Been waiting 2 weeks to write this review. Why? We wanted to experience all there was here so that…read moreour review would be informative and true. The staff here is absolutely amazing and kind. If you have questions or needs they try to help all that they can. We had a spot that has a water issue and they attended to us immediately and gave us a different spot and checked to make sure we were good to go. Yes there is interstate noise but by about 9pm it's not noticeable and didn't keep us or our fur kids awake. Yes, there is a few businesses across the street. One makes some noise on the weekdays during business hrs. Nothing to be uptight about. We have loved the dog park. Great way to get some of the puppy energy ran out. They have bags for easy clean up. They have a small inventory of quick foods you can cook. Propane on site. Now these are Full Hook up sites but if you're on your way out you can stop at the dump station. Lighten up your load. There are a few areas to entertain the young ones and older ones alike. There are fire pits to rent they only ask that you NOT put it on the grass only the gravel. Why burn up the grass?!! There is a pavilion that is open 24/7 that has a full sized stove and tables with chairs. Oh and the table tennis table. They have a pool that closes mid September. The grounds are kept nice and clean and the bathrooms have showers. The laundry room is clean and awesome. If your are able to visit this gem of a place tell the staff hello and let them know how much you appreciate all they do. Thank you Clarksville RV Resort.

We stayed at Clarksville RV Resort for 6 days and were disappointed with several aspects of our…read morestay. The pool was dirty for the entire duration of our visit, and the area around the pool frequently smelled like garbage, which made it unpleasant to use. The atmosphere was not particularly welcoming, as many of the people we encountered seemed unfriendly. One of the biggest issues was that our site's too close to our neighbor's dump connection. There's about 3' between their dump and our RV. The dump covers were cracked, allowing sewage odors to escape. The smell was noticeable until we covered the area ourselves. We were also told to move our second vehicle because someone complained, despite seeing many other campers with multiple vehicles parked on their sites, including some parked on the grass. The inconsistent enforcement of the rules was frustrating. Overall, we expected a cleaner, more welcoming environment and more consistent management of campground policies.

It's a sunburn ride away from Woodlawn...I definitely got that today! Our friends ordered BBQ sandwiches with slaw. No one offered them napkins, BUT I am an always be prepared kinda lady and had Charmin wet wipes in our tour pack. Ya never know! The BBQ, AMAZING! It always is. There is a campground/RV park in behind the bar and General Store. Very clean and well maintained. I've stayed there a couple of nights in the past. I've been told that on Tuesday's they have an amazing steak dinner. I've never been there for that, but I'm looking forward very much to trying it soon. Of course, in my Yelp Elite fashion, I will update my review!

The owner Mary was very accommodating to our family and always very warm and welcoming when we stopped in the store. All the campers were the same. We were tent camping but Mary let us set up in front of a rental camper so we could use the electric to charge to boat and she was even gave us access to the camper to use the restroom and wash our dishes. She ever notified us that a neighboring camper was putting their camper up for sale and was just what we were looking for. We are now considering buying the camper and having a place up there of our own.

The marina is excellently maintained. Everyone around is so friendly. We just had a few hiccups. We booked our reservation the same day around noon so totally understand that it's last minute but we also didn't check in until around 7pm giving them more than enough time to ensure a clean cabin. However they didn't have our reserved cabin cleaned and the one next to it was "clean and ready" but upon getting inside we found tons of dead bugs and mold! Not just in the bathroom but also on the walls at a height where a kiddo or toddler could touch it or be exposed. To me this is unacceptable and a health hazard. We totally understand these are cabins in the woods but there were several empty units amongst us that were unoccupied and I can only hope they aren't dealing with the same level of mold. The only other thing we experienced that was negative was we rented a golf cart for $50 a day for one day but it kept dying even when the battery gauge read as fully operable. We broke down on day one and broke down again on our checkout day and had to leave the cart at another site. I'm hoping Prizer will be accommodating and comp us a future use of one day for the cart issues as I didn't request a refund but also didn't have time to resolve before checkout. The housekeeping manager and all the staff were apologetic and extremely professional which is why we will definitely still give Prizer a chance in the future. So all in all I would be wary of the cabins but everything else seemed well. Next visit we will be booking a bungalow on the water or bring an RV.

After waiting an hour, the "manager" said this sort of thing never happens. She preceded to find me a duplex for the night and asked me to pay for it. I told her it wasn't exactly fair that my room was no longer available, and I had to pay for another one. She finally gave me to room for the night which was filthy. If someone could just clean the bird poop or perhaps use a blower to clean up around the cabins, that would make a huge difference. The next day we rented a boat, and the boat stopped working 10 minutes into our trip. We did get a new boat after an hour of waiting. This place does not care about wasting your time or reimbursing you when they are in the wrong. I would never recommend this dirty place to anyone. It is not well managed and nothing is consistent. Such a disappointment with all the money we spent. We were given the run around and no one was apologetic for all the mistakes that happened.
