Just an excellent experience. I had a previous plumbing company out that was sent by my home warranty company. After three weeks without a working kitchen sink, I was told would be 4 more weeks before they could make the repair. In desperation, I called Buchanan based on online reviews, but not expecting much. To my delight, not only did they come out to diagnose the issue (which was far more extensive than the original company had stated), but they gave me a reasonable quote and came out THE NEXT DAY to make the repair. What we thought would be a 2 hour fix turned into an all-day repair. But the techs were upbeat and professional the whole time. I can't imagine what a nightmare this would have been with the original contractor. I would no doubt still have rotten pipes hidden in the walls or have been charged exorbitant rates. Buchanan even shimmed up my wobbly toilet while they were here! I cannot recommend this company too highly. TL:DR -- Fast, professional, competent, personable, affordable. read more

Buchanan Plumbing is fantastic! We had a sprayer leak and unusable kitchen sink over the weekend. I texted BJ Sunday evening not expecting to hear back until Monday business hours. But he called to discuss the problem within just a few minutes and we set up an appointment for Monday morning. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and gave us great professional advice on what we can do to fix it and how to replace the faucet. He even gave us the confidence that we could do it ourselves when he could have said that we needed him to do it. A really generous thing for a business owner to do! We are replacing our faucet as I type and if we can't finish it ourselves I will definitely be calling Buchanan to come back out, as well as for any future plumbing work we need. Turned out the entire pipe had decayed over the 54+ years in the ground. The Master Plumber, BJ Buchanan, assessed the situation and gave us options. We have had both BJ and Brandon (his son) make repairs in our home. Both are polite, informative, friendly, and do excellent work. In fact, they take the time to ensure a job was well done according to their high standards. Since we have immunosuppressed people living in our home, they have no problems wearing a mask as requested. My favorite quote from both, at separate times, when checking out a plumbing concern pointed out by another repairman, "I could do the repair [change out your pipes], but it isn't necessary. I had a leak both under my kitchen sink and at the faucet, plus the water control valves were not working (they had not been replaced since 1977). I called and left a message and was called back within 2 hours. BJ was professional and scheduled a consult for a couple of hours later. He clearly explained what needed to be done now and what could be done later, as well as pricing. We went ahead and had everything repaired, replaced and updated. Called to have my garbage disposal replaced because I jammed it up and could not unjam it with the allen wrench or reset button. Called Buchanan Plumbing. Mr Buchanan (Master Plumber) came out, same day, even though I called late in the day, assessed the situation and said, "I think I can fix this". BJ came out the same day I called for a leak under my only bathrooms sink. I'd had another "plumber" come out 3 times that upped the price but fixed nothing. BJ knows what he's doing and explained everything to me so I understood it. He noticed my drain was running slow as well and had to go on the roof to clean a pipe.
