Came on an early Friday afternoon so it was busy but not overwhelmingly so. Lots of age ranges (ours was the littlest but the big kids were very respectful) and so many fun water features that cater to a wide array of ages and comfort levels. Very clean and well cared for with plenty of shady picnic tables adjacent to the splash pad. Once we finished getting soaked (parents who need to be near their little one, note you will absolutely get drenched) we tried off in the playground which was also top notch. Lots of cool features and again, clean and cared for. When we needed a break from the sunny swings, there were more shaded picnic tables next to a huge grassy field. The charcoal grills are also huge. You could spend a whole day here, easy. I can't wait to come back for more fun memories!

Still even on the weekends the park never seems to be over crowded. Even in the heat of summer the water features next to the playground are in use but not swarmed. Lots of nice businesses nearby you can walk to so a great location all around. Certainly one of the premier parks in the local area.

This is one of the best designed playgrounds we've been to (and he played on) so far out of the dozen or so playgrounds that we've been to. A large playground with lots of well designed climbing and slides and everything is smooth and well rounded with hardly any sharp corners or edges. I would give this place a 5 but I need to leave room in case we find something better. Say a 4+ star and highly recommended.

Pecos Park is a beautiful park off 96th and Pecos. The grass is so lush and green, it puts other…read moreparks to shame. There is a nice pavilion with the playground nearby. There are 4 regular swings and 2 infant swings. The playground looks pretty new. There are picnic tables underneath the shady trees next to the playground. There were younger kids at the playground and teenagers at the pavilions and everyone was happy and not bothering anyone. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely come back.
