The purpose was to attempt to provide relief from a minor outbreak of vertigo. Upon completing the maneuver, I was walked out to the physical therapy area where I was instructed to perform some exercises. The exercises increased my dizziness. I asked what the purpose of the exercises were, and I was informed to induce vertigo symptoms, so that my body could adjust to them. I was dumbfounded and asked to speak to someone who could answer a very simple question. Shouldn't the Eppy maneuver be done with the patient has completed.

Meanwhile, all the folks that treat patients at Crossroads have been miracle workers in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The Crossroads office was badly damaged, but they organized to treat patients in a makeshift space across the street in the hospital--like medicine during wartime. But they did not want to leave their post-op patients high and dry. (I was one of those post-op patients with pain, having evacuated right after surgery. But when I came back, the Crossroads folks were able to treat me, and it helped a lot.) My experience w/ Crossroads is: this kind of thing is the best part of Victoria.

My favorite thing here is their healthy deli which features beyond reasonable pricing. I got a tasty large smoothie for less than $5 which would have cost me close to $10 at a professional smoothie shop. They offer a full array of fitness classes, including yoga and Cross Fit. The facility is immaculately clean. They offer massage therapy and also have a healthy deli downstairs.
