I have had a slow leak in one of my tires for a long time. (Living in Orlando, I feel like this is a constant battle. Why are there so many nails and such in the roads?! It's like playing Mario Kart every time you drive!) I was referred here by Mike the Mechanic. I called them, and much to my surprise, they said I didn't even need an appointment! I dropped my car off at 1:30. (I believe they have a lunch break from 12-1:30, FYI.) They said, "I'm sorry, but it's going to be a while. We have a lot of cars today." Their idea of "a while" was only an hour! It was close enough to downtown WG that I just walked up the street to Three Birds Cafe to have lunch and work before they called me to say it was time to pick up. Everybody I spoke to there was very friendly. They got my tire patched up quickly. It was very reasonably priced. Everybody should go here! I have to report this issue. I had a tire on my car that had a slow leak. I took it in, to Hudson Tire, they kept it for the day, they could not find ANY leak. The next day I was on the 408, going 60+ miles an hour. I had a huge blow-out! I knew immediately what it was. I was in the far left lane, closest to the median. I had to stop there, traffic was bad. I put on my hazard lights. I had to wait there with my car, during rush hour, in a space, not quite wide enough for a car, for 2 hours before AAA came to rescue me. We took it back to Hudson Tire. There was no discount. There was no apology. I could have been seriously hurt by the blow out. (Thank goodness I wasn't). I learned. I'm not taking tires back here. I don't know what happened! But I can't trust them with my life again! read more

Uncle Richard was a sweet heart. This is the best tire shop in Florida. We're from Los Angeles and on a cross country road trip. Our tire pressure signal came on four days ago. We went to three tire shops and all of them turned us away because they were "too busy." Our angel's directed us to this amazing family business and come to find out we had a nail puncture and if we kept driving the tire could have possibly exploded on us. We were treated like family. Very nice hometown friendly business! I found that the prices are very fair and the service to patch my tire was fast, 15 -20 minutes tops. The waiting area and restroom was very clean and the secretary was very nice to us. And I believe they filled the air in all of my tires too because I left there riding smooth. A few times I've had car issues that Hudson could have attempted to repair themselves. Instead they referred me to the dealership, because that was BEST for me and my car. When you think of a successful small business, Hudson's is the stereotype of a great business. I called around 8:30 and told the receptionist I think I'm out of the balance, the tire, not me though my wife may disagree. Brought my car in and waited a few minutes. The man greeted me and said he could take me back to work but I walked because it was only a 7-8 minute walk and it was a nice day outside. Came back after lunch to pick my car up and was told that one rim was bent, they moved it to the rear. Said it would be best to get a take off from the junkyard as the dealer would be quite expensive. Shook my hand and sent me on my way. It seemed like a very family friendly atmosphere there. Overheard him telling another customer that if they're going to fix it, they will do it right but they couldn't. This was as he referred them elsewhere as it was beyond the scope of what they could do. A lot of shops would try to take advantage of someone like that. Travelling back to Virginia and thought I had a water leak in my HIghlander. Carquest called Mr. Hudson who took me right away on a holiday weekend. Turned there was no leak, only condensation from my A/C, but they found out I was low on antifreeze. They ordered a gallon of vehicle-specific antifreeze and added almost half of it and checked all 4 tires which I thought were a little low. Asked for the bill and Mr. Hudson would not take a penny from me, no matter how much I insisted--not even for the antifreeze he had to pay for. What an unexpected blessing and I was back on my way home to Virginia in a matter of minutes. read more

Won't be going back. Went in for oil change and brake pads. My oil drain plug was stripped out. Two of my lug nut covers were lost, a dirty rag was left under my hood and I have to take my truck somewhere else to have them figure out what is wrong with my brakes.
