My 600th Review!!! I went here today 4/8/25 to check this place out. There is another Mongolian Grill across the street that I was at last week. So I wanted to try this one. I was so glad I stopped in here. The hostess and server ladies were really sweet workers here. The place is clean inside and out, including men's restroom. I like that the price for weekday lunch from 11 am to 4 pm is $12.99. You pick all the foods and sauces and the guy grills it for you! It's also all you can eat! I had 3 plates as I needed the proteins and sea food and the spinach leaf lettuce and zucchini noodles. For the proteins I had chicken, beef, and Pork. For fish I had pollock and Crab. I had a few favorite sauces I put on including the Teriyaki, peanut, chili, ginger, sesame, and sweet chili. I also added egg drop soup for 99 cents more and I was given a free refill of this. The white rice is free, but you would have to pay extra for fried rice. Salad is also an add on for 99 cents if you wish. I just had water to wash it all down. Overall, this was a great place and I was comfortably full. I would definitely come back here again!!! read more

Really enjoyable meal. I visited on Memorial Day so the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful as this was the first time I ate there. It's an all you can eat Mongolian grill compared to Genghis Grill where I used to frequent when I lived in Albuquerque. They off appetizers and a free bowl of white rice if desired. The selection of meats, vegetables, and sauces was excellent and the food was cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. I would recommend giving this place a try next time you're visiting Lincoln. read more

My husband and I loved this place; we've been coming here since 2010, and we frequently visit the other location on Pine Lake. We were in the area and decided to get some food to go. This used to be our go-to location, but it has gone down hill. It needs some serious TLC. I get that the last couple of years have been rough on small businesses, but the owners are doing themselves a disservice by not making desperately needed upgrades to this location. I can overlook old, but dirty and bad food cannot be ignored. The food yesterday was terrible; it tasted old. The sauces tasted completely watered down, no flavor, at all. I have never been treated so rudely by anyone as I was today. im 69 years old and they stuck me in a booth next to the kitchen. the ddoor was slamming open all the time. First time eating out in Lincoln sice the new face mask requirements... The staff here was nice and explained everything The Good: The food is good as it always is at HuHot since you prepare your meals. The staff helped by putting all the selected items in the bowl for you including the sauces and was happy to help. Our waitress was upbeat, funny and very helpful! The Bad: We were told if 2 bowls are wanted to complete our order we could request that and would be accommodated. Sadly the the servers at the line told me only one bowl per person and insisted on that only to see other people getting their food behind me in line able to have 2 bowls at a time :( my wife's egg drop soup tasted like it came from a can and not enjoyable at all. I'm still a new believer to HuHot grills. However, I've been to a couple in the Iowa area, and I normally can expect decent food that I can make to my own preferences. I find it insanely expensive for what it is (I know it's "all you can eat", but I can only usually eat two plates, so it ends up being about $7 per plate for me, and that seems particularly high for what I end up making), so I don't end up eating at HuHot too often. I wasn't so fond of this location. The place was very clean, and they had both booth and table seating. The waitress was pleasant and while the grill warriors weren't too energetic, they were friendly and were quite efficient. My biggest complaint was really the way my food tasted, though. I'm not sure if it's the grill (with contamination from past orders) or the sauce, but my food was SPICY hot. Considering I only put on the no-spice sauce (Khan's Favorite), and my food has never been spicy at any other HuHot, I have to admit to being a bit confused and disappointed. I thought that maybe it was contamination to the sauce itself, but I tried both versions of their Khan's Favorite, and they both were spicy. That leads me to believe that it maybe has something to do with the grill instead. Either way, having such spicy food with no way to really "eat" what I normally eat at HuHot kinda ruined my experience. I'd come back again as the place itself wasn't bad, but if the spiciness issue happened again, I'd probably have to assume that it's the location - which is unfortunate as I do enjoy eating at HuHot from time to time. Still definitely a good place to check-out if you enjoy spicier food - and maybe even if you don't. My experience might have been a fluke. read more

Excellent. Love the chain and this one did not disappoint. Staff cooking was great and entertaining. Waitstaff was average but okay. Went to Hu Hot tonight on the advice of a random customer at work. Said he had gone there recently and it was great and said the service was great. "Her name was Amber, she's awesome" So i went, and asked to be in her section. He wasn't kidding around, the food was great, i was sat near a birthday party (also in Amber's section) and she wasn't the slightest bit overwhelmed, she helped me with just as much interest and hospitality as the big top, she deserved a big ol tip. Came here tonight (Sunday) we had to wait 15 minutes for our waitress to come, 10 minutes more just to get drinks, and they let the beef run out. The gentleman cooking at the grill has a beard that is unprotected and far too long for the food service industry. What a joke. MMMM This place reminds me of home (Los Angeles). The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food always fresh although sometimes you have to watch the shrimp as a few sneak in that haven't been de-veined. The only downfall is they don't seem to be high chair friendly as they only have a few tables that they will allow a high chair at and when it's crowded it makes the wait longer because you have to wait for those tables. read more

We visited this location today where we were rudely greeted by the manager requiring us to put on a mask after one of the wait staff told us we could just get our food to go. He made my pregnant wife and myself stand outside in the heat while we waited for him to bring out our meal. The irony is that the place was packed with people not wearing masks all within two feet of us. Also, the manager, Kaine, was wearing the mask incorrectly as well. Quite the irony. I would not recommend this establishment. Terrible service and customer treatment by the manager. Why not sit us down at a table since if you were at a table you didn't have to have a mask on? I had an overall great experience at Hu Hot. It was a win-win situation. The food was great and it was satisfying to eat. Watching the chefs make it was also a great feature. Great food, beer, and staff. I first noticed when I walked in that it was really busy and there was obviously a lot of hungry people so you already know you got to wait an extra minute. Witch you're a jerk if you think it's the restaurants fault. So they had two people on the grill as more people were lining up their plates. I noticed by this time their General manager Caleb came out to help with the grill. I love seeing this so much it makes me automatically think they got it right, and have a hard working staff. The first thing I noticed, was the lack of some proteins available for a $15 meal. I mean, shrimp is pretty normal right? They had these nasty little mini oysters that my son loved though. I stuck with the fake crab, which I could buy at the store for $3 but hey it's the experience, and it was pretty good all grilled up. The ladels are nasty! Like your hands get sticky with other people's sticky hands and you leave the place feeling like a petri dish. The food tasted ok though, I wasn't totally bummed! I am glad I didn't catch someone's flu. I would say that the best thing about the place is the sheer volume of Pokemon to be had. I will say that the staff there is top-notch. Very friendly! Great food, very accommodating of my grandmothers shellfish allergy. The manager brought out separate sauces from the back to ensure they weren't contaminated. My family and I always make an extra trip to Hu Hot on N 66th Street to see Kane Ice. Kane is a very personable and very kind. Kane goes out of his way to make our evening the best. We go to eat at hu hot about three times a month maybe four and we always request him because he remembers what we all want. He gets our drink orders right and knows what we all get. This is a guy that deserves a raise because he does so much for people. He talks with my 2 boys like they are old friends and it means a lot to my kids and myself.
