Now, for my experience, I was done attending a volunteering class at the main shelter and needed a mid-afternoon pick me up. I looked up places to eat by my location and this was 2 mins away and something I've never tried before, SCORE! The entrance is on the side of the main entrance to this community I knew nothing about. I was there close to their closing time so I lucked out with being able to chat with the manager as my order was being prepared. At 100 degrees outside I had an Iced Tea and Lemon Poppyseed Muffin. Yum! Muffin was moist, flavorful not overpowered by one flavor but well balanced and it was a Starbucks Iced Tea, I now carry a lemon juice bottle with me as I love lemon in my tea with my Stevia packets. I was refreshed. Next time im meeting with my friends were having lunch here. I was amazed by how this place operated and how much good they do for the community. Please support!

My favorite is karaoke on Saturdays. It's got more of a family vibe to it than other kava bars. If you go, expect to be talked to by staff and patrons as opposed to just served and left alone. The only criticism I have is that I think their tea is overpriced. You will pay $17 for the same amount you can get somewhere else for $11-12. But they brew it in a way to remove a lot of the alkaloid flavoring and make it less harsh. That being said, their kava is probably the best in town, and it's competitively priced.
