Nice place just be careful to inspect anything your thinking of purchasing since even though many itrms are new they have an "as-is" policy! As an example...the refusal to exchange a damaged Christmas hat with a little hole in the wool because I had no receipt or even sure of purchase date! My son's,twenty and sixteen, and I were looking at military patches and were told to "make sure we put patches back in proper place". This is hilarious considering I am a grown man, father, husband, teacher and veteran. We laughed to ourselves and certainly complied. We witnessed two of the employees behind the front counter openly arguing in front of customers. Needless to say I will never be back and prices not all that great either. read more

TERRIBLE. Would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service, inventory, and sales experience are completely subpar and unprofessional. I had a deployment bag and 2 seabags full of excellent condition USMC stuff that I had came in to sell back in June after being informed via email it was ok, was told to come back next week, I come back in next week and Im told to come in NEXT week. I call ahead next week and Im told to bring it in September. I gave them an itemized list of my stuff and they had no problem with it back in June. Anyway fast forward to September I lay out my stuff and I go to give him an itemized list and he says rudely "Whats this" I explain its a list of everything and he gets an attitude and tells me to stand somewhere else and let him do his job because he knows what hes looking at and they had been in business 75 years. Now they have been rude every time Ive come in so I was expecting a bit of douche baggery but this silently blew me. 15 minutes later he comes up to me and says I will give you $75 for everything. I laughed, this stuff retails $2,000 and almost none of it has been used (acquired from a bunch of UA Marines back in MCT in 2015 and never had to use) I was expecting $850 and that was a deal. The deployment bag itself has never even been used and was in perfect condition, so the thing Im transporting all the crap inside is worth the 75 hes offering. Which I had a Marine from my unit offer to buy for $65 . Not going to go into massive detail as I had near 100 different items but I had 15 pairs of camies all brand new, mostly MARPAT but some M81 and ACU l, I was offerring $15 each top and bottom and I saw their selection...they are selling ripped up faded unserviceable marpat for $40. BRAND new SNCO belt buckle (retails $40), 5 seabags, jogging suit(new with tags), 15 marksmanship badges, brand new coreframs and boots etc Anyway, when they offered $75 I laughed and left. Waste of my time. On top of that, as I said their inventory in the store is horrendous. Not a single serviceable pair of MARPAT, probably cuz they want to buy mine for $1 each and resell $45 DO NOT come here if you are intending to sell ANYTHING OR look for items for service wear. Honestly the only thing you should concern yourself with are patches and pins that are difficult to find. Everything else is WAAAY overpriced (they were seriously selling MARPAT camies for $40 when it had holes in them...you can get them from the PX for $45) Another reviewer had similar experience, they offered $30 lmao read more

So I just retired from the military, I call ahead to see if I can bring in a few bags of uniforms. I get there the two gentlemen and older one and middle age one. The middle age one said he would take care of me. He tells me to bring my stuff in and lay it all out on one table, I fill the table with ACU's top/bottoms, PT uniforms top/bottoms, class A pants and shirts, 2 ACH's, beret, belts, and boots. The guy comes over and picks up a pair of the ACU pants, he checks the size puts it back then proceeds to stand back and look at the table of gear I have. He never picked anything else up at all. He says $30 bucks for everything. OMG!!!!!!!! If I had known he was gonna have me pull all my stuff out just for him to fold his arms and spit out a ridiculous amount I would of stayed home. Stay away, I realize this is the only place near the area but go elsewhere to avoid this horrible service. read more

This place is really cool. They have a huge selection of military surplus. I got a rally cool German camo jacket for 20 bucks. My kids love it there too. We pick up camping supplies, Halloween costume items like camo makeup and stuff. The inventory changes pretty regularly as well. The family that runs the place are really nice people too. read more

This place hates people who are actually IN the military! I went in the store to unload some of my old Army gear (BDU and DCU stuff we don't wear anymore and was taking up space in my garage). My buddy and I get there and IMMEDIATELY we're met with rudeness because we were excercising our right as responsible Americans to open carry our firearms. (we're both military btw) We got dirty looks the moment we walked in, I thought this was a surplus store???? The last place I expected to be heckled about open carrying. Anyways, the owner was rude while inspecting my Army goods and kept acting very strange, and it turns out it was because they were stalling for time because they called the police on us. The police informed them that there was nothing going on and that there was nothing they could do and the police were very polite to us as well. The employees and owners on the other hand were jackasses. And to boot, he waited until the police showed up before he told me he wasn't going to buy any of my old gear (what a spineless jerk). It was an all around unpleasant experience. By the way, it's not a "furniture store" as they claim, it's a lame old building with a sub-par selection of medicore goods at a semi-high prices. The quality of the goods and prices I can deal with, the crap is old and used, fine whatever. But the actions of the employees and OWNER were reprehensible. read more
