The owner was very friendly and comically had a sniff of the meat. He gave me with very specific instructions as to how to cook it. Unfortunately, since the business got sold and had a change in owners, things have gone downhill big time. The sausages are far from what they used to be. Casings are not properly closed, they don't taste the same and their Wienerle look wrinkly and outright unappetizing + they are oversmoked. Very sad to see an institution go downhill and change that quickly from being an authentic German butcher to being a subpar spot that has none of the craftsmanship and quality that they used to have. My child had multiple fillings and chose the anesthesia route after discussing with the Doctor due to the amount of work. The billing staff identified a "deposit" to hold the appointment which they said would be credited to the final bill. It was not until after the procedure we were told (and shown a blank form we never signed) that it was a non-refundable office expense. Dr Delaney is part of our dental plan (Metlife) and they refused to submit the extra cost (as it not permitted as part of their contract with Metlife Dental). After much complaining, they to the billing department they finally submitted to insurance, but over inflated the cost from $300 to $1300. We identified the issue to the billing and they "re-submitted" the claim 2x times for the same $1300 amount. Billing department was completely unhelpful and actually became aggressive when we asked them to submit to Metlife properly. We paid over $700 out of pocket for covered expenses which they refused to properly bill. Just beware if it more than a routine checkup, watch out for artificial and over-inflated out of pocket costs.
