Full transparency, I have limited camping experience, and we booked our stay for Memorial Day weekend, which is typically a cold and rainy time, so we didn't get the chance to fully enjoy or experience the amenities. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The campsites are well-spaced, and each spot comes with a picnic table. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, and the water temperature was warm enough for a comfortable shower. The camp also has a small store with all the essentials, and there's a Walmart and McDonald's nearby for anything you may need beyond that. They keep the area tidy, with clean trash bins and bags provided, and the trash is picked up in the morning. The only downside was the lack of night patrol. There were several loud parties making it difficult to sleep, though I understand this is more of an issue with guests not being considerate. Additionally, the site next to ours had a notably loud snorer, which made things a bit more challenging. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Kittatinny K-Camp. read more

Staff super nice but no security at night. We had a group of 40 people blasting loud music with bass ALL hours of the day and night. We told staff and they did speak to them. They still played the loud music and after 10pm continued to scream and make as much noise as possible. We nicely spoke to them ourselves as well but that didnt stop the noise. We werent able to relax and enjoy nature the entire 3 days, so we left a day early. I emailed twice and filled out the campgrounds survey, and no one has gotten back to me. Terrible customer service. They need security at night all times of the year to prevent this. I would never go back again because of that. You want, quit... look elsewhere. All reviews say the same thing it seems. 5 Stars to Daniel and Chris for personal touch and finding us 4 working canoes for our group. 1 star is for Kittatinny Canoes cheapness and non-working, very outdated equipment. Pocono/Delaware scenery is definitely 5 stars but it is not KC achievement. We have used KC for the last 20 years every year, and firsthand witnessed how it is going downhill. On the last trip, none of the canoes had working foot rests, which is a must have if you want to row correctly and not break your back. And that is where, Daniel and Chris came to the rescue - they dove into 2 trailers and found us 4 working boats. It is a good thing that it was a mid-week and they were able to provide such personal touch. Just sad when you see a company going downhill like that. read more

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at Kittatinny, (Friday - Tuesday). When we first arrived at the Milford PA campground, and were not happy with our site, Kayla and the rest of the Kittatinny team worked hard to transfer our reservation to the Barryville NY campground and then helped us choose a site that was absolutely perfect for us!!! It was private and spacious, equipped with a picnic table, garbage can, and fire ring. The campground is beautiful and the bathrooms were roomy and clean. There were several large groups of campers during our stay (on Friday night and Saturday night) and there was noise, but it was not the fault of the Kittatinny staff. Sometimes people are not considerate of each other, no matter how hard you try to instill "camping etiquette" into them. The grounds were monitored and the staff regularly drove near our site, which was pretty secluded, to make sure that we didn't need anything. We felt well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our experience at Kittatinny will keep us coming back!!! read more

We missed all those bad reviews on other sites, our bad for not checking first, and now that we spent a Friday night here let me tell you they are true. If you're a 20 something and want to get your party on, this is the place for you. Anyone else out of that demographic or who enjoys peace and quiet when they camp, THIS AINT THE PLACE FOR YOU. My family took a very nice day trip here. We traveled up from NYC on a Sunday. Amongst the group, many of of have never been water rafting and were nervous about the 7 miles we would have to complete. Upon arrival we signed waivers and purchased our water shoes. We were then driven By a bus a few miles up to our start site. The river had its calm parts but other times things got a little intense. At not time was I in fear of my safety it was Fun. At some point during our rafting we pulled aside to the left and had our lunch along the river We packed our garbage with us and got back in our raft to finish our 7 miles I would absolutely do this again! I encourage people from the city to come out here and experience this, the town can use more diversity and New York City people need to take a chance step out and enjoy the outdoors. . read more

This review is specifically regarding the camp sites. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. Trust what you have read out there on social media, this site is the worst. Firstly, this is more like a picnic ground on the side of the road than a campground, and I have been to many others. Sites are on top of one another (see photo). The green tent is from our group. All the other tents are from 2 camp sites combined...11 tents on 2 sites! We wanted a site with electrical and water because we had our sons with us. There were many other families there as well. The site directly next to us (in the picture) had in excess of 15 people there! They were young (late teens/early twenties). As the night progressed, the massive fireworks began. Okay, seems like fun. Then, they continued into the late evening. At 12:40, the gentleman who patrols the camp caught them in the act. He told them to stop. Mind you, this was not the only site lighting fireworks. Then, AFTER that, the party stared. We understand being young and partying. There was music, loudness, drinking, etc. So, 12:40, okay. 1:00, eh, alright. However, around 2:00, yes 2:00, the yelling and fighting (literally) began (yelling included racial epithets-as they were able to refer to themselves in those terms). A fist fight ensued. We decided it was most prudent to not interject ourselves into the situation as we had children with us. I went to find a cell signal, as there is none almost anywhere there, by the office. I happened upon the camp "security" and told him to put a stop to it or I would call the police. He listened and did. Then, he patrolled several more times. Eventually, he stopped and, here we go again! Another yelling and fighting match breaks out. All this eventually dies down at 3:30!!! Great! No one slept. The office responded to our complaints the next morning by telling us that they were leaving and blackballed. We cut our experience short. Do NOT camp here. read more

I've been coming up here for over 20yrs , and the past 2 yrs have been horrible this campground went downhill , I don't know if it's the corporations fault that bought it or the fact that they just don't care . The bathrooms are horrendous toilets constantly overflowing, bath house is filthy, they no longer have a security guard at night in the booth so it's a free for all with the people who come and go . They did away with paint ball, zip line , laundry and other amenities. The staff is just not the same either they look like they are miserable to be there , We asked if they could come weed wack the tall grass never did . This was the worse labor day weekend camping ever . We had 11 people total this time 2 new couples and we were embarrassed cause we told them this was such a great place . Oh yeah don't let me forget the $25 lock fee thay charge now , why is there a lock fee to secure our site, we pay in advanced for the site that should be good enough it cost us an extra $75 for the trip . It doesn't sound like much to a business but to the average working stiff it is. One of the most amazing things you can do an hour and a half out of New York City is take a Kittatinny raft ride down the Delaware. No matter the length of the ride that you take it's really enjoyable. The water is so clear. The wildlife is awesome. A swim in the river feels and TASTES unbelievable. read more

The place and the location itself is nice and if you are next to a river it's an added bonus. Also, you don't have to worry about bears because the sound of South American music blasting all night at incredible volume till 5 am keeps them away. Bring ear plugs. read more

As far as camping goes, this place has a terrific location and does a great job of upkeep. Have been here a number of times over the years, and we have our annual gathering in a set of sites right on the bank of a stream that feeds into the Delaware. The campsites are neat and kept clean, they are prompt on emptying the garbage and the port-a-johns are also neat and clean. Each campsite get a garbage can, a fire ring and garbage bag. Fully loaded spots with running water and electic hook-ups are available for RVs and pop-ups. They offer indoor and outdoor showers and full restroom facilities a short walk from whevere your site is located. The campgound store is fully stocked with mostly everything, including firewood. and stays open until 8pm The facility also sponsors on-site paint ball, zip-line, and river rafting (canoes and kayaks too). read more

Stayed here during the summer and had the worse camping experience I've ever had. The first night there was extremely loud music and we politely asked our neighbors to turn the music down. Finally, at 3 in the morning, we yelled for them to turn it off. They eventually went to sleep a short time after. The next day I went to the office to let them know what we experienced the night before. Another camper interrupted saying he had the same experience. He was in a completely different area than we were. They made a "note" of it. We then went on the river for the day where my husband actually fell out of the raft and hit his head leaving him disoriented and with a concussion. When we made our way back to the campground, the manager, Lisa, was there having to tell our neighbors (the one's who we had issues with the night before) they had to get out of the water (a completely different issue). I then proceeded to tell her this was the same family we had issues with. She assessed their campground and attempted to take away their large speaker. They (neighbors) convinced them that they would put it in their car. While my husband was talking with Lisa, one of the family members started yelling at my husband telling him once 10PM hits, he is going to kick his @ss and they will be screaming and dancing on the tables as loud as can be. At that point, I didn't feel comfortable staying the night there. The option they gave us was to pack all of our stuff up and go to one of their cabins. They "tried" to tell them (neighbors) to leave and they refused. Instead, we were the ones that had to move, unreal. Remember, my husband also had a concussion. We then moved to the cabin which took us forever and then they tried to prorate the cabin. We weren't having it. They did credit us, however, I will never go back to one of these campgrounds EVER and will make sure to tell everyone not to go here. This place is a joke. If you want to have a relaxing weekend, go to a state park and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you want an all-night party, I guess this is the trashy place you should visit. I teach a small class of 6th graders from the Mountain Laurel Waldorf School in New Paltz, NY and decided to take them on a river trip for an end-of-year celebration. I chose Kittatinny out of all of the others because they were the only ones that could provide us with a lifeguard as required by our school. Their reservations people were polite and helpful. Fast forward to the morning of our trip. Ruth, the owner called me to say that all of their lifeguards had fallen through for the day, but she was working on a replacement. I was pretty worried that we'd have to make a quick decision to cancel the much-anticipated trip. Well, Ruth came through! She got one of her top people to accompany us. He brought along another guy just in case and they accompanied our merry band of paddlers. We were having such a good time that when we got to our intended pull-out spot, I asked Joel, our guide if we could go further. The river was up and the wind was at our backs. He radioed to the base camp and they totally came through!! It was a slow day for them and beautiful out so no one seemed to mind. We ended up paddling about 9 miles on the river that day. I'm sure it's a day that my kids will never forget. And lastly, Ruth called at the end of the day to make sure everything went well for us. Now, that's old-school customer service! So, don't get the idea that Kittatinny is a big outfit that's lost its family feel. These guys are both professional and earthy. Thanks for a memorable trip! read more

Please be very careful while booking this trip. We just realized our trip was booked for the wrong month after we had already paid for our trip and paid to hold a specific site. This site had alot of meaning to us or we would just pick another one. All they keep telling us is, it was human error what is the big deal. Instead of this company making it right and finding a way for us to have the site we had already paid to reserve they have suggested we cancel. Considering we planned around these days we are not left with many options. I am glad we didnt show up for our planned trip in Aug because tgey gave our site away and booked us for sept. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE--BEWARE. What a nightmare stay. I'd give it ZERO stars. I'd love to post the photos of 3 out of the 4 toilets in the ladies room clogged with everything you can imagine. My children were horrified. There is no attendance to the facilities despite the MASSIVE amount of people using them. I had to complain 2 days in a row for housekeeping to stop by. Staff couldn't care less. For the ridiculous price they charge, what we saw there is atrocious. I've stayed in State Parks for half the price and cleaner restrooms. In the time of COVID, there was no handsoap!!! The staff should be forced to stay here a full weekend. They PACK PEOPLE IN--each site had 3-4 tents and as many cars. Probably 10 people per site, but hard to tell since parties reserve a bunch together. Their "Rules" are an absolute joke--1 tent and 2 card per site, they say--right! As other people noted, the music coming from groups all over the place was at full volume until 3am. By NO MEANS A FAMILY PLACE for relaxation. In addition, to do the Zipline and Tubing, the amount of waiting in line and administrative paperwork was beyond tolerable. You would think the rest of the place was run so tightly. Wish we checked Yelp before booking because all these other reviews are our exact experience. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! YOU WILL ONLY BE DISSAPPOINTED! I checked into Kittatinny Barryville NY on Thursday June 10th. The multiple campsites in the three hundreds by my site (close to the bathhouse) were all one group confirmed by the gentleman at site 327 to me. On Thursday June 10th 10:00 PM I had to request site 303 to turn down their music. Friday June 11th at 4:00 PM, site 303 started with their loud music. At 12:45 AM I woke up and ask them to turn down their music; they did not. As I laid awake from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM there was a firecracker that went off in that time. Finally, at 3:00 AM the music stopped. On Saturday June 12th 10:00 AM, their music began again. At about 11:00 AM the music turned up louder! At this time, I walked to the front desk/store to complain. I was told I was the 5th person to complain, others said they heard broken glass. Manager stated both broken glass and firecracker are illegal. They advised they had just warned them, and they will go back again. I believe this is why they turned the music up louder at 11am on 6/12/21. As I was leaving the front desk/store, another person from campsite 420 came in to complain. The music continued to be loud for a few hours. I was on my way back to complain when I ran into the manager and regional manager at the bathhouse buy campsites 200. They indicated they were taking the complaint seriously and Ricco (GM name I was given by security) advise this was their last warning then he was going to ask them to leave. Before he headed to the campsite, he advised he would be on grounds until "late" that evening. Around 7:00 PM my party doubted the music would stop at a decent time and looked to request a campsite move. Upon arrival to the store, it was discovered it had just closed. Per the security guard we could not change sites because people were still coming in. (It was Saturday night- how could people still be coming in when you must book Friday through Sunday?? Everyone for the weekend would have been there already!) The security guard also said he spoke with the general manager and that the disruptive campers were to be given one warning. So at this point they were warned multiple times during the day, the manager acknowledged there was illegal activity, and they were given at least two "last warnings". In addition, Ken the security guard I spoke with Saturday night after the general store closed, told me he had given them four warnings Thursday night and included it in his Thursday night report. When half of the campsites from 420, 301, 1020 and more complain multiple times about disruptive people-at what point is there action? I spent the whole weekend upset and not enjoying myself. They got to enjoy themselves! They learned they could do whatever they wanted, and nothing was going to happen. Because Kittatinny valued that disruptive group of multiple sites over me and my one quiet site, they made their money off of them, and I requested my money back. I reached out to them three times and received no response. read more

My kayak been missing rudder. I flipped 3 times despite I'm a decent kayaker and the rapids were pretty simple, but not if your kayak flips every time you try to paddle in reverse. The paddles are heavy and inefficient. Even guys at the pick up feel bad for the equipment the rent. No helmets. Indeed, why bother? One associate asked me why I was upset, so I told her, but she has no idea what rudder is... people who running this business should just all quit and go to school before someone dies. Another spectacular year at Kittatinny Barryville! Our sites were private, clean, and spacious. The portable toilets, never the highlight of anyone's outing anywhere, were cleaned daily and as accommodating as they could be. We did hear some noise on our Friday night, but I mentioned to the staff in the camp store and Saturday night was perfect. The campground was efficient picking up garbage and keeping everything clean. Aryssia and Lisa checked us in efficiently and with a smile. Sara got our large group's boating paperwork processed quickly, and the guys down by the river sent us out (after their dumb speech) with only minor delay. Overall, we've been to other Upper Delaware sites, and for us, Kittatinny is the best one out there. (Note: If you're reading this review and wondering if there's anything you can do to save camping for the rest of the world, your neighboring campers have one simple request: please leave your loudspeakers at home -- YOU are the cause of most of the complaints about this campground, not Kittatinny or its staff, and if you cannot go a night without loud music, stay home). read more

My wife and I booked the Mountain Tour for last Friday afternoon. The drive up from Long Island was dramatic due to the change of season colors and the elevation changes. Once at the campgrounds we were welcomed by John who was out tour guide. Masks were mandated inside the office where registration and the safety procedures video were efficiently completed. A quick overview of the Polaris RZR XP was given, helmets and eye pro were provided and off we went. The tour lasted sixty minutes and was through wide open lanes to barely ones wide enough for the Polaris! Elevation changes were dramatic and a bit challenging at the start, following John in his Polaris. Once I got the "lay of the land" and used to the vehicle's incredible power and traction there was no looking back. We had a blast! And did I mention the scenery and the sights? Outstanding. We were sad when it was over, but don't be dismayed by "just" one hour... that was sufficient time. Thanks to John for a great challenge and we look forward to doing this again soon. And one more thing- the Polaris was clearly well maintained. Incredible power, handling and comfort. read more

This place is dangerous, is not enforcing any social distancing requirements, and is overbooking. You will be camping directly on top of others. The weekend I stayed here involved the police being called multiple times, and parties raging until 3am. If your idea of camping involves binge drinking, shooting off fireworks all night, and a karaoke machine, this is your place. Want to throw a rave in a campground, where the employees won't lift a finger to stop you? Is your favorite hobby tormenting dogs by setting off fireworks all night? The campgrounds are ok. Peaceful and right next to the delaware river. 2 yrs ago when I came here, the bathrooms were disgustingly covered with daddy long legs from ceiling to wall. This year when I came, the bathroom was cleaner because they had rinsed the bathrooms apparently. The outdoor showers are much cleaner, but beware some annoying people who will do kinky shit in there during the day time and hog up the showers. Don't be afraid to let them know you know whats up so they can stop and let everyone else shower because there is a freaking line of people. Another annoying thing is after 11PM and people are still screaming and playing their music loud as hell as if I was back in Corona. Notify security if you would like to sleep peacefully because even 4AM I heard the campers next to me talking and laughing. STFU. After complaining to the office, there will be more random security check ups. I came camping to be one with nature, not to listen to people screaming and music blasting after 1AM. The first thing I'll say about the campgrounds is that the staff are friendly and helpful. The property is clean, safe and generally inviting. The product is great. With that said, the system is broken and the place could seriously benefit from a more solid process. Currently, they have no process so anything would be a huge improvement. The first day, we arrived at 12:00 for a 12:30 zip line reservation. We were third in line and waited for over 45 minutes to pay and get our contract (receipt) printed. As has previously been noted, they don't have a centralized reservation system, nor can you pay in advance. That's simply crazy. We were checking in on a Sunday and it was a ghost town. There should be no issues checking in and paying. After that, we went to the zip line staging area to be briefed and rigged. There was only four zipliners going up with our group. It wasn't until 1:45 that we actually zipped. Crazy!!! We arrived thirty minutes early and zipped an hour and fifteen minutes AFTER our reservation. And for no good reason, other than severe inefficiency. Checking in to the campgrounds wasn't hard as there was no other people in line. So that was easy. Next day... We had a 10:00AM reservation to canoe the river but we were running late so we were told to get there any time before 1:00PM and we would be fine. Again, I went to check in, waited in line behind a huge group, each of whom needed to sign individual waivers and pay. It's madness. Simply emailing the waivers to those who make reservations could save this time. They can be printed directly from the sight and people could show up with them. Also, having one waiver that counts for all the activities would save tons of time since each patron would not be required to sign all three waivers. Eventually, we made it down river. It's truly a beautiful trip and I highly recommend it. When we landed, we were made to wait around for another group of river trippers who were almost an hour behind us. The manager openly told us she didn't want to have to make two trips back up river. So we waited 45-50 minutes so they didn't have to drive the six mile trek twice to close out the day. Silly. That was the final straw for me. We didn't stay the next night. Overall, I'd only recommend the place for camping. It's clean and the sites are big. I'd go back to camp and use a different outfitter for my river trip. read more

This camp site has fallen off drastically . At one time it was a great family camp ground. They advertise a pool that hasn't been open in 3 years every time we went to the bathrooms they were clogged up and when we complained they kept saying they can't find maintenance. People kept cutting thru our sites and one kid almost tripped rite into our fire. The 11:00 quiet time is not enforced loud music screaming bright lights pointing rite into our camp And even Simone blowing off fireworks at 2:00 am We had small children with us and it was impossible to put them to sleep and no matter how much we complained to staff no one cared. It was so bad we left a day early and won't be going back. We have been using kittatinny for about 15 years it is a shame what it has become. read more

SCAM!!! They keep their website open and allow you to reserve any time to go canoeing or rafting. Little do you know they oversell reservations 10,000 times. You arrive to a chaotic and congested scene and a 3 hour wait in a line where people are standing less than 1 foot from each other with few mask compliance. Reservation times mean nothing. Staff are not COVID compliant either, not a single one wearing a mask, and they all have rehearsed lines about computers being down as the cause of the wait. Other boat rental companies 100 feet away from this one let you know they are sold out for the year. Says a lot, especially considering how Kittatiny Canoes are still taking reservations the day of! They force you to leave (and steal) a non-refundable deposit. SCAM! Avoid them at all costs! read more

I have 5 years of camping in this place. It's a hit or miss. Usually we go in August which is pretty busy, this year we went in June and it was fairly empty. The bathrooms were cleaner than usual. The pool was not open, we are hoping next year it's fixed. It was empty, however the 2nd night there we did get a family who sang karaoke and loud music till about 5 in the morning. Albeit we are Hispanic and like to party like any one else, we had kids with us who needed sleep. Funny thing is that we also had a staff member come check up on us the following morning....I'm assuming it's because they thought it was us making all that noise? We'll never know... Years prior the muskers would patrol at night through the campsites maybe they should reinforce the quite hours. read more

Positive: fantastic location by a beautiful creek and steps away from the Delaware River. Plenty of options for activities (canoes, zipline, paint ball, hiking, etc.). Campsite is relatively clean and well kept. Negative: the campground must be known as a safe heaven for gatherings of loud and disrespectful partygoers. I was there with 5 kids on a Saturday night. Around us there were also a pregnant woman and a very young child. By 5pm loud music was already on. It went on until 2am accompanied by loud screaming. Now I pity a bit those who need to go to Mother Nature only to recreate a rowdy party scene. But clearly the campsite does not enough to address the issue. When after a sleepless night we complained at the campsite office, we were told, without an apology or any meaningful gesture, that the campground would permanently ban the noisy guests. That's obviously not enough: why not calling the police? Why are they not posting/sharing the names of the individuals in question with every campground in the region? Why not moving the guests in question to a more remote area of the campground? Reading other reviews (only now), it appears that there is clearly an issue with managing loud guests. So all in, really a nice campground that won't see me again unless I can be assured serious measures are taken against noisy crowds. If that's the target of this campsite, they should just advertise it as such, so people with families or who go camping to be in a quiet place in the woods know what to expect beforehand. read more

no one that works there knows what's going on. when I arrived I was told to park down the road at their over flow lot and a bus would bring us back to the main spot. when we parked in the over flow lot we were told to walk back which would normally not be a problem but we were carrying coolers and gear. after arriving to the main area we had to wait with a couple hundred people for our reservation to be called to get on the bus to go up river. we waited over a hour and a half. Horrible experience, been there twice. Recently went this weekend and was horrible. Service was terrible our family was denied zip lining after making reservations at 4pm was told to come back at 6pm. we weren't aware 6pm was closing time. Service horrible we were told there was no supervisor for the day and all of a sudden one appeare. Felt very discriminated against. for some reason we werent acknowledged and brushed off however people not of color were acknowledged. Bathrooms disgusting and service even inside the store horrible no sense of direction. So you sit around until someone makes themselves available because their only in charge of one thing when there's multiple people standing around. read more

Actually campsite was nice and they were prompt in getting us a fire ring. The staff was all new and did not have basic training to keep things moving. We waited an hour to just check in and get our site at 8pm on Friday night. We waited two hours to go paintballing on Sunday before we finally called it quits and just went to hang by the river. Everyone was kind and it was clearly the managements fault for not providing better training. read more

I wondered several times during my stay at Kittatinny campgrounds, if I died on the road coming here and I have reached hell. The horrors began when we arrived at 9 pm on friday night and were told that we weren't registered and they couldn't find us in the system. After an hour of arguing and showing proof of payment, they admitted that they gave away our campground and that we can take several empty campgrounds that are available. (None of which can accommodate our 18 people group.) After finding a spot and settling down, it was nearly 1 am! Which is all for the best I guess because this is not a campground afte rall. It was a non stop party. All the camp sites are really close to each other. I can high five the person next to us, if i wanted to. Everyone played salsa music or techno until the sun came up. 3 am: there was fire works. It is clear that we didn't sleep at all. Have you ever heard salsa music for 36 hrs straight??!?!?? No? Pray to Zeus you never do! You have been warned. DO NOT COME HERE if: You have kids that need sleep You need sleep You like nature Peace is in your dictionary You always liked salsa music (because you wont ever again!) You do other things in the woods other than getting piss drunk You like to get ripped off by overpriced campgrounds that do not give two sh** about you. Happy camping ^-^ read more

Don't leave your items unattended . The employees them selves will take down the campsite. And take any items that they want for themselves. The manager Rocco will say that your lying about the items that were taken from you. I wouldn't trust any of there employees . They have little to no sympathy read more

I stayed on a Sunday night, and thankfully the place was empty. The campsites are right on top of eachother, maybe about the width of a 2 car driveway. When we arrived our campsite was covered in trash from previous campers and we had to ask someone to come clean it up. We stayed on the river...which was the only saving grace. It was 100% beautiful to watch the sunset and eagles soar. But again, we were the only people there. The real bathrooms at the main camp were disgusting and I found the port-o-potty to be more useable. The fire rings at the site were old and abused and had holes in them that let the fire escape and light the grass on fire. We signed up to zipline and tube for the following day and woke up to thunderstorms. We were told there were no refunds. I was already bitter and angry about the crap show I had seen since I arrived prior and told the young lady I would just file a charge back on my credit card. It took doing a charge back for someone from the camp to actually contact me and finally agree that I was entitled a refund. They did offer me a free night of camping...which I will never use. I'm sad it took involving the credit card company to make them improve their customer service skills. If you wanna get a bunch of underage friends and party all weekend and booze it up with no one calling the cops, this is the place to go. If you actually enjoy camping, go somewhere else. read more

Been camping here since I was a wee little one. Has its own country store available for last minute bug spray, marshmallows, and sandwiches(???). Has a pool (but it's small and honestly, the river is probably cleaner than it), a dinky little arcade, volleyball net, and a dinky basketball hoop. Certain sites are right next to the Delaware river and they offer rafting/tubing/canoeing down it. Also offers paintball. Multiple bath houses available and they're decently clean for a camping place. Sometimes the water smells like eggs. It's from the sulfur...... i think. The sites get pretty crowded because the grounds are popular. You can buy firewood by the bundle from the store and make a fire in the metal ring. Awesome night sky. and I highly recommend going rafting (even though it's pricey). The rapids are never quite "white water"-esque, no crazy life threatening moments, but it's ALWAYS a good time. Bring a cooler packed with drinks and sandwiches and spend a few hours floating down the river, watch dragonflies mate, lay out in the sun, jump off and take a dip in the river, but don't get stuck in the eel traps! It's all about the teamwork. read more
