Loved this place! What a sweet little campground…read more This campground is right next to the interstate, and so a very convenient spot to stay on the road. We made a reservation that day (it seemed pretty packed early October so we got the last available spot). The staff here were very friendly, and we didn't have to pay until we arrived at the site. It was so affordable! With a Good Sam discount, our one night stay amounted to just ~$34! We were very happy with the price, which included full hook-ups (+ cable TV), a shower house, and a swimming pool (? I think). The next morning, we had our propane filled at that site and left. The owners here were very thoughtful and organized. Thought the campground wasn't very big, when we drove in, the owner had us follow her in her golf cart so we knew exactly where to pull in and how to park our extra truck. Will come back again!

They are dog friendly and have a dog park with poop bags. The office and tv room, with great a/c and fan and lots of dvds and books is perfect. The bathrooms are immaculate but the showers are tiny, i'm 5'6" size 4, I felt cramped, use the handicap bathroom for a shower. The spots are level on packed rock drive thrus. I'd give Duck Creek RV Park 5 stars if there were trees. Otherwise, this is a great RV park.

The staff here is absolutely amazing and kind. If you have questions or needs they try to help all that they can. We had a spot that has a water issue and they attended to us immediately and gave us a different spot and checked to make sure we were good to go. Yes there is interstate noise but by about 9pm it's not noticeable and didn't keep us or our fur kids awake. Yes, there is a few businesses across the street. One makes some noise on the weekdays during business hrs. Nothing to be uptight about. We have loved the dog park. Great way to get some of the puppy energy ran out. They have bags for easy clean up. They have a small inventory of quick foods you can cook. Propane on site. Now these are Full Hook up sites but if you're on your way out you can stop at the dump station. Lighten up your load. There are a few areas to entertain the young ones and older ones alike. There are fire pits to rent they only ask that you NOT put it on the grass only the gravel. Why burn up the grass?!! There is a pavilion that is open 24/7 that has a full sized stove and tables with chairs. Oh and the table tennis table. They have a pool that closes mid September. The grounds are kept nice and clean and the bathrooms have showers. The laundry room is clean and awesome. If your are able to visit this gem of a place tell the staff hello and let them know how much you appreciate all they do. Thank you Clarksville RV Resort.

The pool was dirty for the entire duration of our visit, and the area around the pool frequently smelled like garbage, which made it unpleasant to use. The atmosphere was not particularly welcoming, as many of the people we encountered seemed unfriendly. One of the biggest issues was that our site's too close to our neighbor's dump connection. There's about 3' between their dump and our RV. The dump covers were cracked, allowing sewage odors to escape. The smell was noticeable until we covered the area ourselves. We were also told to move our second vehicle because someone complained, despite seeing many other campers with multiple vehicles parked on their sites, including some parked on the grass. The inconsistent enforcement of the rules was frustrating. Overall, we expected a cleaner, more welcoming environment and more consistent management of campground policies.

Since the owner decided to block my last review, I'll put one here. I can see the review, but…read morenobody else can. So the park itself ain't to bad. The new owner is what makes it bad. My wife and I moved in in June of '22 and stayed till June of '23 while I was working. The new owner took over and jacked everything up. The rent, the power cost, the laundry cost and the convenience fee. When we moved in the rent was 400 plus electricity. After we was "grandfathered in" our rent was 450. Cheap compared to what others was paying, but the point is,is they lied and jacked the rent. The power went from .15 cents a kwh to .22 cents. The laundry went from 1.25 to 2.50. The owner stopped the trash pickup, which was 2 large dumpsters and went with one small one. It would fill up in a couple days to where it would over flow and fall to the ground. The other trash company didn't pick up their dumpsters for two months. They sat there full in the heat. The owner would send out threating emails saying if we didn't hold our trash until the dumpster was empty, then he would cancel pickup. He cried about items that people put in the dumpster. The power connection was jacked. The first spot we moved to had wood broke off in the outlet and the second one had loose breakers and constantly lost power. We never knew what the rent was going to be. Many other reviews say they cheated on the meter reading, so they could charge more. I believe it. I heat with propane and was paying close to 300 bucks in power for the winter. The propane cost is unreal at the park. You couldn't get your tanks filled right away, you had to wait till the manager decides to do it. The lots needed new gravel put down, which made them a muddy mess. Most of the underpinning rules was ridiculous. When we left there was no prorated rent. We paid a month and stayed two weeks. We put a 100 dollar power deposit when we moved in and got 14 dollars back. So they charged 80 dollars for two weeks and 50 for last month. The so called on-site gym is a stationary bike in the laundry room. The internet was ok when we moved in,but the owner quickly turned that off. This has to be most knit picking place we've ever stayed. The only good thing about this place,is it was close to work and to town. If I'm ever back in town for work,we won't stay here.

We haven't had issues with electrical or water and is has never cut out at all as I've heard that in some places that is the case. It's actually pretty decent pricing and if you have a good Sam's membership they give you a discount saving you quite a bit especially if you're staying for multiple nights and this adds up. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the washer and dryer's the washers are fine but we had to spend extra money for the dryer to dry our clothes but in reality it was a large load so maybe if you do a smaller load it won't be so bad. Did not try the shower facilities so I cannot speak on that. And they do have a playground for the kids but the playground is a little unstable and coming apart so I may become unsafe at some point. Other than that we haven't had any issues and overall it's quiet. Would suggest!

Upon arriving, we were 30 minutes early, Central Time, so we didn't get to check in yet, though I think we still got checked in prior to 4pm. That was fine. We came from Eastern Time Zone, Sunnyside of Louisville. I had requested a view of lake when I made reservations. A view of the marina was the best they could do, I guess. Upon entering our smoke free room, I found an ashtray full of butts and a lighter on our balcony. I get the rooms are smoke free and perhaps balcony can be utilized for smoking, but why leave butts and lighter on balcony? I called the front desk regarding this and they said they would address it. I then found a credit card, gift card and a pill in one of the drawers. I gave those items to the young lady I met earlier at the front desk. My wife asked her where we could get ice and she said she didn't know. Back to that later. We ate dinner prior to arriving at the "Resort" since we had time to kill. We ate at Little Dave's which was fine. See my review on that establishment. The pool was open when we arrived but closed not long after. We drove around the "Resort" park and found the beach was closed with No Swimming signs posted. Hmm. There is a trend started here. Wifey and I like playing mini golf and sometimes disk golf when we visit State parks. It was quite hot during our stay so we went to play a relaxed game of mini golf our first night just after sunset. We could see during the first half of the course and saw a maintenance person drive up, get out of the cart and appear to go to a power box of some sort on the opposite side of the course we were at. Wifey asked me to ask him if he could put the lights on, but I didn't feel like yelling to him and told my wife he saw us and would surely put lights on if they worked. Nope. Wrong answer. We played the second half of game in the dark. The following day we learned the pool was closed for maintenance. The trend continues. We decided to get out of dodge and the "Resort" to find something to do. Apparently, there used to be a Nature Center on the "Resort," but no longer. No pool, no beach and the mini golf course needed cleanup from debris on it. I stopped by the front desk, told the young lady where guests could find ice and her mature co-worker agreed with my comment. I then asked if the mini golf course lights were inoperable. I was told they should work. I said we would play later on when we returned from a day out of the "Resort," if the lights were on. We visited Leitchfield and had a fair day shopping and dining at Bluegrass BBQ. You can read that review also. We didn't care to try the restaurant on the "Resort" since everything was trending negative, plus the Park's restaurant was voted last for dining in the area. Go figure. When we arrived back from our trip to Leitchfield, we saw the lights were already on, though it was still light out. I thought perhaps the trend is getting better, but wait for it. When we went to golf, my wife said it looks like they cut the grass around the mini golf course. She was correct. It was clear they cut the grass, because the grass was blown all over the debris that was still present from the day before. That course could be nice with a little TLC. I thought to ask the front desk for a blower to help out the maintenance people, but didn't. I figured the answer would be no. I had been told a work order needed to go in to get the lights on at the mini golf course. I'd like to say the AC worked fine in the room. The flashing lights also worked in the room all night. You may want to bring dark blinders when it is time to sleep. My wife said the flashing lights were like fireworks going off all night. If you are a tall person, be prepared to hunch down to get under the shower head and bend way over to use the sink. Who decides where to install things at this "Resort?" Our last item to mention before ending this review is on our way back from the mini golf course, the light for the walkway between parking lot and our room was out. My wife said, "It is aweful dark on this walkway." I told her the LED light on top of the pole is out. Perhaps they need some more maintenance people or a new supervisor. I wasn't even looking for things at this "Resort," but they stuck out like sore thumbs. My wife and I have visited every Indiana State Park with lodging and several Kentucky State Parks with lodging. This one is hands-down the worst. Calling it a "Resort," is laughable. I think if I came to go boating, it may be a bit of a different perspective, but I feel a little reluctant to rent a boat at the State Park due to the trend it displays. Hopefully, the Park superintendent, or whatever they are called, can address these issues so future visitors have a better stay.
