A guy came out to pick up mine and my moms laptop. we asked if he could help my daughter get her scanner connected. he did not say he wasn't a tech, he was not, he googled it ( she had already done all that, duh) And then added a $75. to the bill for that. In addition, my moms laptop worked fine for a week and then began having the same issues. She called and was told they only have one tech and he is out indefinitely due to family issue. This place is a joke. I walked in for a quote on a laptop (by the way it's 85$ to begin troubleshooting). He is also so rude! I called him on the phone and he was so dismissive (first red flag). Then I show up and he had a customer which I was fine waiting for my questions, but he then started yelling at me across the room saying "HELLOOO! HELLO! IMA HELP YOU NEXT!" With an ugly attitude . This was all meanwhile he was telling his customer that he had in front of him that he doesn't need her long story & to cut to the chase). So if you go here be ready to deal with all that. **If you don't like your job then don't work there. Miserable- customer service. I think I've got better customer service from the AI drive- thru services. WARNING! Consumer beware. Don't trust the owner. He comes off very nice, informative and helpful. He purposely tamers with your laptop or computer tells you it can't be fixed after a diagnostic text. He tells you he can retrieve hard drive information for a charge and will make copy, great, right! NO! He also make copy for himself. So all of you personal information that was on that hard drive is now in his hands. read more

I've been using computers since the early 80's, and I have owned a whole range of different machines over the years, starting with Ataris, Xerox XTs, 286s, 386s, and on up the line from there. In fact, I built my own computers for several years, up until I had my most recent machine custom-built for me by Micro Center in Tustin, CA. That was in 2012, and I use that machine to edit web site and other graphics, wedding and live performance music videos and audio recordings, etc., keep track of my businesses and to play online games, which all require a fast computer, large amounts of memory, and lots of storage! Today, that computer is still up and running very efficiently, due in very large part to Human Computer's owner, Michael Kim. I'm not up to date with all the computer architecture advances since my machine was built, and so I needed to find a local shop with someone I could trust to work on my custom-machine (which was not cheap since every component at the time, was top of the line), someone who's prices were fair, and who would do their best to keep my beast up and running. Mike IS that guy! He IS my new guru, which is what I used to call the guys I learned about computers from in Corona, CA., at Array Computer. He is the guy I go to now for answers and solutions to my computer problems. I have had Mike work on my personal machine 3 times, on 3 separate issues, and on things I could not figure out on my own. Each time he has done a great job for very reasonable prices, and very quickly as well. He has also worked on my youngest daughter's laptop, replacing a defunct hard drive, after Windows would not update. And, Mike has also worked my my girlfriend's laptop computer, replacing her blank/broken screen. Each time, Mike treated us like family, with the lowest turn-around time, fair prices, and genuine interest in getting us back up and working as soon as possible. This is so important when your machine is down, needs an upgrade, a fix, or whatever. Believe me... Mike is worth his weight in gold when you need your computer up and running as quickly as possible! I have a computer that is 14 years old. It had windows 7. It started slowing. Software would not support windows 7 any longer. Took in around noon today and had it back by 4. These days it's always a week or more wait to get anything done. Hard Drive was replaced and windows 10 added. Customer service is great! I have a new computer. Very reasonable price!!!!! It is so rare to find the customer service experience I had with Mike at Human Computers. I took in a laptop that he was able to repair. The cost was more than fair, and he explained everything. Given that experience, I brought in another laptop; unfortunately he wasn't able to repair it. Again, he explained everything they tried, what the problem was and why it couldn't be resolved. I understood everything perfectly. When I asked what my cost was, he said they offer free diagnostic. He offered to recycle it for me, which is fine. I would absolutely use their services again. He has such integrity about his work, was pleasant to work with and was very reasonable. I strongly recommend them. read more

I was very happy with my first experience with Human Computers. I brought two identical Dell laptops into them to have Windows 10 installed. Mike, the owner, and Miguel were both very nice and helpful. They did everything to my satisfaction and had both laptops ready to pick up less than 24 hours after I brought them in. Both laptops are working like new and they are both about ten years old. This morning I called Mike to ask him a couple of questions about Windows Defender and he was happy to answer my questions. I took my tower here and. the owner told me that he had a tower he for 79.00 dollars. I told him that was in my price range and I would come back to purchase at the begin of the month to buy. So I went with my son ready to purchase the tower super excited and said ok I'm here to buy the tower. and he pointed at the tower and price gouged it up to 179.00 I'm a single mom and had told him that my kids did work online and. Did not have a lot of money. and he said he understood. and said what happend to the 79 .00 dollar tower he said that's it. I see now why he does not have people in the store ! Needless to say went to Amazon to get a tower the seller threw in a mouse and key board free all for under 100 .00 dollars. Sick of people that try to always upsale. I was doing business next door and thought I would check them out.i needed a surge protector anyways. he reluctantly sold me the only surge protector he had for a fair price. then he wants my name,address,and phone number.what for? is this radio shack or something? I gave him the info. I looked around and asked him about a refurbished computer he had for sale. he did not seem interested in selling it to me. did not try to sell me anything. seemed very indifferent whether I spent money or not. Love this place. They took the fear out of my computer repair. They have helped me twice now. Once about 3 years ago and most recently on 9-22-14.
