What I found especially frustrating is that the "ALL SALES FINAL -- NO REFUNDS, NO EXCHANGES" stamp was only placed on the receipt after I had already paid, and no one informed me of this policy before I purchased the item. If I had known beforehand, I could have made an informed decision about whether I wanted to buy it. I explained to the manager that I felt this was misleading, especially because the receipt itself says returns are accepted and I was trying to return a defective/damaged item, not simply return something I changed my mind about. She told me that she could only offer me an exchange. I explained that I did not want an exchange because I had purchased a defective item and wanted a refund. Overall, I'm very disappointed with how this situation was handled. I drove out from Central Valley to come get this piñata also, because I knew their quality and trusted them. There was no remorse or apologizing for not having it ready. At my party, It fell apart immediately when I hung it on the string to have all my kids hit it. And I had barely put any candy in it. Not even 1/4 of the way full.
