Lawn service was requested. They overcharged me and did not provide all the services that came with…read morethe job. First of all, they cut my grass while it was raining and in the darkening evening, so they left a skid mark, tire tracks, and piles of cut grass throughout the yard. Odean did say he would come and finish picking up the grass. The next day during the daylight I observed my yard. They did not cut grass along the fence, along the house, or on the side- front yard( partly because they still had concrete laying in the grass from the subpar driveway job they did for me), there was rows of grass not cut, the yard was not edged up, and the bushes were not completely trimmed up. I contacted Odean and he thought he did a great job and only needed to pick up the grass he raked. I was "over it". I found another lawncare service for 94% less for the same thing they did. The rocks are still in the yard from June 15th. And I contacted him several times about removal.

He tried to get a hold of his boss, but he was in a meeting. Next day we call them and he said, 'we'll do another estimate' - so then another guy comes over, and he quoted $5,400 for half the work (2 trees versus 5) -- arguably more expensive than the $10,000 quote. Seriously? I need these trees dealt with before they cause a bigger issue (one was struck by lightning and already had a branch fall off). Well, they said they had some guy who was giving incorrect estimates that no longer works for the company. Does that sound like a reasonable story? A guy you employed was giving estimates, you were scheduling the jobs, and then, what? You fired him because you realized you can charge double to seniors in need of urgent work? By the way, we had another company that did more work for $3,400 -- arguably cheaper than your original "incorrect" quote. I guess legally you have the right to refuse to honor an estimate (although if one of your customers cancels you charge a 10% penalty - isn't that ironic?), and there was no bad outcome here (thankfully) other than a massive waste of our time. But frankly, there is dubious trustworthiness here... Related to which, why does your estimate form say you have a 5.0 Yelp rating when the actual rating is 4.3?
