I went here November 2016. I've been here with my girls. I loved the cozy friendly vibe you get inside. All my friends love it too. The waiter was nice and offered his expertise in what we should order. I wasn't a huge fan of the cocktails, I tend to be more of a sweet cocktails drinker. But my friends love it. I love the music they play here, however, it's really difficult to hear because they don't have a decent speaker system. I was uncomfortable the entire time I was there because of their ball stools. They're really small, high and uncomfortable. I was just too short for them. I think the person who designed this bar must be really tall. The drink I had was fine, albeit expensive. The service was fine. I like that this place is in Cap Hill. It does have a nice vibe and I'd come back here if I could sit in a comfortable seat. read more

This is one of the coolest bars I've been to in a while. During the day it gets tons of natural light which is great for all the plants inside. At night, it's more intimate and cozy. I've been here a few times and tried different cocktails and I've liked all of them. I told the guy behind the bar what I like to drink and he made me a New York Sour (which I've never heard of). It was delicious! I guess it's kind of like a whiskey sour but with red wine poured over the top and probably some other different ingredients. Not exactly sure and I haven't been able to replicate it at home, but my palate was pleased. The music selection was pretty outstanding. I mean come on, who does A Tribe Called Quest on vinyl. It wasn't just hiphop either, they do a nice job of keeping the music fresh. read more

Great date spot! Very interesting variety of drinks, great atmosphere that is intimate but not too exposed, not too loud, with high ceilings, unfinished brick walls, punctuated by giant plants and industrial rails. It's somewhat rare to find totally unique cocktails, but I found that in my coconut mint tequila beverage (pictured). There are couches for groups and more typical benches / bar seating as well. 5 stars, no doubt about it. Coffee shop by day, bar by night...you really cannot go wrong. I come here all of the time to do school work, chat with friends, or read. It is the perfect place to get a drink, a little something to eat, and get stuff done. The space itself is beautiful and bright. You can either choose to sit on a couch, lounge chair or at a table. Nice ambience inside with less of a volume of customers than nearby coffee shops. The lower patronage adds to the relaxation vibe of the coffee shop. Only a handful of menu items, although I loved my baguette and butter. The lower stars are for extremely slow service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back, but the slow service and sparse menu make it only 3 stars for me. read more

Ok, folks. This is my 3rd, err, maybe 4th time here. Mostly I find myself here because it's directly on my way home from work. But I also came with a group around 8 1 night after dinner. The coolest part of the place is that no matter the time, or how busy, the vibe remains the same. And that vibe is just what I'm always looking for. All the class with no pretension. This is a very cool and hip place to get a bite, alcoholic drink or just a great cup of coffee! There is a very cool and open atmosphere that is great for most all occasions. I will say that it gets very busy very fast so I recommend going during the slow times. I will also add that they play music at a very loud volume so chatting with a pal or meeting for busses isn't the best idea here. We live in the neighborhood and love coming here. Sometimes we end up spending 5-6 hours because it's easy to get lost in what you're doing. It's a peaceful but vibrant atmosphere. Definitely a nice vibe to get work done and the decor and people are wonderful. Food and drinks are diverse so there's something different when you want to switch it up. I haven't had a single thing I haven't enjoyed yet! I had the cheese plate today with a cashmere cheese from Longmont and it was so delicious, and the plating was adorable. The olives are also really bangin. Also music selections are always on point. If you love great chai, lattes, cold brew or matcha, this is the spot!! They also have oat milk ftw!! The ONLY thing I could possibly suggest and hope for is some Baileys at the bar. I'm a big coffee Baileys fan and would drink 3-5 of them while working if it was an option. There's a full bar so I don't think it's too far out of the question. In the meantime, I'll keep my fingers crossed and continue coming in because I love it here! read more

Great spot with a beautiful mid century modern look. Great service with complimentary water, good coffee, and good tables to sit at. I wanted to give this place five stars but the extremely loud rap music was so loud I couldn't hear the person I was studying with so it was kind of a difficult environment to get homework done. I can see the music being played in the evening when people are drinking cocktails but not 9am when people have just woken up to drink coffee and get some work done. Please turn down the speakers so it's a more relaxing environment in the mornings. read more

I had the MOST amazing customer experience here. A friend and I wanted a place for drinks before heading to Charlie's that was classier than the usual Colfax establishments. I usually get run and Diet Coke but b/c Hudson Hill is so hipster, they don't have cancer causing sodas on tap. Our server offered to run to the corner store for me (during his shift!) to get me a Diet Coke so I could have my favorite high class beverage. :) He was gracious, super personable, and non-judgmental of my drink choice. Stopped by this cafe while we were waiting for our names to be called for Jelly Cafe. I ordered the special which was coffee with orange honey syrup. It was the best coffee I've had in a while! The baristas also added to my experience. They were so nice and friendly and the cafe's decor was really nice. Would definitely revisit next time we come to Denver. read more
