I find the rentals to be incredibly fair and affordable with a 3 hour rental costing $8. You will need a form of payment and license for rentals fyi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Even available to take the time to help you Don on your skis outside. The trails are well groomed and lit. Many people participating from all different level experiences. People are generally kind and respectful. Trails are clearly marked with easy, moderate and difficult trails. The difficulty is never more than the equivalent of a bunny hill. The lodge is super cozy and has indoor and outdoor door fireplaces to warm up at. They have a cafe for warm drinks and some various forms of chilli. I chose to have mine in the form of a chili dog for $2.25. Drinks are also reasonably priced, I bought two cappuccinos for $3.25. They have maps and only some of the trails are lit so take care of noting those if you choose to night ski. Enjoy and have fun!! There are several small lakes, one of which has a beach and other activities such as paddle boats. There are two different entrances to the park, which helps spread visitors out on really busy days like weekends. On the Secchia Meadows side, there is a nice pavillon where my friends had their wedding. I highly recommend Millennium Park for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors, spotting creatures such as deer, turtles, muskrats, eagles, and more.

These people checking me in and telling me safety information are incredibly young! Will they be able to save me and my family if our kayaks flip over and we fall into the lake? Wow! What a beautiful day! But I wonder how often people fall into the lake. I also wonder how deep the lake is. I also wonder if it's possible to be trapped underwater if your kayak flips over. In the end, I decided to kick it on the sandy beach and wave at my family as they happily paddled on the lake. They had a great time kayaking. I had a great time not kayaking. Like Hot Chocolate says: Everyone's a winner, baby. Kayaks are either single-person or double, and we used one of each. There are very few instructions given, which was a little alarming to me. (You mean you just assume we know what we're doing?!) But fortunately, my family knew what they were doing, so they didn't need much instruction to get themselves out on the water. As you paddle around the lake, you pass the Millennium Park beach and splash pad, plus little islands here and there. There is about four miles of shoreline to explore. I was told that the lake was nice and calm, and that it was a pleasant time on the water. We rented kayaks, but Millennium Park Boat Rentals also offers canoes, paddle boats and stand-up paddle boards to rent. Keep in mind that rentals are seasonal -- this place is only open from Memorial Day-ish to Labor Day-ish.

There are also a couple of basket ball hoops, horseshoe pits, swings, and a skate park to keep the kids entertained as well as a nice paved path to have a leisurely stroll down. Just be warned that the bathrooms are closed if any of the little ones have an emergency.

My dogs and her dogs are basically best…read morefriends and they got to spend about 40 minutes running around this park like the snow dogs they are. They had so much fun even though our hands were starting to get cold by the end of our visit. Her dog is Young and she had never seen her run so much. Are dogs. Slept great last night as a result of visiting this fairly spacious area. We will definitely be coming back to allow our dogs to release their energy and run around.

Parking seemed a little limited for the size of the park, but we got a spot at the main entrance off Wolfboro. This park is basically in the middle of a subdivision, so you can probably find street parking if needed. There were some little kids sports practices happening while we were there. We used the pavilion to have our picnic dinner, then the kids all had a blast playing on the playground (ages 2.5-8). I was most impressed by the splash pad, with its water towers and buckets and the axolotl fountain! The kids kept referring to it as a "water park," which cracked me up. It's definitely a lot bigger than the splash pad at the park by my house. A nice spot to hang out with kids!
