They were quick with a response through Yelp and even followed up with me directly before reaching out to my grandmother. Not only were they thorough in explaining the estimate and repair process, they followed up multiple times to try and schedule an appointment -- only wish grandma would have put in her hearing aids a little sooner to answer their calls! Ultimately, she decided that purchasing a new vinyl recliner might be more frugal but is looking forward to having them come out and repair a leather recliner once she's got her new furniture delivered. This job included refinishing the table and chairs, which also meant that the seat cushions from this set would be fitted with new foam and upholstery. That's where Larry's Custom F&U comes into the picture. The person that worked on our table had dropped the seat cushions off at Larry's and told us that we would need to make arrangements with him in order to stop by and choose the color and pattern of the upholstery that we would like for our dinette set. When we finally did make it by the shop and met Larry, we were taken by what a very nice, easy to work with gentleman he is. When the seat cushions were finished with and we picked them up from LCF&U we were very impressed with how outstanding they looked and how well the job had come out. A month later, after looking around for a new living room couch and not being at all satisfied with the choices that we were coming across, we decided to take the same route with our current couch that we had with our dinette set and have it reupholstered. So obviously, after having just worked with Larry we knew that we were going to have him do this job for us. Fortunately for us, our first impression of Larry was spot on. He was absolutely great. He let my wife bring home several of his upholstery fabric sample books so that she would be able to take her time and to make the right choice for our tired out old couch. Larry had our couch over the Christmas holidays, which took a little longer to get the job completed than it typically would have, and he was completely upfront with us and told us right from the start that this would be the case. But, boy, oh boy was the completed job ever worth the wait! Our couch came out just phenomenally. When you sit on it, it's so obvious that it has been refurbished with quality materials and also a job completed with true master craftsmanship. All at a fair savings over buying a new piece of furniture.
