The gimmick here is that it is fast. On my one and only visit I was in line waiting on a random weekday at 1 pm for over an hour. Once you get in line and someone gets in behind you there isn't a way out. You'll be blocked in (theres a single line that wraps around the building then then splits into two but the only way out once someone gets in line behind you is through) so be ready for that. After waiting an hour in line in my car - there is no lobby or seating at all I had to use the bathroom and they jokingly said "$5" but it really didn't seem like a joke. Had I said yes they acually would ahve taken money from me. It was more forceful and honey pissed me off. We jsut moved and in our previous state that kind of thing is illigal. I'm not sure if it is in FL but it should be. The bathroom was however filthy once I did get in. Then they were all a little too comfortable with me (single white petite female) for my personal taste. (lots of mama, pretty girl, etc) there was a long line of cars on both booths so I know I was in fact safe but I do not like that kind of thing. Lastly, after supplying my own oil and filter it cost me $62...I have never paid that in my life. Everything was very rushed during my oil change, and I noticed that items on the service checklist were not completed. I had to return because the air in my tires was never checked. When I came back, I waited another 10 minutes and still wasn't helped, so I eventually left. Been a customer of Take 5 in wintergarden Florida ever since they bought the previous owners out of that business. The positive good knowledgeable, friendly crew. The bad shouldn't be called Take 5. It should be called take hours. I have used this company from Louisiana to Florida with the same results in questions. Why is it you have 2 to 4 days and you all only change oil in one bay at a time.? Seems to me it would be or cost-efficient to train your staff adequately that you could utilize all 2 to 4 bases at the same time during peak hours. Questions comments.? Long story short , the nice gentleman gave me 50% off due to me driving across town from Altamonte Springs, the man told me their bay would not take my Hyundai Genesis car it wasn't long enough. My usual oil change place was closed on Saturday so I tried out Take 5 today. I was greeted by a team of three guys who got me in and out within 15 minutes. The price was about what I have seen elsewhere for synthetic oil, but I felt like their service was thorough and friendly. You feel a bit like a driver with his car in a pit stop as the guys busily work around the car to get it back on the track. They took care of the tires (air pressure) too. Really good experience. I have a high mileage vehicle that is burning oil more than I would like and this company has been a godsend. Not only do they offer quick oil change services while you sit in your car, but they will top off your oil in between oil changes. You have no idea how beneficial that is. I literally come in every 2 weeks to top off my oil until the next change is due and the best part is the service is completely FREE!!! This company overall just offers exceptional customer service. So good that I go to 2 different locations regularly (one by my job and one by my home). They offer you a water bottle while you wait and I've even been offered fruit snacks or lollipops as well. I may be an adult, but snacks are nice while you're out and about doing errands. And their staff is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and not pushy with offering other services. Got an oil change yesterday, Angelo drained only 2.5 quarts of oil out of my 6.9 quart engine. He then proceeds to tell me "wow your engine barely had any oil". mind you I have a Mercedes so as soon as the oil is below it will flash on the dashboard. There is an electronic oil sensor. He then proceeds to add oil on top of the old oil. I left and drove to class only to have white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I returned the following day and he refused to refund. He told me he's only willing to take out a little bit of oil. He very rude and argumentative despite almost grenadeing my engine. I told him you either refund me or redo the oil change. He finally agreed to redo the oil change. we found out he overfilled the engine by FOUR QUARTS. I was absolutely livid. He kept blaming his equipment and trying to blame me. I was absolutely fuming and the other employees were shocked at such negligence. I told him that I took pictures of every mistake he made and will be contacting a lawyer. He finally apologized and wrote a letter stating his mistake along with a refund. I was super persistent and pushy. 0 stars would not recommend. Someone that's not knowledgable about cars wouldn't have caught the mistake and risked engine damage. I now have to get the car inspected for any damage to my turbos along with the exhaust system. This is beyond a rookie mistake. Mind you he's the manager and claims "he's been doing this for 20 years". 20 years but can't properly drain oil and check the level. I recently had an oil change at Take 5 Oil Change Center, Kissimmee, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. Although they were offering a 50% discount, it ended up costing me more than that. After the oil change, I noticed that oil was leaking from my car, which was an issue I had never experienced before. I went back and informed them about my complaint. They changed the oil again for free, but the problem persisted. Additionally, they checked my transmission fluid but didn't cover it with its cap. When I went for a transmission service, I got to knew that the cap had been lost. I called 5 Oil Change Center and spoke to the manager, but I was disappointed as they said they would call me back. Despite my many attempts to follow up, my problem was never resolved. On top of that, I had to spend more money to fix the oil leak. read more

I just went to this Take5 location. It was 7:15 pm when their hours are posted until 8:00 pm. I had the guy come out and tell me that because there was three cars in front of me, including the one that was already being worked on and that oil changes take 20 minutes, that the three cars that were already there was going to take them up until 8:00 which is when they close... Now, I am a restaurant server and we don't tell people that come into the restaurant at 10:55, five minutes before the restaurant closes at 11, that we stopped taking tables at 10:00 because it takes an hour to eat. That is not how businesses work. And I know that's not how this business works. He told me to talk to the manager, but why would I do that when the manager is probably on the same page that he is. So I emailed and called the corporate office and I'm waiting to hear back from them. These guys just wanted to be out by 8:00, completely disregarding the time that the business actually closes. This is totally unprofessional behavior. When a business closes at 8:00 the business itself closes at 8:00 and takes the people that are there waiting that have been there since before 8:00. Just because you as an employee want to get out at 8:00, doesn't mean that's always how it works. I was there 45 minutes before the location closed. This is completely unacceptable. Completely unprofessional. And the people that are working tonight Wednesday June 12th on the closing shift should all lose their jobs for their level of unprofessionalism. It works the same when you go to an amusement park, which we have plenty of in this city. If you get in the line for the ride 5 minutes before the park closes the people working that ride aren't going to tell you I'm sorry the line is 2 hours long so the line closed 2 hours ago so that people can get out of work on time. I stopped here for the first time to get an oil change and I will definitely be back. When I first pulled up, one of the workers came to my car to talk to me about what I needed done and he brought me a bottle of water to enjoy while I waited. All in all, the process was about 20 minutes or so, and it was a pretty good value as well! They topped off all of my fluids and checked my air filter as well and made sure I was satisfied with everything before I left. Are they quick? Yes, but that is where the positive feedback ends. $55 for a basic oil change seems a bit much, although I will acknowledge that there is a price to be paid for convenience. However, the attempts to upsell are disgusting. They actually had the audacity to say that my vehicle "really needs new wiper blades" when the current wiper blades on it had been replaced literally one week prior. With each refusal of a service they came back with yet another "thing" that my vehicle needed. After the first blatant lie I did not feel that I could trust anything they said. If a company is willing to lie about the little things then I fully expect them to be willing to lie about the big things also. The place didn't have any customers I. So I decided to stop in for an early morning oil change. I knew there was a 50/50 chance they would screw up my car but the ratings appeared to be fair enough. Most of the positive reviews online for this location must be fake. My car was leaking oil from the moment I left the location. I pulled into the parking lot next door after the oil change to check for leaks. I used a cardboard box under the car to check. After letting the car idle for 5 minutes there was a 25$ cent coin size puddle of oil on the ground. If your smart enough to find these reviews before taking your car here, avoid by all means and don't let them touch your car. Now I have to deal with whatever they messed up since my car never leaked oil before. read more

Take 5 claims and boasts that their oil changes are quick and take less than drinking a cup of coffee but that's a lie and false advertisement if you make your customers wait an hour and a half! And then to not inform your customers of the wait while other cars are now waiting behind you so you are stuck in line is outrageous. The management and employees of this store do not care about their customers. Don't waste your time at this location.
