Great place to get a camper. Our first one was totaled and they were the bomb at helping us get a new one.

So, any time you deal with someone in Youngstown you proceed with caution. This was my first camper…read morerental experience and I admit I was a little skeptical. I questioned Chris thoroughly. Chris was surprisingly professional and knowledgeable! I told him I needed a camper to drive my mother-in-law, fun, and wife to see my just born Granchild in North Carolina. He told me he had "Minnie Winnie" available. I reserved it. I went through his website to reserve it because that is best deal on insurance rates that way. When I picked up the camper it was filled with gas, ready to roll, super clean and fully stocked with all kinds of camping amenities! I didn't need all the amenities because we had a house to stay in but, they are there for who needs them. Chris went through everything in detail. Pay attention when he talks so you don't miss anything. Everything in the camper worked! A thousand miles in "Minnie Winnie" and the only thing that gave me trouble was my Mother-in Law. The camper drove good and handled well. I am very picky with driving comfort. I'd rate Minnie an 8. For 500 miles a day she is fine. I got out with no issues As a reference I'm 57 250lbs. Almost 6'. Wife didn't like how driver seats don't recline but, that's not a deal breaker. Minnie is comfortable but, I'm not sure I'd want to do a thousand miles in a day. The V-10 Ford engine is known for bad mpg. I was dreading how much I would spend on gas. But, it wasn't terrible. I did the speed limits 70mph and that will reduce mpg but, we only spent around $500. Compared to plane tickets we saved! Overall, this experience was outstanding! If I rent a camper again I'll be calling Gallagher RVs for sure!

Our first time in an rv, after going through a tropical storm then a nor'easter we were a bit frazzled when we got back. We forgot a lot of stuff in the rv, Chris shipped it all back to us right away. Ran like a champ even thru all the terrible weather. Here's a picture before the weather got bad.

I reserved a 30ft Cruise America Motorhome via internet in advance to take a 4 day weekend trip…read morewith my family of 6 and go to a Nascar Race in Bristol Tennessee. My family and I go to about 5 races each year. The Cruise America Motorhome was ready when I arrived, however, the gentleman 'Ed" behind the counter seemed unhelpful and 'slow' in expediting my paperwork and didn't really seem interested in moving off his chair as I feel he should when a customer is wanting service. My paperwork was completed and I was immediately brought to the awaiting motorhome right outside the door. A pleasant young woman introduced herself and explained in great detail the outside and inside features of the 30ft. Cruise America Motorhome. Unbeknownst to her, I have previously rented Cruise America Motorhomes from the Airport location and knew these features, but I followed her lead patiently around the motorhome, listening attentively, expecting to learn something new perhaps. This motorhome was extremely clean, inside and out, what a nice surprise! She also explained the road assistance (in case of a flat tire e.g.) from Cruise America's Road Side Assistance program. As we entered the Motorhome, the inside was unbelievably clean for 96,000+ miles as compared to the CA motorhome rentals I have gotten in the past from a nearby location with a lot less mileage. The control panel was fully functional indicating the black & grey water levels, battery, propane, and water contents. Everything inside was operational and in great condition, which made our trip that much more enjoyable. Additionally, we previewed all the Cruise America videos from the Cruise America website to obtain any new information about the rental. The employee was knowledgeable, patient, and sweet throughout the explanations. As expected from Cruise America's policy, prior to bringing it back to this location, we cleaned the motorhome after our trip and had no issues dropping it to this location on a Sunday night. Our family had a wonderful trip and no issues with this motorhome. I would definitely rent another motorhome ONLY from this location; the cleanliness, prompt MH service, and personal attention we received will make it easy for us to rent another motorhome from the Miley location for our upcoming Nascar races.....GREAT EXPERIENCE

General RV is the first and only RV lot that we have ever set foot on. When we walked on the lot, we were expecting to deal with the typical "car salesman" trying to sell us something that we didn't need. Our salesman was not pushy, but very informative, sharing from his experience and taking the time to understand what we were looking for. After the purchase, we found a leak that did not get caught in the pressure-test (we found out about it the very evening that we brought the trailer home) and the Service Department was quick to resolve the issue. From our salesman to the staff that familiarized us with the trailer to the service representative that I was working with, and even the guy behind the counter at the store (I wound up substantially upgrading a purchase because I felt that I could trust his advice)... the people at General went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied and were informed about the products or services that they were addressing with us.

Our purchase was made November of 2025, and we have yet to travel with it. To begin with the 2 hour demo was a waste of time. The employee continually told us he didn't know how things worked in our RV because it wasn't like his. After 20 minutes of this, the 'demo' was stopped Because it was a waste of time, and not helpful. So, on to service to get a recall done, and the things that we pointed out to our salesman. To this day the recall isn't done because they don't have the part. They claim it hasn't been released by the Winnebago, and they also claim that it has been sent, but they have no tracking. So, really not quite sure of the reason. Also, the broken passenger seat won't be fixed because the salesman forgot to write it on the purchase paper. None of the latches on the doors outside are working correctly, one is broken, and it will be fixed at our expense of over $300. Had the demo gone according to plan, these latches would have been tested then. There are now two recalls, a broken latch, and stuck latches on the rest of the doors. We are 8 months into this, with 3 useless appointments where we took the RV for repairs that they claimed they had the parts for it, but they actually didn't, many talks with the service department manger, and a call to corporate that assured us action would be taken. We are now in July, summer half over, with a beautiful RV sitting in storage, and we are making payments each month for something we are not able to use because the one recall makes it not safe to drive until it is fixed. The day of purchase we were assured that recall would be done in the next couple of weeks. I guess 8, going on 9 months, seems reasonable to folks not needing it done. We do not recommend this place, unless you are able to get the parts and service your camper yourself.
