From our brief conversations during this process, it was clear that James is very knowledgeable. He also does an excellent job of explaining what he's doing and why, which is rare in his industry. This was my first experience with Dr. Plumber, but I guarantee it won't be my last.

I Called Thursday morning to make an appt. To fix a leaking faucet. They were booked for the day…read morewhich I understood. The girl on the phone was very nice and helpful. She said she could get me in the next day- Friday. I told her I had to go into work, but I could try to leave early and did they have afternoon availability. She said how about 3 or after 3, I said that's perfect. The plumber calls me Friday at 9:40am and said he is on the way to my house, I told him I was at work and my appointment was at 3pm. He said he understood and he would reach back out to me around 3pm. I told him if I was able to leave earlier I would give him a call. I took off work early so that I could be home before 3pm, I called him at 3pm to let him know I was there. He said ok, he would call me when he was on the way...I called him back at 4:45 and I asked him if he had an idea of the time he would be coming. He said he was snaking a pipe in Portsmouth and he would call me after to head my way. It's now 10:15pm...I took time off of work for nothing, he never called and he never showed up and my faucet has a constant drip. The office was respectful and kind, the plumber was kind on the phone...but it is so rude and disrespectful to just not show up or call back and let them know you are unable to be there. This was my second time "using their Services", they had just repaired a leak in my crawl space a couple weeks prior and those guys Were quick, kind, and efficient. I am beyond disappointed with This go round, I will not be calling them or using their services again. I will take my business and my money elsewhere.

Upon moving into my (new to me) older home, we learned about some of the bad things that people do with their flushing standards. This bit us in the rear when the entire system got clogged. This clogging created a backflow of stuff you don't want to see, to come back up.. into the showers, bathtubs, yeah... it was messy.. and ugly. I called around to find a plumber that would be willing to help me and at first I just left a message to call me back. Shortly after, Newman's quickly responded by returning my call. The lady was very friendly and responsive to my needs. She mentioned that they had availability sooner than other places AND they had an option for emergency service. The emergency service (after hours) was obviously going to cost more but honestly, I had literal fecal matter in all our tubs, etc. it was totally worth it to have someone come asap. The gentleman who came over definitely knew his stuff. Dave had been doing it for a long time. He was very quick to isolate the issue and get everything resolved. He was very concise with what he was doing and the path to get things clear. I'm very pleased with the service I got as I had a no BS - let's get you straight service and was able to get it when I wanted it (which was immediate). Buchanan Plumbing was a godsend today! Our toilet was leaking around the base and bubbling…read morewhenever we ran water AND it wouldn't flush. First I called my regular plumber and even with standing water on our floor, they couldn't schedule us till July! I called two others and no one could come today. Finally I called A1 American and had to pay $179 just for them to come look at it and it took them all day to get here because they don't schedule appointment times! Once they were here they quoted me over a thousand dollars to snake my toilet. I got back on google and google recommended Buchanan's Plumbing. Great reviews and known for their honesty and affordable pricing. Called him up, he quoted less than half of what A1 was going to charge me! So, I paid A1 the 179 for coming and sent them on their way. Buchanans was here in 30 minutes. Had it fixed in a couple hours because the job was slightly more complicated than they thought it would be. But the price didn't change! And they're super nice, very friendly. He actually cleaned the bathroom when he was done! Scrubbed the floor, put everything back better than it was! He even put shims under our cabinet because he noticed it was leaning forward. Incredible! Even with what I had to pay A1, Buchanan ended up still being cheaper than what A1 quoted me. And I know they did a better job. Hands down! I'm SO GRATEFUL for finding Buchanan! I'll recommend them to everyone in need of a plumber. They're our go to from now on! Thanks Buchanan!

These folks provided wonderful, professional and quick response to my leaking water heater problem…read more Very professional and hard-working plumbers that got right to work upon arrival on a difficult to access attic water heater replacement job and finished in about 2 hours and took great care to clean up afterward and not make a mess in the house in the process of carrying the old leaky tank out. Would definitely recommend and use these great folks again.

We have a a home warranty so if we have a plumbing problem...we don't call the home warranty service we call Carson plumbing. T There was one time we had a water leak in our house and we called home warranty company they sent out a plumber and a plumber did not fix the leak or anything. We had to call out Carson's plumbing to fix our water leak that was going on in the middle of my house. Mr. Carson and his son they've been a plumber as I say it for with 25 years and if I want a job done they're gonna do it for me right and they're also my neighbor.
