Absolutely the best dumplings and salades in Montreal! Best vegetarian options I've ever experienced. This is a hidden gem!

Owner/chef and his wife, originally from Hong Kong, just opened the charming, small restaurant and are personable and hard working.

This restaurant offers variety of vegan dishes Asian style. We opted for the boba milk tea, sushi rolls, and shrimp appetizer. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. The dragon roll was our favorite. However the star of the show, was the fried shrimp. They were salty and sweet with perfect amount of spice. The milk tea was also equally delicious as the food, however paper boba straws...I could not. And thus made a mess (my fault). Overall, great restaurant to dine alone or with friends. It is walking distance to/from the heart of the city.

The staff was also super friendly and recommended some options for our brunch. We ordered the coconut curry, mushroom crostini, and shakshuka. I really enjoyed the coconut curry and mushroom crostini. They both had quite a bit of flavour and were beautifully plated. The shakshuka was incredibly bland and miss for me. I did enjoy the way the tofu was done for the crostini and shaksuka though. Would definitely come back here again to try some of the other dishes especially the vegetarian ones which were pretty egg heavy for brunch.

We were greeted warmly and sat down at a lovely table. The service was great here and very attentive and kind. Food was delicious as were the non alcoholic beverages. We started with the calamari made from hearts of palm. These were delicious although they did not have the same chewy texture of traditional calamari. The dipping sauce was amazing. I had the fish tacos which I would get on repeat they were so delicious. The perfect combo of crunch and softness with an amazing slaw. My husband had the truffle burger and fries and was enjoying every bite. LOV McGill is a must visit in Montreal -- not just for vegans but for anyone who loves delicious food, cool atmosphere and great service!

My friends and I went for the buffet after practice and it was perfect. The food was warm and we ate enough for the price. My plate was around $17 and I was very full by the end of it. The food is warm and delicious. Some stuff was missing since it was very close to closing but that's ok. I do wish the dessert was included in the price (it's a separate weight fee). The restaurant is big (the buffet is upstairs) so there's enough seating if you go with a group. It's always nice to add another vegetarian/vegan restaurant to my list of recommendations!

It reminded me of cities in Europe where this is very common (think Scandinavia or Switzerland.) It wasn't fully vegan but there were plenty of vegan options and they were all well-labeled. As is usual for a buffet, it's hard to not go too 'all-in' when you first start loading up your plate. Everything will look good and you want to try it all. The staff was really helpful when we arrived, explaining any of the little details about how their particular service works. And there was A LOT of seating, so this is a good option if you have a somewhat larger group. My partner and I got a view overlooking the bottom floor and outside and it was perfect.
