Would recommend if it was ever open. The location on Hwy 411N in Chatsworth GA is never open when I go by around lunch time.

Kayla called the chef so they could determine the options available and best way to cook them. They went above and beyond with a great attitude and attention to detail to make sure we had no worries about contaminated food. The food itself was amazing. We had several different burgers, Smash Burger, Tavern Burger and Big Game Burger as well as Get Figgy with it and Fish and Chips. Would absolutely recommend, especially with such great staff on hand.

Waitress was friendly and made it very clear not to touch her. She explained that she has an allergy to Mango Habanero sauce. Mango Habanero is one of the chicken wing sauces. We ended up having a conversation about allergies with the waitress. Their chicken wings are juicy and you get many sauces to choose from but my favorite meal was the Mahi Reuben Sandwich which was fantastic. Sweet, tangy and creamy so much better than corned beef. It did not taste fishy at all and the rye bread had the best buttery crisp edges. River Street Tavern is cozy, casual and it has a compact lay out. You get to relax and can have a conversation over a few beers and good food. Place gets busy but is not loud. Whether you're one of the locals or just passing by, leave your mark by pinning a dollar bill to the ceiling.

The food is served nice and hot. Heck, even the beer is cold. Sadly, the cokes were a bit flat. Our orders ran the gamut. My wife ordered a stuffed baker. Probably the best stuffed potato I've ever seen. She couldn't finish it, although I tried to help. I ordered the Saturday special-half rack of ribs & 2 sides for $15.00. Seriously? I paid $14 yesterday for a pretzel. My sides were green beans and Cole slaw. The slaw was like KFC and the beans were crisp, not soggy like the ones that soak all day. The ribs were good. I asked for them dry, but I was referring to no sauce. I felt the ribs were slightly dried out. But still very tasty. My son ordered 20 wings for $20. And a side salad. The wings are smoked, then fried. He ordered half naked/half hot. The hot was more mild than hot. I would have preferred the wings to be in the fryer a little longer. I'm sure if he had asked, they would have gladly made them more crispy. My daughter in law ordered half a barbecued chicken with fried okra and creamed corn. The chicken was moist, tasty, and the okra was perfect. Not too thick of a coating. The creamed corn was thick and rich. The grandkids both ordered a combo of ribs & brisket. They must have liked it, we didn't hear peep out of them. And their plates were cleaned! Bub-Ba-Q is a way better than average bbq joint. It's got character, good food and good service. And for good measure, toss in a nice selection of cold beer on tap.

Food was fine, but was primarily just fried foods you can get at any fair (not specifically apple-y). Only a few stands were selling fresh apples, and of those, only one had apple cider! We parked at the school for $5 and were easily able to get in and out. The festival had over a hundred vendors available for browsing, with lots of unique handcrafted items, interactive activities, and yummy food. You can get everything from tacos to barbeque to ribbon fries. We opted for some tacos, street corn, a pretzel, and some apple dumplings and all the food was great! The apple dumpling and the pretzel were personal highlights for me. The event itself does get really crowded, so be prepared to wait in lines for a good portion of your experience. Many of the vendors are cash only, and the day we went the credit card system was offline, causing a reliance on Venmo or other online payment options. Just like every other fair, the prices will be a bit high, so bring a decent amount of cash so you can enjoy your time. One thing I would hope to see in the future is more participation from local orchards. There was a lot of variety with vendors, but I was hoping to see more of a focus on apples as the star of the show. Overall, the festival was a fun experience I could see becoming a yearly tradition for our friend group.
