No reply/answer. So the package of pre-season tours I bought cost $120. It was for two 2- person tours, with an regular value of $240. First, the coupon code generated never worked. I had to call and email to get them to confirm that I actually got booked for the tours I wanted. Thankfully, they got back via email fairly quickly. But, I also realized that the prices online were $25-30 per tour per person for their regular tours. So, my preseason coupons were actually MORE expensive than had I just booked it regularly online. Technically, after two tours x 2 people I would still have at least $10 left on the account. Or do I still have $130 left since regular value was $240?? If they made a mistake with their promotion, fine. I just wanted an explanation. I'm not looking to get more than the original 4 spots out of that coupon. However, after multiple emails and calls. I still haven't gotten answer. That's just not professional. And I'm also not looking to get back the $10 that may still be on the account. We had a great time. And I left the tour guides a generous tip each time. The company needs to look into their promotions and make sure their customers are getting what they're paying for. And, it needs to answer emails. I can understand being understaffed, esp during Covid, and being unable to answer your phone all the times. But, emails...no answer for 2 weeks now. Inexcusable.

There are no restrooms on boat or in the parking area of the park. They have an outhouse if you really need to go. Is down the stairs in a dark closet like space. So if your thinking of trying this makes sure your bladder is empty before getting on. The staff are very friendly and respectful. They can answer all your questions. It was a fun trip. Ring your own snacks they don't sell anything on the boat. I am glad I got to experience the ride on a sailing boat. But for me one and done works. You can help raise the sails if you want to.

It's an all wood vessel designed after the old sailing sloops. And I must say it's a very good-looking vessel. The crew, which was made up of almost all volunteers, were great and very personable. As part of the trip, we all got to help hoist the sail which was quite the experience. It actually takes a lot of work and people to hoist this massive sail. We sailed in the evening and got to watch the sun set over the city. We were lucky that there was enough wind to get us moving but not too windy that it made the sail rough. We had a such a great time and wished that the sail was longer!

After having difficulties loading up the boat for the season, a worker finally came by to rudely inform us what was being done wrong. We don't work at a marina or on boats, we launch the boat in May and it stays in the lake at our dock until the fall- two different processes done once a year each. The worker stood there to say what was done wrong and as we tried to fix the issue continued to make rude comments about us fixing the problem incorrectly. Talk about helpful costumer service! Not. I'd suggest bringing your boat to Candlewood if you have the choice- larger slip to lunch your boat and probably better customer service.

The price was a little steep, but I didn't mind because their docking prices are so reasonable. I dropped the boat off with them to get the hull primed and painted on a 19' boat (including jacking it up off the trailer). The price was $1000. The job was done in just under 2 weeks, which was a decent turn-around time considering the weather was rainy and they had lots of other boats to work on. The paint job was outstanding - they were able to figure out where the waterline began, which is difficult to do because I keep the hull clean. Upon picking up the boat, they took their time to explain how bottom paint works and how to maintain it at the end of the season. The employees here are all patient, friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to keeping my boat here again in the 2017 season.

This place is a rare combination...being both a relaxed barn and a place where the safety of people and animals is top priority. The owners are young (in their 30's), committed, positive and professional. I've been on and off riding for 45 years, so I've seen and been involved in many different equestrian situations. At Cimarron I've taken a lesson, been on a trail ride, with a friend, and ultimately decided to lease one of their horses. I was out on my boat on the Hudson River early on a Sunday evening and needed gas. Every fuel dock…read morethat I stopped at was closed for the day and I was starting to run low. Instead of burning gas going to each marina, I began calling ahead. Rogers Point was getting ready to close, but the person who answered the phone (it's a yacht club run by it's own members) said he will stay open and wait for me. I filled up and we were able to enjoy the rest of the night on the boat thanks to Rogers Point. The member who helped me also said to call the marina by radio any time when they're closed and any of the members will be glad to come out and open up the fuel pump. Great place just north of the Walkway on the Hudson for any boaters who are ever in need of gas - and reasonable gas prices.

Reserving the date on the website was a breeze; however, cancelling and rebooking another date was a nightmare!!!! No one would answer the phone or email in a timely matter. We emailed them to change from Sat 10am to Sun 10am; a few days would go by before someone wrote back to say "Sun 10am is booked, what about 2pm?" I replied "OK" immediately. Then a week goes by and finally someone replied, "Sorry Sun 2pm is booked, how about another day?" By the time they replied, the slots were already booked. It was ridiculous! 2 - Day of Ride - Helen, the owner?, called us at 7am and told us that the trails were closed, because of the heavy rain the night before. I was offered to either to reschedule or ride the arena. There is no way I am going to reschedule, so we went. We arrived 45 min early just to check out the farm. There were 4-5 staff there; all young college-like ladies, plus 1-2 older women. The farm was open, with cats and chickens roaming freely around. We signed the waiver form, grabbed our helmets (gross, small and dirty!), and mounted our horses. 3 - Horseback Riding - Our horses name were Aurora, Jupiter, Levi, and Lakota. The 4 horses trotted in a line; 2 staff were walking and leading the first 2 smaller horses my daughters rode. For an hour, we rode around the outdoor arena, and up and down the driveway path twice. My 10 year old daughter said "We were not really controlling the horse that much. It was boring, because part of fun was to learn and control your own horse the way you want, but that did not happened." They did not offer any riding lessons or stories of the horses or rescue facility. No hot cocoa either.
