As newbie owners, we went with a vinyl banner for two reasons: holds up to weather changes and, that it could still be easily removed and take with us for our next adventure- instead of the aluminum, permanent type store signage. Hubs and I had researched the town's ordinance on storefront signage and from there, we created the font at home, emailed it to San Signs then stopped in for a consult about material, size and color for a custom vinyl banner. And during the planning stage, their team had stopped by our shop to see how and where our sign would hang. And when the final reveal came, their techs arrived on-site fully equipped to get the install job done. San S. was a life saver when they created a black background with brassyish letters on an 8' sign for us back in the summer of '22. In late April '24 though, I picked up a much smaller sign for other future endeavors. San S. owner(?) kept things real and didn't bullshit about anything. I've had it for years in storage. It actually broke when I recently moved. I was kind of heartbroken because I've kept it around for so long and I finally had a place to hang up to make it look really cool. Anyway, the neon tubes had broken. I needed to find a place and I saw this establishment. I brought it there. They said they would take a look at it. Shouldn't be too big of a deal. I really thought I was gonna pay a ton of money to get it fixed because I know nothing about neon lights and tubing. When they called me with the quote to fix it I was so happy with price which was a fraction of what I thought it would be. I even more happy when I finally went to go pick it up and they actually gave me a little bit more of a discount. It took a long time but he finally put up the street pylon sign and signage decals on my doors. Again, it took a long time but I was ok with it. The work was great!! I understand the demands of business as a small business owner myself so I didn't stress the time it took. The last part of the project was for him to complete the signage for over my storefront. I have had a banner since opening in December and really need the storefrontsign. We spoke on the phone a few days before memorial day and he said he would "try" to get the sign up by the following weekend. I noticed the term try which made me think it wasn't happening the following week. Cool because I figured in a few weeks he would complete the job. After a few weeks i called and there was no answer at the business. I emailed for a timeline and update no response. I called over and over again no responses. I after calling with no answer I had my husband call and he asked for John but the man who answered said John was not in.I hate to say but I I think it was John who answered. If he or they were unable to complete the work they should have said so so I could find another option. Its terrible of to start something professionally you are unwilling to finish and the killer for mep is the lack of response. I'm very unhappy and disappointed I started with speedpro.
