For 5 years we've organized a big group of friends & family to tube down the Delaware River together through Kittatinny Canoes. Every year it's a blast which is why we keep coming back! Kevin & Vanessa are THE BEST! They're available to answer all questions and respond quickly via email / phone. They help me get our big group organized and into the water so it's all fun & no hassle. Only 90mins from NYC and such a fun and relaxing outing. Highly recommend!

Arriving in Pond Eddy. We made it!

My family took a very nice day trip here. We traveled up from NYC on a Sunday. Amongst the group, many of of have never been water rafting and were nervous about the 7 miles we would have to complete. Upon arrival we signed waivers and purchased our water shoes. We were then driven By a bus a few miles up to our start site. The river had its calm parts but other times things got a little intense. At not time was I in fear of my safety it was Fun. At some point during our rafting we pulled aside to the left and had our lunch along the river We packed our garbage with us and got back in our raft to finish our 7 miles I would absolutely do this again! I encourage people from the city to come out here and experience this, the town can use more diversity and New York City people need to take a chance step out and enjoy the outdoors. .

    Camping?

This review is specifically regarding the camp sites. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. Trust what you have read out there on social media, this site is the worst. Firstly, this is more like a picnic ground on the side of the road than a campground, and I have been to many others. Sites are on top of one another (see photo). The green tent is from our group. All the other tents are from 2 camp sites combined...11 tents on 2 sites! We wanted a site with electrical and water because we had our sons with us. There were many other families there as well. The site directly next to us (in the picture) had in excess of 15 people there! They were young (late teens/early twenties). As the night progressed, the massive fireworks began. Okay, seems like fun. Then, they continued into the late evening. At 12:40, the gentleman who patrols the camp caught them in the act. He told them to stop. Mind you, this was not the only site lighting fireworks. Then, AFTER that, the party stared. We understand being young and partying. There was music, loudness, drinking, etc. So, 12:40, okay. 1:00, eh, alright. However, around 2:00, yes 2:00, the yelling and fighting (literally) began (yelling included racial epithets-as they were able to refer to themselves in those terms). A fist fight ensued. We decided it was most prudent to not interject ourselves into the situation as we had children with us. I went to find a cell signal, as there is none almost anywhere there, by the office. I happened upon the camp "security" and told him to put a stop to it or I would call the police. He listened and did. Then, he patrolled several more times. Eventually, he stopped and, here we go again! Another yelling and fighting match breaks out. All this eventually dies down at 3:30!!! Great! No one slept. The office responded to our complaints the next morning by telling us that they were leaving and blackballed. We cut our experience short. Do NOT camp here.

    A mighty nice spot

As far as camping goes, this place has a terrific location and does a great job of upkeep. Have been here a number of times over the years, and we have our annual gathering in a set of sites right on the bank of a stream that feeds into the Delaware. The campsites are neat and kept clean, they are prompt on emptying the garbage and the port-a-johns are also neat and clean. Each campsite get a garbage can, a fire ring and garbage bag. Fully loaded spots with running water and electic hook-ups are available for RVs and pop-ups. They offer indoor and outdoor showers and full restroom facilities a short walk from whevere your site is located. The campgound store is fully stocked with mostly everything, including firewood. and stays open until 8pm The facility also sponsors on-site paint ball, zip-line, and river rafting (canoes and kayaks too).

We had so much fun rafting. The day started off cloudy but turned out sunny and warm. The rafts were comfy and the river was perfect temperature and height.

    Time to launch

Another spectacular year at Kittatinny Barryville! Our sites were private, clean, and spacious. The portable toilets, never the highlight of anyone's outing anywhere, were cleaned daily and as accommodating as they could be. We did hear some noise on our Friday night, but I mentioned to the staff in the camp store and Saturday night was perfect. The campground was efficient picking up garbage and keeping everything clean. Aryssia and Lisa checked us in efficiently and with a smile. Sara got our large group's boating paperwork processed quickly, and the guys down by the river sent us out (after their dumb speech) with only minor delay. Overall, we've been to other Upper Delaware sites, and for us, Kittatinny is the best one out there. (Note: If you're reading this review and wondering if there's anything you can do to save camping for the rest of the world, your neighboring campers have one simple request: please leave your loudspeakers at home -- YOU are the cause of most of the complaints about this campground, not Kittatinny or its staff, and if you cannot go a night without loud music, stay home).

We did have a large group of ~15 people, 2 dogs and a rabbit. The owners were super friendly and kept checking up on us. Be warned that your campsite will still be somewhat near other people, so it would be helpful not to blast music at late night hours. There is running (cold) water at the sink where you can wash your stuff next to the bathhouse which also has cold water. The toilets are portable bathrooms, but they are the cleanest portable bathrooms I have ever been in! It is even scented (and you can smell it from the outside). You don't even smell whatever business is in there even while you are doing your own business. Although there is no running sink in the bathroom, they do provide hand sanitizer, but you can just walk a bit to the running sink. The waters were clear, and there was water activities nearby. You can also buy firewood and ice from the owners. You won't get much cellular service here if any at all. But the night sky was beautiful when I came to visit. It was clear and so much stars out, we even caught sight of a comet and 2 shooting stars! This place is one of my favorite campsites thanks to Kevin and Ann (the campsite owners).

Really was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. Great owners-who really walk you through it and are there if you need them, but make themselves scarce for your privacy. Beautiful and AMAZING views at Two Bridges. Loved waking up and seeing and hearing the river. Nice trails-clearly marked and there are different levels depending on your level of fitness. But the easy trail-still was a great hike. I have a bum foot, so was limited on what I could do. The River Trail was beautiful and had great views. No cell phone or Internet-I thought I would freak, but I found it so relaxing to be able to really get away. I'm a complete email junkie-and I LOVED it. The cabin I was in-Two Bridges was very clean and was decorated beautifully and understated. And in floor heat! Fireplace was dual bedroom and living room and was very easy to work with the included firewood. I really loved it here! And-already planning a trip back!

Jane and her family were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating upon arrival. They escorted us to our site which was located only a short drive away from the entrance. After making sure we were all set, they left us to enjoy the rest of our weekend. The site itself was spacious and secluded from the other campers within a close walk to the bathroom facilities. The Delaware river was in our backyard and the scenery was picturesque. There was a fire pit and two picnic tables set up for your convenience. The only animals we encountered were friendly Bambi's, fuzzy caterpillar friends, and the usual pesty mosquitoes. There were no Pooh Bears or any of the like which made our stay all the more relaxing. I've done my fair share of camping and I can attest to the fact their bathrooms are super clean for camping standards! The hot showers in their facilities, despite costing a small fortune in quarters ($1.50 for 3 mins) are an added bonus. It became our daily challenge to beat the clock and served as a reminder to "be green". The owners even came to remove our garbage from the site! Prepare to be cut off from civilization and become one with nature (unless you have Verizon or Sprint service. I have AT&T and did not have service until I was a good 5 miles past the camp grounds). All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and plan to return. I highly recommend this site to all 'glampers' (glamour campers) and beginners.

I had seen some postings and some information about 2021 and thought that while there were some drawbacks, it was important to get my son out of the house and doing something for the summer. When looking around, there were numerous other camps in the area and other kinds of programs, but when I had seen what greeley offered to what the price would be especially compared to the other programs, I thought that it would have been a steal. I jumped on the offer for a 2 week session and luckily everything worked out. Greeley was great, the people were very welcoming and worked with the kids very well and my son made a number of new friends which is the bonus to him being up and moving.

The many activities that were shown on the video were not available (the ropes course for example) due to being understaffed. My son actively disliked his experience. I will also say that this director responded to my review on google within 12 hours of my posting but as a parent I emailed and didn't hear anything for more than two weeks. This Director clearly cares more about image than actual responsiveness to parents or the camper experience. In fact, I am still waiting on a response to my email. We were not told in advance about activities being closed, and we were assured that although there were Covid staffing issues there would be enough staff to run a great camp. This was not my son's experience. There are many awesome camps out there and parents should know that the directors are unresponsive except to reviews.
