It wasn't until we were in Jacksonville (away from family & new to the area) that I found myself needing to board her. After WEEKS of searching different facilities, I choose PAWVILLE. Saying I was a MESS leaving her there was an understatement. I cried leaving her. The facility was beautiful, well kept, secure & the staff was friendly (again, just me being an over protective parent). I Bella stayed for 6 days. I received pictures of my baby and the staff was patient with me, when I'd call to check on her. Needless to say, I cried ALOT when I picked up my baby. She was happy to see me and she was fine. A lil confused, but she was fine and well cared for. I ended up using PAWVILLE a.few times while we were in Jacksonville. Fast forward 4 years & back in San Diego I recently rescued another dog & need to board him (here we go again). My thoughts, "its San Diego, this will be easy." The bar PAWVILLE instilled in my needs for boarding is beyond measure. I miss the facility & the comfort I found in knowing my furchild was safe. It started with the report card pictures, I noticed that he was becoming very thin. He was sent with a bag of 18lb bag of dog food and I signed and paid for them to feed him the food they had when he ran out. I noticed marks on him unsure if it was from them or their dogs, one picture you can see blood on his paw and never once did they say anything about him being hurt. He also came back home flinching really bad, when I would go to simply pet him he would duck. When we got him back home and started feeding him like his normal again he fatten up back to normal very fast. He also has became aggressive when we bathe him with the shower head (he bit my friend while she was bathing him) when he used to not be till he went to pawville.

People who came back to visit, brought their previous puppies and even told us, we are coming back to get a second dog because we had a good experience. Recently, I stopped by the Jacksonville location to look at another Goldendoodle. I asked a few questions about the puppy, including the weight of the parents, whether the dog was F1 or F1B, and where the puppy was bred. One of the girls helping us was friendly and answered the questions. After finding out the puppy would likely be smaller than what we were hoping for, I told her that it probably wasn't the right fit for us. Because of that, I asked if we could look at a Labrador instead. At that point, another employee responded rather abruptly and said, "You have to be serious, if you're just here to play, you can only look at one." The comment felt unnecessary and a bit rude. I had asked detailed questions about the first dog because I was genuinely interested, but once I realized the expected adult weight didn't meet what we were looking for, I simply wanted to look at another option. I think it would have been much more appropriate for her to ask whether we were seriously looking to adopt a dog rather than immediately insinuating that we were just there to play with the puppies. The way it was said felt more like a jab than a policy explanation. It was disappointing because we had such a positive experience with the Wilmington location, I've also been to the Jacksonville location before, and they were very friendly and I expected a similar level of professionalism and friendliness. On top of visiting, we've gotten a dog already there and that shows that we are not only visitors, but we could've been second time customers.

These are puppy mill pups and NOT purebred at all. Charging you thousands for a dog that you can buy the sibling of for a few hundred. They don't have paperwork for the parents, nor do they do any genetic or health testing. Animal house staff have always taken great care of my baby both during is long stays and grooming sessions. Recently got him groomed for the first time this summer and had an incredible experience. Staff took great care of his undercoat along with being able to manage getting his nails trimmed which I know can be a task in itself. Very timely service dropped him off in the morning they had him finished and ready to go in just a few houses.

I was called and told she had hookworm She's now on medication Since they are highly contagious called to let Animal house know and they said sorry to hear that No no one else has reported hookworm. .My dog's only contact with other dogs is there. Plus I believe others should have been notified to.test their dogs.I do know from watching their camera that their kennels are washed down but in open social areas anything can happen.

My girls a had a ton of fun but didn't even sniff the entire Park, it's so big. It's fenced in and safe, but there is not a large and small dogs section. I don't see that as an issue, I'd like the opportunity for my dogs to meet smaller dogs and learn how to play with them appropriately. There are fun obstacles to train on but there are hardly ever other dogs there. Maybe I'm just going at the "wrong time" but it's usually empty. Lots of puddles and some mud if it has rained recently, but I brought a towel and that was no issue. Gives your dog a place to get a drink!

Manners are taught, yes even to dogs. It is just one large rectangle. Dog parks are supposed to have paths, ponds maybe... And be ALOT bigger than this. Don't go here after it rains, either. Pathetically muddy, you won't be clean either. -two weeks later, we try to give it a try again. Same thing just happened. I walked in and got a completely muddy shirt from the dogs jumping on me. We returned and found a wonderful dachshund and Pekingese! A side note; we had Pekingese for our children growing up because they are smart and loyal which is where I learned to love them. Finding them now was very difficult but P.W. found them! Our pups were healthy and up on "puppy shots " and seen by a familiar local vet. They were clean and happy and transitioned well to their new forever home. The staff has always been great and helpful. We have consistently referred people to P.W. and will continue to do so.

The cookies & treats on the bars smelled so good I wanted to eat rhem myself! I bought several toys for the boy and his sisters and both bagged & by the ounce cookies for our furbabies. To say they were a hit is like saying it's hot here in the summer! The cookies went over very well as dis the toys. They were so worn out from playing with the toys that they were asleep well before bed time. I will definitely be going back. Oh, I didn't get the name of the young lady at the counter but she had a bubbly and friendly personality. Both our dogs were excessively trimmed on the inner part of their hind legs. One of them so bad it looks and feels like it's chafed and the dog keeps licking it like an injury. This has never happened before. The groomer should've let us know they shaved too close. Really unfortunate. Our dogs actually enjoyed coming here. We may need to find a new place for dog grooming.

She lifted, unassisted, our 130 lb pit Bull into her PET TRANSPORT VAN. This is one helluva strong woman! My 88 year old Father, himself a retired US Marine, rode in the van with his fur baby, his pit Bull. Mari stayed with us until the dog was on a gurney and safely taken into the care of the ER vet techs. God bless you, Mari, for your compassion and care for sick animals. I highly recommend SEMPER FI PET TRANSPORT.
