Took my family to Hubby's and wow I was impressed how everyone was so polite ordered our pizza and found a table. Amazed how the employees would come around take things out of our way asked if we needed anything. Refilled our drinks for us. Pizza was amazing not greasy lots of toppings. One of my favorite pizzas in town. They have a thin crust with flavor. When all the other pizza restaurants went to the worthless belt ovens they use the old school ovens. I like the feel of the place. Just kind of cool to have that 70's pizza parlor look. Don't change please! Only complaint is it is a little pricey. The last time I was here was about 7 years ago and my memory says it was much better. It is really expensive for what it is. The crust tastes like Red Baron, which wouldnt be so bad if it were Red Baron. The sauce is bland, and the mushrooms were canned. CANNED Mushrooms. Hubby's has been around a long time and is a favorite of many locals. They are located in downtown Kennewick close to the river off of Columbia Dr. The inside is pretty spacious and has plenty of room. The bench style seating is hard with no padding. It's a bit of a rustic look with a throwback style of early pizza joints. Outside seating for family's include a few metal tables outside, but many of the seats are bent or broken. The patio is covered with some playground equipment, which the kids seem to enjoy more than the food (kids, go figure). Orders are taken at the counter, so get in line right away. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wait wasn't too bad since the kids were busy playing. The pizza is a very solid pizza. Crust is a regular thickness with slight crispness. Sauce went well with overall taste. The best part of Hubby's pizza is definitely the toppings. They pile them on high and heavy! My only complaint was that the mushrooms were canned, but that could be my fault for not specifying. Next time I will ask for fresh and see if they have them. Overall a very tasty pizza. Definitely enjoyed the toppings and the portions are worth the price. My favorite meal is a good pizza and Hubbys makes a great pie. Solid 4 stars, I would recommend them for any occasion. read more

So you walk in, grab a paper menu, place your order at the window and get your drinks issued (no refills). Then go find a big clunky wooden table and benches or plastic lawn chair, and wait for your number to be called. They call your number and you go to the window and pick it up along with the paper plates you will eat off of tucked under the edge of your pizza. Beer: Didnt see what they had in bottles, but taps looked to be basic domestic stuff. The pie: Not too shabby. Thin crispy crust, generous toppings. Love the burned cheesy edge thing they got goin' on. Not really thrilled with the canned mushrooms but that's par for an old school pizza parlor such as this. . I think we payed $26 for a large 16"pizza that 3 of us chowed down. Don't bother with the salad bar (unless that's what you really want).$5 for a single trip. Lettuce was bag mix of iceberg. Kind of sketchy looking. Brown and slimey. This place reminds me of another place I reviewed, known as Chico's Pizza in Moses Lake. I mean they even have the same cartoon character with the little chef hat and the big moustache. Same furniture, same crazy, loud, spastic kid infused environment. It is what it is. A pizza parlor from 197? that has remained untouched by progress. Not the best pizza Ive ever had. Certainly not the worst. Would I go here again? Yep. Would I go out of my way to go here? Probably not. There are other places I prefer over Hubby's. If I'm in the general area and I'm hungry I would go again. If it looked like it was as full as when we left, I would definitely go someplace else. Place was ramping up with the loud, spastic, obnoxious kids just as we were headed out the door. I was very excited to finally go out for pizza with the fam. at a local pizzeria. I was hoping we would finally discover our pizza place as every family should have one. We were disappointed and will not claim this pizzeria as our own. You would think a lot of toppings would be a good thing but not really. We ordered ours with onions, black olives and tomato. Black olive overload. The tomatoes were sliced and placed on the pizza cold which is very weird. The service was meh and there was no music in the background, not even a jukebox! Tonight we took our family 7 to hubby's after a swim meet. We walked in the door at 9pm starved. As we went up to order we noticed the salad bar was already closed. Nobody wanted pizza without salad so we left and went somewhere else. Closing time was stated as 945. So why is the salad bar closed at 9?? read more

This Pizza is horrible! The crust was burnt, very thin, over-cooked & tasted like old linoleum. Ad for $25 a pizza (we got 2), it was not worth the money. The toppings are canned, not fresh. Love going to Hubby's. Their pizza is so good. They are a bit spendy but worth it if you get get leftovers for the next day. Went there with my son and got a have Tropic and half cheese. We only ate half the pizza. Being a single mom, my son wanted to play outside on the toys and I didn't feel comfortable leaving him outside alone. I had boxed the other half of our pizza and left on the table with our drinks and receipt sitting on top of the box. When I came back in (literally 3 minutes later) it was gone. I went up to the front and asked if they had taken our pizza away. They young lady said that she let it sit for a minute and didn't see anyone around so she tossed it. She offered to give us our drinks back. No that's okay. I really would like half of my $25 pizza back. Because it is so spendy, it's a real treat to go to Hubby's. sorry to say, we won't be back anytime soon. Very disappointed. DON'T LEAVE YOUR FOOD ALONE FOR EVEN A MINUTE!! read more

Hubbies has been our family favorite place for pizza for two generations and 40 years. I just love the thin crust pizza and the salad bar has lots of selections. The whopper topper sandwich is to die for. The staff is extremely friendly, and refills for soft drinks are free. Locals like it. I'm a transplant. Perhaps that's my problem. Spoiled with places like Zeeks,Pagliacci and Flying Squirrel in Seattle this place was sub par. It's small and cramped. Half of the place was reserved for kids birthday parties. As you walk in its confusing. No one greets you.seat yourself?guess so. Order at the counter. Okay. Counter ladies were nice. hubby's has obviously been around awhile and probably hasn't changed much since opening. The crust was bland and crunchy. My mouth was sore after eating a few slices. It reminded me of store brand frozen pizza. Sauce was meh. Toppings were plentiful. That was nice. Cheap paper plates. I thought the paper plates were make shift hot plate holders. Nope. That's what you eat off of. The playground outside is a nice idea. It's old and run down.you have to watch the smaller ones the the older children are not being supervised by their adults and will run them down. My husband and I decided to try Hubby's for the first time last night. We had heard from a few people that the pizza was good, in fact the best in the Tri-Cities. We walked in the door and were greeted by children running around unsupervised and yelling. Once we made it to the counter we were treated like an inconvenience to the cashier, she was rude and unfriendly. We ordered a medium pepperoni, sausage and pineapple pizza plus two iced tea's which cost us almost $30. We took a seat and waited for our pizza. The pizza arrived rather quickly. We were disappointed with the first bite, the crust was flavorless and the toppings were scarce. As I bit into my second slice I noticed that there was a hair baked into the cheese. I pointed this out to the lady trying to clear our table and her reply was "okay". So to summarize if you want pizza with tasteless crust, few toppings, high prices, poor customer service and hair in your food try Hubby's. read more

We absolutely love Hubby's pizza, but were EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the service tonight. We rarely go out, and have very different schedules with no days off together, so we decided we were going to take it easy tonight and order pizza, as we were both in pajamas. We both absolutely love the pizza that Hubby's makes, so we decided to get dressed to go out and have pizza and a pitcher at the establishment five minutes away from where we live. Ahead of time, we looked up the hours and saw that they closed at 10 pm. Given that this is a Friday night and that we ended up arriving at Hubby's at 9:10 pm, we ordered our large 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepp pizza, as well as our pitcher of beer. The medium-haired blonde proceeded to tell us that they closed the doors at 9:45. I paid no mind, as I had no problem eating our pizza before then, so we could head out, to leave the employees to their Friday night. I've worked in the hospitality business for years and understood the relief of getting off on time on a weekend. She poured our pitcher and had me walk it back to where we were sitting, while she was wiping off the counters, getting ready to close, and brought our pizza to us in a box at 9:30.
