I had been going to Hudec for a few years and had never had any problems. A couple of years ago I was scheduled for a cleaning when the office called and said they needed to reschedule as the hygienist was going to be out that day. OK. Not a big deal. What they didn't tell me was that they were actually having staffing issues at the time. They told me they could not get me on the schedule for another 6 months! I was shocked! So I'm just supposed to miss my 6 month cleaning? They assured me that there are always cancellations and they they were certain they could get me in soon. They said they would send me a notification whenever there was a cancellation. The problem with that was I would get a notification with very little notice (like less than an hour) and that is not enough time for me to be able to leave work. At this point, I should have just tried to schedule with another dentist, but I had been happy with the care I had received here. Finally, my rescheduled appointment was approaching and I was ready to just put all this behind me when they reached out to tell me they would have to reschedule my appointment as the hygienist would be out that day and, once again, they told me they could not get me on the schedule for another six months! Again, they tried to assure me they would likely get me in sooner, which, again, didn't happen. At this point I did end up looking for a new dentist, and was still waiting because it took a bit to get in for a cleaning as a new patient. I suddenly needed periodontal deep cleanings, which I had never needed before ( I did get a second opinion on that just to be sure). I attribute this issue to going over a year without a cleaning due to Hudec repeatedly cancelling my appointments. I did reach out to them about this and all they said was "Well, you should have sought care elsewhere then." And yes, maybe I should have sought care elsewhere sooner, but they never informed me they had been understaffed for so long and then tried to push their staffing issues onto me. They should have tried to get me in at another one of their offices instead of just telling me I would have to wait another 6 months each time. Also, they shouldn't have kept assuring me they would be able to get me in sooner when that was basically impossible. I was highly disappointed in their lack of customer service and accountability. read more

Easy check in with Gina !!! As today was our first visit- Alison did X-rays and was hygienist and very nice and explained everything. Dentist had good bedside manner and went over X-rays and plan for upcoming needs. Glad I found a new dentist ! read more

My experience itself was fine. My hygienist was wonderful, she knew I was a little nervous/uncomfortable and she completely eased my mind. Unfortunately, the billing and scheduling process is concerning. I was scheduled for a routine cleaning and exam. The office was understaffed, which I was not informed of either prior to my appointment or upon arrival. I showed up and got x-rays and an exam then was told I'd have to set ANOTHER appointment for the cleaning. Annoying, but not the end of the world. I set another appointment, paid for the x-rays not covered by insurance (I had short-term coverage at the time which is limited but covers preventative services like a cleaning). Days after my cleaning I got another bill for the cleaning. So I called to rectify; everyone I spoke to was pleasant enough, but kind of dismissive stating, "your insurance is calling this separate services and not paying for the cleaning...we've never had insurance say that before...". Basically, not our problem. So, the single star is for pushing understaffing issues off on the client without notice by creating an inconvenience via a second trip to the office as well as not troubleshooting subsequent billing issues. It all felt a little lazy and a bit shady. read more

I was very pleased with the experience at Hudec Dental in Middleburg. There was very little wait time. X-rays taken efficiently. Sheri, the hygienist is pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and thorough. There was no efforts to upsell me on products/services. The Doctor was clear with his findings. read more

Latara, Chay and all the girls in the office have been such a pleasure to be around every single time we come in for visits. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone who let's me brag about it. I've been with Hudec dental since 1997. Followed my hygienist from he West 25th office to Middleburg heights. So it's not just a dentist office it's more like a family when I come. Dr. Geise at the Middleburg Heights office is the absolute worst dentist ever. Every time I've come here, he's just plane nasty. Today was the last straw for me and I will never come back. I came in for fillings today and for some reason was experiencing severe pain. To the point i was in tears. All the man would say is he's not even touching it when clearly he was. I was pretty much called a liar to my face. In tears, I asked why in the world would someone lie about being in pain. Idk why it's hurting like this but it most certainly is. One would think the appropriate response from a medical professional would be to investigate the cause. The man literally mocked me while smiling in my face. Then walked off cocky as if he's to important to be bothered. When someone is jumping off the chair in tears, the appropriate and professional response would be sympathy. Not belitting someone and smile in there face because you felt it shouldn't be hurting. I'm literally still in my car in there parking lot so upset. After crying for 5 mins, I'm just so angry and disgusted. How can a person in the medical field be so disrespectful and shallow and lack any empathy for his own patients. Every appt has been worse than the last. His arrogance enters the room before he does. Truly blown away. The only thing the office has going for them is his assistant. She was the sole reason I even came back. She actually acknowledged my pain and showed empathy when it was very much needed. Never in my life have I wrote a review about anything or anyone but never in my life have i experienced someone so condescending and rude. I wouldn't recommend my dog here. Do not go here for the love of god, I came here with a broken molars and the doctor told me nothing can be done and it needs to be extracted, so I go to a different dentist who did a root canal and a crown. If I were to get them extracted it would cost thousands to get implants. Always go for a second opinion. This doctor at this location was very rude did not care about my teeth at all, treated me like a commodity just to make money off my insurance. I would recommend Elite Dentistry Center-Bogdan Butriy DDS, they saved my theeth they also take care source. This doctor made me feel comfortable and really cared about my teeth, very professional. Dr. Guiess is the such a talented dentist. Him and his staff are very caring and considerate.

I had to have a root canal and like most people, I don't like dentists. After having one of the worst visits with a different dentist, Dr Feldman was one of the kindest and gentlest doctor's I have had the privilege of having work on my teeth. They say this man has written the book on how to numb a patient up, and that is true. It took about 20 minutes for him to do all the injections, but when he was done, he could have removed my jaw and I wouldn't have felt it. I really liked how he listened to all my fears and concerns, and reassured me that I would be okay. During the procedure he took his time telling me if we need to stop, that it is okay. All along the way he told me what he was doing, and I felt absolutely no pain during he procedure. This man and his staff are a true blessing! read more

I am writing this review to warn anyone that may choose this dental office if you have children. My experience was good as I walked through the door and filled out my paperwork but it stops there. After a 20 min wait I was greeted by the personal assistant Stephanie and proceeded to the back with my daughters care (1st time visit). A general cleaning, x-rays and exam followed then the nightmare began. After questions of why we were there I explained we are starting over and wanted to get the best care for my daughter. Thank god I was in the room as my daughter flinched during her cleaning as the assistant was cleaning her teeth and my daughter feeling very uncomfortable during the process. Not one time did the assistant say more than "Open your mouth, now close" not "how are you" or "are you in any pain". Going to a dentist is traumatic for a lot of people let alone having 0 bedside compassion. But it gets worst once Dr Paul Geiss DDS arrived. He not only didn't seem to care but constantly made me feel belittled for explaining our situation or recommending what we should do next. I asked my daughter one question after we finally got out of there "How'd you feel" the answer was "The worst experience at the dentist ever". WOW! That is why I am posting this review! read more
