Huddle House was one of the few places that didn't look insanely busy during the post-church rush as we went for breakfast on our last day in town. Needless to say, I WISH there were locations closer to our home! I love the atmosphere in HH, and the diner-like feel. Everyone was pretty busy, but things seemed to move efficiently. Messes were being cleaned up fast, and all diners seemed as happy as we were! Our server was patient, kind, and interacted with our friends' 8 month-old quite a bit too. She checked on us frequently and made sure we were happy with our experience. My strawberry topped pancakes with a side of bacon made my day, and were tastier than places that charge twice what HH did. I wish I had gotten a picture before I downed them! Haha. Like a Waffle House, but better! For us today the service was supreme! Kudos to our server, Kristin who made our meal an adventure! My chopped steak dinner was perfect! Good stuffed French toast. Service was great! Scrambled eggs were cold but the rest was hot so I didn't say anything. Decent breakfast spot!

They never answer the phone! Has us on hold for almost 30 minutes. The food is good though.

What can I say when you're out of town you get tired of the same old hamburgers and fries and you look for something that has a little bit more and you look for somebody that can serve you with a smile, i have been working here in madisonville for five weeks this is my go to place ask for Michelle ,great service , great smile ,good food and a great price it's home away from home. This is just my biased little feeling, but I think that Huddle House's waffles are far superior to Waffle House's waffles. Bigger, fluffier, tastier: there's nothing about it that doesn't surpass Waffle Houses limp monuments to batter-sadness. The Waffle at the Huddle House is no different: outstanding. Sadly, that's the only thing outstanding there. I went it, had very crappy service: the food took too long to get to my table, especially since it was just one waffle. And the non-plused server couldn't be bothered to talk to me when I paid my bill, or even be bothered to get off the phone while ringing me up. I recommend The Huddle House in Madisonville, Kentucky. My disabled mom and I were greeted with the door held wide open by our waitress Tricia. We had the best biscuits and gravy with eggs cooked to my liking ( I'm fussy about my eggs) crispy hashbrowns and bacon, the sausage was really really good. We liked the breakfast so much we ate there every day while on vacation and brought relatives each time. Coffee and tea were fresh. Food was on our table fast and hot.Tricia took great care of us every day. Mind you we stayed at an all you can eat included breakfast hotel across the road and couldn't pass up the Huddle House we were hooked after the first breakfast. read more

The last two times my girlfriend and I have been there, the service was horrible... My order was totally screwed up, asked for tater tots, got fries. No lettuce on my BLT!!! And that ROMAIN scare should not have affected the Iceberg lettuce... The employee dropped money on floor TWICE in two different areas. A $10 by my table and a $20 by another. If it wasn't for honest people, he would have lost that money!! Honestly, I have not had good service but only 1 time out of the last 5 visits there... It will be a long time before I go back and ONLY if I hear from word of mouth that it has improved. I'd say you'd be lucky to get half of the employees to pass a random drug test... read more

some people that work here are the RUDEST people i've ever met. they kept forgetting our order, messing it up, and it took FOREVER to get everything we asked for. the tables were a mess and sticky (we moved to multiple). we had 3 servers, the first one was so ditzy that ordering a drink was difficult. the second one was okay but had a terrible attitude (which lasted the entire time) and our third one who was male was the only decent one there. he actually had respect and could really help the other workers there have it too. basically this place cares about nothing more than your money and that's it and it's sad i even have to say all this. read more

Huddle House is located near the regional hospital, so it was the perfect place for me to eat a quick breakfast and do some paperwork when my relative was hospitalized. The country ham was delicious, and Melissa and the other employees delivered efficient, enthusiastic, and friendly customer service. This place is very kid-friendly, so don't be surprised if it is a little noisy. The free Wi-Fi was an unexpected feature. read more
