I 100% recommend Hulett! After hiring multiple other (sketchy) pest service companies in the area, I finally found Hulett. We had a rodent issue where no one could find where they were coming from. Hulett found the source and correctly sealed the hole, unlike the other companies we had hired. Thom and Mike were great to work with, we had the Albert Einstein of rats trapped in our house and they gave it their all and were able to successfully trap the smart rat. We also were having some cockroaches and ants getting into our house and they were able to solve that issue instantly! I was optimistic about their pest control service as they have been around for so long. How very wrong I was. It simply was not working and I was tired of calling to request a repeat visit. (I regretted not keeping the small mom and pop company after it was sold to a larger company.) So no, I do not recommend this company. However, if you decide to go with Hulett DO NOT agree to automatic debit! When I decided to cancel my contract PRIOR to a scheduled service I kept calling to request a refund of the monthly fee and was told a "manager" would call me, that never happened. Eventually, I had to go through my bank. It took almost three months for it to be resolved IN MY FAVOR and my bank credited back, wait for it....all of $51.00. Mind you, Hulett spent millions on a Superbowl ad but could not return my $51.00 without my having to involve my bank and a three month wait. Hire at your own risk. read more

When Jason from Hulett Environmental Services came out to inspect for termites he assessed for termites, but he did not inform me of exactly what he'd observed of the evidence of their infestation. I'd been killing the termites by smacking them with my slipper whenever I'd see them crawling on the walls, spraying with Accushot Spectracide (which is an outdoor poison for termites, thus the irritated eye, nose & throat. Numerous termites were crawling out of the efficiency's a/c-as I am a renter on a property in WPB. But I wanted a professional to verify & to let me know what professional observations of the termite evidence, as they were not exposing themselves when he was on property. Just because I'm not the owner and especially since I'm a paying tenant/renter I had every right to know for my records. I'll never do business with any Hulett Environmental Services provider because of Jason's rude & dismissive attitude towards me. Despicable, compassionless & unprofessional service is what I got. I signed up with Huellet almost a year ago. At first the service was good. We would get a call a few days ahead to confirm appointment. I would be able to set up to be home. Somewhere along the way Huellet went down hill. They started to show up without notice. Entering my backyard and property. Scared my teenage kids to the point they almost called the cops due to intruder. I was able to see the cameras and avoid a 911 call. I called Huellet with one request....please advise me by phone at least 72 hrs before service. Eveytime I was told it will be done, it's in the notes of my profile. 6 months later and 4 complaints later....I still have a tech arrive and call me as he is in front of my house. I cancelled my services. Huellet made it very clear clients safety and security don't mean anything over profit. This company is great! Mr. Javier Hernandez came out on a Saturday and gave a free inspection of my mother's attic because we have been hearing noises coming from there and were worried we had rats. He was so thorough! He brought his own ladder and went up into the attic and verified for us that there is no evidence of rodents at all. He suspects that the noises we heard are raccoons on the roof at night perhaps but we are so reassured to know that there is no evidence of rats--no droppings, odor, etc. This inspection was FREE, and I cannot thank this company enough for their professionalism. I had a palm rat problem in our guest cottage and called Hulett. The service manage came out and said for $400 for 30 days they'd put some traps inside the ceiling space and for an extra $200 they'd put some bait boxes outside, and everything would be checked every 3 days. I declined the bait boxes but stupid me went with the inside traps. They put 2 snap traps in the ceiling space, and they only showed up twice after the first two weeks. Lesson learned. I called The Critter Guy's and they came and did a total house inspection the same day (take a lesson here Hulett) to determine where the rats were coming and going. Eliminating this is the only way to keep them out. In 15 minutes the tech found the entry /exit point, and worked to seal it up. That solved the problem. At the very least for rodents, STAY AWAY FROM HULETT! read more

Craig collected dead and live bugs and identified them as a mold eating bug. We were very perplexed as everything in the condo was new........... Craig suggested we check under the toilet lid. Please do not use this company ! They treated for termites and months later they are still here . They will not retreat any area if they don't see a kick out hole . They know it's extremely hard to even see so that's how they get away with not retreating . I should have used a smaller business company and will do for the future . They are a bunch of crooks !!! The spray they use is INEFFECTIVE and akin to water. I was better off taking my $500, shredding it and feeding it to the bugs. Crab spiders would reappear everywhere the next day or two days later. We have an issue at my house with spiders, crab spiders, and roaches. NOTHING has improved over a year. When they come to your house, they don't really search for infestations. They literally never looked for the source. No one went into the attic during the year, not the roof, no where. These are not experts. read more

Mr. Roderick came out for an inspection and we mentioned we were getting the ceiling replaced (wood panels). He suggested that having it open when treatment is done would be beneficial. So we scheduled around the technician coming out on 19th (we both had it on calendar for that date). Well the ceiling is wide open and they say he isn't coming until 20th. No schedules can be changed and they have it as 20th.. Truly unbelievable. Did the 2 of us make a mistake or 1 technician? I'm going with the technician. Hired for their top of the lawn grounds treatments - palm tree, weeds, pests. After almost a year, and losing more than half the lawn, some shrubs, etc due to their treatments and having more weeds than ever, we fired them. We'd called, emailed, met with them on-site and there was a lot of finger-pointing between supervisors, technicians, the office... Amazingly, after about 6 months of NO care, our lawn was greener with less weeds than when they 'treated'!? WTH? Save your money or go elsewhere. read more

I was promised a 7 year warranty on termites and just was notified that two years later is no longer active. For over a year I had Hulett's "Silver elite" lawn service. The photo with the sign below shows what my lawn looked like during that time. The other photo shows what the lawn looks like now, 2 months after cancelling my Hulett lawn service contract. Basically they killed the grass. When I called them in I was told my problem was "chinch bugs" and the lawn being "cut too short". Of course, they offered to give me free extra chemical applications - which only made the problem worse! The process went well enough and everyone was easy to work with. 2 months later, there was still an active termite colony which can sometimes happen so that's not Hulett's fault. They agreed to tent fumigate again (per the warranty coverage). During the 2nd fumigation, I had to pay to put the tenants and their dogs in a hotel which Hulett helped cover the costs of. read more
