So, far after my first visit I would give 5 stars. The office is very clean. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly, cheerful and informative. They gave me an office tour prior to taking me back to the room. My Hygentist Sam, was very friendly, and communicative about everything she was doing. She explained the outcomes throughout. She was sensitive during my cleaning and asked how I was doing. Dr. Karim was very friendly and explained everything to me in great detail. She even gave me a scratch off ticket. So my first experience with this group was fantastic. Also my appointment was on time which is a plus. read more

I had crown work done here in July 2020 that was botched. The crown doesn't line up with the root on one side making food stuck and difficult to floss out. It irritates the gums and I am in pain every few days if I don't chew on the other side of my mouth. The new dentist has been keeping an eye on it waiting to redo it once my insurance is able to cover it (they cover crown work one every 5years). read more

Dr Kirpekar had been referred to me as well as my husband by our former dentist, who was in the process of retiring. At this time Dr. Kirpekar's practice was located on Ridge Road in Parma. During that time, and when he transferred to continue his practice at Glacial Dental he continued with his caring service with us. He has always been upfront with what his recommendations were as well as concern regarding our satisfaction and well-being. There have been a few times where he would call us to check how my husband felt after his appointment or if there were any other problems to contact him immediately. His work ethics I feel are outstanding, highly recommend him, wherever he may continue his practice. read more

Here's one to avoid ... "love letter" from our dentist prior to the holidays even refusing emergency care because THEY do not want to submit insurance claims to our insurance healthcare provider first. Their front of office have three times overcharged us for co-pays and contracted prices for services. I issued BBB complaint for the fraudulent charges and the reply from Glacial Dental was that Delta Dental gave them the wrong information. But we never had problems when Kirpekar had his office by University Hospitals. His front of office was competent and efficient at the old location. When I mentioned the issues we were having with his new billing department with Glacial Dental versus his old office he responded that they do things differently there. Summacare said we were better off going elsewhere but in the meantime another complaint investigation. Probably better off as I've lost three teeth with this dentist and the last 2 crowns resulted in extreme pain resulting in one dead root that needed a root canal (he has no idea why I am still having pain with that tooth) and the last crown I am babying with Sensodyne. BTW shortly after he let go most of his staff his dental hygienist quit. Cleanings here are definitely not as good as his former dental hygienists. They even use contractors for cleanings ... the cleaning before last ... the hygienist failed to clean 25% of my teeth! 12-20-24 update: Summacare sent us results of their investigation into our complaint against Glacial Dental Nov 19. 2024. I bring your attention to this part of the SummaCare Dec 18, 2024 letter to me: "Delta Dental advised them all participating provider must verify member benefits before they collect any payments from Medicare/Medicaid members. They advised charging member more than they will owe and not verifying the correct amount, is considered balance billing, which is a breach of the participating provider's contract with both Delta Dental and Medicare Advantage. Delta Dental provided them with the participating Uniform Requirements, which indicates this information for their review. Glacial Dental stated they worked up a check, returning the amount rendered for services provided you on November I,2024. The write-off amount of $44 has been refunded to you on November 25,2024. The remaining balance in the amount of $66 was sent to you via ordinary mail to your address they have on file. Additionally, they have reviewed their billing practices and provided the necessary coaching and re-education to staff." Unfortunately Dr. Kirpekar denied care. This appears to be retaliation as the same letter from this DDS also included denial of care for my wife. Summacare is investigating. Just be aware that if your doctor is "charging member more than they will owe and not verifying the correct amount, is considered balance billing, which is a breach of the participating provider's contract with both Delta Dental and Medicare Advantage." This is a direct quote from our dentist in his letter dated 12-12-24 : "We will not be available to treat any emergency you might have due to the requirement of a prior Authorization being needed for dental procedures." Just to reiterate ... this dentist overcharged my wife and I three times. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I almost never write reviews but i felt it was necessary to warn people about this office. They are committing malpractice by both price gouging patients as well as misdiagnosing them. At first glance it looked like a nice office with nice staff, after further evaluation I realized just how manipulative they are. For starters they are double booking appointments so if your appointment time is at 9am, dont expect to get into a room until 10:30. If youre taking off work to come here you need to keep that in mind, and thats not a 1 time things thats been every time im in their office. Thats alone would have been completely forgivable though, the misdiagnosis is not. This office claimed I had 6 cavities and wanted to charge me $1,576 to take care of them on top of charging me $407 for a cleaning. I have never had a cavity in my life and thank god I decided to go to another dentist office to get a second opinion because they confirmed that was bullshit and that i actually had ZERO cavities. This office tried to charge me almost $2,000 of completely unnecessary procedures. I was stupid enough to let them do the cleaning before i got that second option, i asked them for the price breakdown of it all. One part they explained as part of the procedure where they would put a cleaning solution on my teeth at the end to flush out any bacteria left. They sent me home with a bottle of solution to rinse with and only after i paid did i realize they lied about that part of the bill and that it wasnt for anything they did in office, it was for the bottle they sent me home with. They charged me $35 for the bottle, its on Amazon for $13. Its called "oxyfresh - fresh breath, lemon mint mouthwash w oxygene & zinc" so if anyone tries to manipulate you into paying more than double what its worth you know the truth. read more

I went to Glacial Dental/Broadview Dental in September 2022. They told me my dental exam would cost about $225. Then, during the actual exam, they claimed I had periodontal disease, gave me a bottle of medicated mouthwash, and charged me an extra $450. I had not had periodontal symptoms before that exam nor have I had any afterward. A dentist in Atlanta in early 2021 told me my gums were fine for a person of my age. The supervising dentist was on vacation in Rome. I got fleeced. read more

I am a 66 year old Musician, after many, many dentist over the years, Glacier Dental in Parma now wears the crown, pun intended...They are the best! The Staff, Place, and Procedures are impressively professional and I highly recommend them...GOD BLESS THEM read more
