It wasn't until we were in Jacksonville (away from family & new to the area) that I found myself needing to board her. After WEEKS of searching different facilities, I choose PAWVILLE. Saying I was a MESS leaving her there was an understatement. I cried leaving her. The facility was beautiful, well kept, secure & the staff was friendly (again, just me being an over protective parent). I Bella stayed for 6 days. I received pictures of my baby and the staff was patient with me, when I'd call to check on her. Needless to say, I cried ALOT when I picked up my baby. She was happy to see me and she was fine. A lil confused, but she was fine and well cared for. I ended up using PAWVILLE a.few times while we were in Jacksonville. Fast forward 4 years & back in San Diego I recently rescued another dog & need to board him (here we go again). My thoughts, "its San Diego, this will be easy." The bar PAWVILLE instilled in my needs for boarding is beyond measure. I miss the facility & the comfort I found in knowing my furchild was safe. It started with the report card pictures, I noticed that he was becoming very thin. He was sent with a bag of 18lb bag of dog food and I signed and paid for them to feed him the food they had when he ran out. I noticed marks on him unsure if it was from them or their dogs, one picture you can see blood on his paw and never once did they say anything about him being hurt. He also came back home flinching really bad, when I would go to simply pet him he would duck. When we got him back home and started feeding him like his normal again he fatten up back to normal very fast. He also has became aggressive when we bathe him with the shower head (he bit my friend while she was bathing him) when he used to not be till he went to pawville.

Animal house staff have always taken great care of my baby both during is long stays and grooming sessions. Recently got him groomed for the first time this summer and had an incredible experience. Staff took great care of his undercoat along with being able to manage getting his nails trimmed which I know can be a task in itself. Very timely service dropped him off in the morning they had him finished and ready to go in just a few houses.

The bad I recently boarded her for a week and 2 days after she got home she went for her regular checkup and rabies shot. I was called and told she had hookworm She's now on medication Since they are highly contagious called to let Animal house know and they said sorry to hear that No no one else has reported hookworm. .My dog's only contact with other dogs is there. Plus I believe others should have been notified to.test their dogs.I do know from watching their camera that their kennels are washed down but in open social areas anything can happen.

My dog doesn't even look back at us when we drop her off here. She enjoys her day here. I appreciate the photos that are posted of my dog's day at day care. I was in the area for a month and needed boarding and daycare during the month. I felt safe leaving my dog here while I was out of town. The boarding service was so great we decided to bring her for daycare. The price and service are exceptional compared to a few overpriced places I've used in major metropolitan areas with me leaving wondering if they even know my dog's name. We also booked grooming here after boarding. They did a great job. We have also used their "refresher" service after a daycare day. I highly recommend. $25 and my pup came so fresh and so clean, clean.

We had to take an important and unfortunately pet free trip out of town for 2 weeks. My dogs don't…read morenormally go to daycare. They are usually with me 24/7. My lab has major separation anxiety and my shepherd is very dog reactive to anyone who isn't her brother. So you can imagine how sick to my stomach I was to leave them behind, let alone with a stranger in a strange place. I was worried they'd feel abandoned. Would they care for my babies the way I do at home? Are they out for my money expensive? Where do I even take them? Cue my friends referral to Buddies! Great staff treats my dogs like family More than fair pricing multiple locations within the area daily photo updates of my dogs on FB expectations exceeded! I was able to watch my dogs have an absolute blast with the staff at buddies throught their pixtures on Facebook! Running around, playing! Not cowering in fear or aggression like I was worried about. The groomer did not cut her snout area and tail even at all. Her face looks raggedy and jagged, making her look more a Schnauzer than either of her breeds. This makes me upset and I will be looking for a new groomer because this is not cool. My experience most other times have been somewhat decent but this one definitely takes the cake for me.

Both our dogs were excessively trimmed on the inner part of their hind legs. One of them so bad it looks and feels like it's chafed and the dog keeps licking it like an injury. This has never happened before. The groomer should've let us know they shaved too close. Really unfortunate. Our dogs actually enjoyed coming here. We may need to find a new place for dog grooming.

To say they were a hit is like saying it's hot here in the summer! The cookies went over very well as dis the toys. They were so worn out from playing with the toys that they were asleep well before bed time. I will definitely be going back.
