Our first time here, we made reservations for a Friday evening. Good thing as it was busy. We ordered the Mongolian grille, a plate of Crab Rangoon, and edamame. For drinks we had hot sake and a Peach Bellini. The appetizers were really good. The same was warm, but not hot enough. I should have sent it back. The food and oil choices were great. Besides a few seafood choices, they had beef, pork, chicken, and sausage. Lots of veggie choices, too. The oils choices were plenty.

Next time I'm in Lincoln, I'm coming back here! I attended a bachelor party in Lincoln, and our last stop in the City was catching dinner here. We were able to change our reservation schedule for a party of 8, and they helped do everything they could to accommodate. We were seated about 10 minutes after our improvised reservation time on a Saturday night. Service was well-paced. The menu has many different options, but as always, the peanut butter chicken caught my eye. The flavor of the food was phenomenal, while the chicken itself was more tender compared to most other classic chicken dishes. I loved the aesthetics, felt cared for, and the food (although a little more upscale) was worth the price. I cannot wait to be back in the future and to try something else!

What a gem in this small town :) My sister and his bf been raving this place for quite awhile now. They've been telling me of how affordable this spot is for a AYCE Mongolian BBQ. I lived in LA, so we have a lot in here, but for less than a $20.. it's unheard off. So when I visited my sis for the first time, I cannot wait to try this place out. Couple of months later..... I visited my sis and my first dinner in Nebraska is in here. The first thing I noticed of how fancy this place looks like. Like damn! The place looks super fly with its own bar and they serve Japanese food, as well. Although, I am not here for that.. I am curious. Of course, we ordered their AYCE self serve Mongolian BBQ. Typical Mongolian bbq set up.. you got your bowls and fill it out with meat, veggies and sauces. The unique way I order this.. I don't put any noodle or carb like ingredients.. just straight up meat. Btw they have a seafood meats too such as shrimps, scallops and a damn salmon. What?! An AYCE salmon meat for under $20. Sweet baby Jesus just take my money.. I'm sold! So there you have it! This is my Yelp story why I really like this place :) Overall, I'm 100% going here whenever I visit my sis. PS: Great customer service for the guys manning the grill.. give them a raise :)

Vegetarian sushi: fried asparagus roll, friend sweet potato, and avocado roll

Delicious, great waitstaff, a bit of a long wait, but fantastic service and sushi! Will come again!

    Small, tiny sushi

Absolute smallest rolls I've ever had. Use to frequent this establishment all the time years ago, don't think I'll be going back after how tiny the sushi was.

My review is based on my dinner, the Sashimi Deluxe - 21 pieces of sashimi (actually... 22!). I considered giving a three-star review, but in yelp terms that means A-OK and the sashimi was anything but okay. Some of the fish was okay, but some of it was also questionable. Not so bad that I refused to eat it (I WAS starving!), but enough that made me think, "Hmm... this isn't the freshest of fish". The salmon was a big disappointment. I love the taste of salmon sashimi and especially the mouthfeel. The texture of the salmon sashimi was not like velvet and flavor was missing. The white fish, which I assume was escolar, was not good. I won't go into a description fish by fish, but suffice to say it was not enjoyable. I did get a free California roll thanks to yelp! It was good, a bright spot in the dinner. It was a bit heavy on cream cheese, but hey... who doesn't love cream cheese! The plum wine was very good. The staff was attentive. The menu is huge and there were a lot of people going up to a food bar, putting stuff in bowls and then taking it to chefs to prepare. This area seemed to be the most popular. Perhaps this food is what brings in the crowds, so you might want to check it out. But it you are in the mood for delicious sashimi, this is not the place.

    Pink Lady Roll - 14

Still a fan. I don't get to Ginger often because I don't find myself on this side of town very often. But, I did get a chance to go back and sample the Pink Lady Roll (Tuna, salmon, yellow tail, white fish, cucumber, avocado topped with spicy mayo and strawberry sauce). What a yummy roll! The strawberry sauce is a compliment, not overpowering and even turned my sushi hatin' sister into a fan. If you've got your eye on this roll get it!

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

They have no paper menus and these wont be coming back. You scan a qr code and it leads you to their website. Also the free style soda machine has been taken out. Food is fresh. Decent selection available. And they have sauces at the corner. The sauce collection is almost as large as the food selection. That said, the sauces are decently spiced. I managed to make a mixture that was to my liking. The ingredients are replenished quickly. And the meat is kept frozen and thinly sliced so it cooks in a decent amount of time. There is a large stove top that is like a circle and it's amazing watching the chefs dance around the grill cooking your meal. That said I would like to caution ppl who has food allergies to reconsider eating here. Maybe they do special cooking for those but what I saw was that they walk round the grill/ stove flip the food and walk to the next. Grill is cleaned with water after each plate is served but whilst cooking- they move from one portion to the next just "wiping" the utensils on the side of the grill/stove. But as long as you don't have food allergies, its an amazing experience. I didn't really like the hot and sour soup - tasted more like peppery carrot soup. The egg rolls and the food was nicely done. Crispy but looked like it was wrapped by a beginner. I made a mixture of pork, beef, mixture of vegetables, noodles and ultra spicy sauce. I would come back again- I just wouldn't order the soup. It's a personal preference on the soup.

So if you get this table for an evening meal, immediately ask force seating. We could not wait to leave! We ordered meals and sushi. Several people at the table do not use chopsticks. Food arrived and there were only 4 forks in the entire restaurant. Food got cold waiting for forks - imagine having a restaurant without forks! Finally, besides being cold, the walnut shrimp, sesame chicken and peanut butter chicken all were very dry and didn't have much "sauce" on them. This isn't the first time we have eaten here and never had this type of service or food. But all in all, it was EXTREMELY disappointing and since things have changed we most likely won't be back.

The decor looked like a cross between industrial and a pub, not neccessarily a japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a full bar with mixed drinks, red and white wine and beer. There is all you can eat sushi - but we didnt order that as we were not that hungry. Hubby ordered a diet coke and I got japanese jasmine tea. Yamamoto yama tea that came in a nice ceramic pot with a ceramic cup. Drinks came promptly. We ordered age tofu, and fried spring rolls for appetisers. Age tofu was crispy and sauce for it was good. But the age tofu that I'm used to had a much lighter batter which i prefer. The spring rolls were a tad cool to touch- and mushy inside ( feels like something frozen then fried and left there - then lightly refried. ) not made fresh to order. We ordered the Kasumi and Nebraska. Sushi was well wrapped- combination of rice to ingredients ratio was good. Sriracha on sushi was a little odd. Both hubby and I agreed we liked the Nebraska roll a little better than the Kasumi. Condition of the restaurant - could be improved. Service - decent Food - oķ but not great.
