I was very impressed, as this kind of care for single item moves is rare and is usually reserved only for whole-home moves. Upon arrival, my well-protected bookcases were in excellent shape. I watched them unwrap them and place them where I needed them. I could not have been happier with the speed, care, and mindfulness with which my items were picked up, delivered, and installed. My husband and I hired Above and Beyond Movers to help us move from a 2-story condo in an elevator…read morebuilding to a 2-story condo in a walk-up building. I watched my husband on the phone tell them they need 3 movers at least, and they told him it sounded like a 2-person job. I even made my husband call them back about the large number of boxes/totes we had for them to carry into the new unit. But, they still only sent 2 guys. When they arrived to move us that morning, it didn't take them but a few minutes to show on their face that the job seemed too big for just two guys. We thought we were doing good because we had done everything to make their job easy... we moved all of the boxes to the new location on our own and only left them furniture to move out of our condo. But, they immediately said the job was too big for just two guys to move us out and then move everything in on the other end due to the amount of stairs (that we warned them about). We were clear about the stairs at the new condo, the amount of furniture and boxes, and how this wasn't going to be an easy move, but they didn't seem concerned on the phone until they arrived to move us out. When I asked whether they were going to be able to move us or not that day, they opted to call their office and reschedule to the next day (Sunday) ... instead doing another move for someone else Saturday. Although they offered to do the next day, our condo doesn't allow move outs on Sunday, so we had to cancel with these movers and find others. The domino effect of them not listening to us well cost us in time, money, and stress which is probably what they don't realize. In the end, we opted to rent a UHaul and begin moving ourselves. We did about half of what we asked them to move on our own, and then we hired young men from another company to help us move the furniture and boxes into the destination unit. Honestly, the most disappointing thing is that whoever manages Above & Beyond's social media dismissed my Google review, instead adding some false statements in their response. They stated that they couldn't park the truck near the access due to a parade, but we saw their truck parked exactly where they were supposed to be in our condo driveway to access our elevator. They also claimed we lied about a 4-story walk-up, but actually we told them it was 2.5-3 stories depending on which floor of the condo they needed to carry something. It's just a disappointing experience in the end. I wish they would have just listened more attentively.

WHATA NIGHTMARE!!! I hired Easy Movers, Inc. for my recent…read morelocal relocation. The service I received was unprofessional and resulted in significant damage to my property due to the negligence and lack of experience demonstrated by the three-person crew. Despite a short five-minute drive between locations, the moving truck took 30 minutes to arrive. Upon inspecting my belongings, I discovered that my items had not been properly padded or secured during transport. Specifically, the dining room table base has substantial holes on two sides. Additionally, a wood sofa table fell apart during the move. It appeared that an unsuccessful and undisclosed attempt was made to repair the table before I saw it, which I find purposefully deceitful. The crew failed to disclose any of this damage until I pointed it out myself. Furthermore, I was disappointed that the crew attempted to take the 65-inch TV box, for which I specifically paid $125.00. Please review your records and confirm, your company Easy Movers Inc. did provide moving services for my family.
