Just an okay experience. I ordered a hot banana latte and received an iced latte. They did offer to remake, but I was already late for my plans so I had to decline. The burrito was hot, but not good in my opinion. The potatoes had a weird texture. The iced latte did taste pretty good, so I wasn't upset about the mistake.

I took a short Sunday walk from home to Sip to get a coffee to go. I stayed for a little bit to experience the ambiance of the place. The menu is not too big and easy to order. My drink Coconut Cold Brew was taken and made pretty quickly. I sat outside for some sun with the other guests who were all on their laptops. It was nice to see three chessboard tables (all being used). I will definitely e back to try more of the coffee drinks perhaps a beer and the treats they offer.

Such a cute coffee shop! Came here for a quick lunch and coffee during the lunch time on a weekday, I was surprised there were so many people. I guess this place is really good work/study spot with coffee and food :) I got to try strawberry and cream coffee and sandwich and potatoes, both sandwich and potatoes were so good, I didn't expect it! I'd def come back for food, especially for the potatoes. Also the coffee was so yummy!

This is the berry licious protein smoothie. It has ~25g of protein if you're protein conscious. It does have a little protein taste to and I wish it had more fruit to mask this flavor. It is also a bit too watery for my liking and not cold enough. Maybe not the best spot for smoothies

Banana foster latte, oat milk. No whipped cream doesn't need it. So yummy

So I went to the other Sip location in Old Town. Similar vibes in it being very clean and open (the windows were all open because it was nice out, although I think I tad cold in the morning). Plants everywhere, love it. Some outlets but I would have liked more since it's a coffee shop and a lot of people come to stay and work. I had to sit at the bar top which is fine but a little louder up here. The bar top chairs are quite comfy though, leather! The music is nice and happy. If you need silence, probably not the place for you. Some outside noise too with the windows all open. Everyone here is very nice. I got the banana foster again because I loved it last time - with no whipped cream. It was perfect. Tasted just as good as the other location. This drink seemed to be a very popular one from what I was hearing from other orders.

Great coffee and fast service! It was extremely busy in the coffee shop with people working, socializing & studying. After placing an order at the counter, my cold brew with cream was out within 5 minutes or so. I was given a table number and my avocado toast was brought out to me shortly thereafter. Both the coffee and the food were super tasty! For the price of the toast, I was disappointed that it was only a single piece of bread but it was nicely made. The pesto and pine nuts in addition to the avocado, tomatoes, and arugula were a really nice touch to enhance the flavors. I'd love to come back and try more of their menu items and coffees!

Such a cute spot to come get work day and enjoy a beverage! There is a fair amount of seats, but it appears to get busy during popular hours so plan ahead if you're wanting to get a good seat next to an outlet to get work done. Coffee was good, but I'd come here more to hang out a rather than to come just for the coffee. :)

Although staff was friendly and the design/location is nice, the drinks we got were disappointing. The promotional signs made the drinks look interesting and tasty but the actual drinks looked nothing like them. My friend got the strawberry matcha latte which had very defined layers. The picture attached to this review is how it came to her! No defined layers, not very green. She said it tasted like lightly strawberry flavored oat milk, and very little like matcha. She threw it out as soon as we got to the hotel with very few sips. I had high hopes for the horchata cold brew. It was cinnamon-y but not at all like how it was pictured, and over time it sort of started... separating? I dunno, I ended up getting about halfway and tossing the rest. 2/5 because of how different the drinks were compared to how they were advertised. Perhaps it was someone new but it was shortly after 7am when there should technically be a lot of people rolling in for their morning brew.

Fabulous coffee, light bites, beer and booze in old town Scottsdale. Opens at 7am for coffee and beer alike. Nice patio, with doggie water bowls as well. Good selection of flavored coffees, and beers on tap are awesome. Of particular note is that coffee refills are free! I just think I found my favorite early morning hangout place in Sco

Sip in Scottsdale has the best vibe! It's part artist and strangely almost like a high end beach cafe! It was 7am and of course I needed an expresso martini (or two) and it was none other that the wonderful Gabby who made these for me! Meg was so kind and you can tell these staff members are hired on the basis that they can all be friends with each other. They are all funny too : my favorite quote came from Daphne who said "it was so hot yesterday my Birkenstocks shrank!" Hysterical- thank you and cheers to martinis in the morning ( one must stay hydrated after all )

Came in here to grab a drink and read and I really ended up loving this spot. I got an iced matcha with brown sugar which was super yummy! I like that this spot has a lot of indoor seating but oh my god it was so hot in there. Overall I enjoyed my time and would definitely come back.

Happy employees make for happy customers! And that's what was waiting for me at SIP. Great, friendly barista who made an excellent iced americano. SIP has such a warm environment with people at computers, chit chatting, making out...perfect! A great coffee in a great environment and a great book. SIP is a BINGO!

    Breakfast burrito

Super friendly staff when I went in the other day to do some work. I got their breakfast burrito which was really good, always could use more bacon but overall good taste! The coffee also was good, gave me energy to finish our meeting that we were having. They have inside and outside seating which is nice especially on the beautiful days before summer comes The ambiance was quiet , good amount of people working on their laptops or socializing with friends and it wasn't too loud that you couldn't work.

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

Love the special touches like the light at your table to call the martini cart bartender over to do table side personalized martinis. Our waitress was phenomenal and offered so many helpful menu tips as well. For the ambiance, think dark, moody, and sexy vibes. Even though the exterior and bathroom areas of the W Hotel are under construction, the ambiance within the restaurant is beautiful and unaffected. I also appreciated their waiting area with seating and TVs so we could catch the very end of the World Cup game! The food and drinks were amazing. I had a delicious mocktail with elderflower - dare I say one of the best I've ever had...I'd go back for just that! Everyone else at our table loved their martinis as well. Often when you dine at these new aesthetic spots in Phoenix/Scottsdale the food disappoints - but not here. Only dish we didn't love was the chicken piccata which was a bit plain. My vodka pasta and the braised beef pasta were delicious and flavorful. And let's not forget the dessert offerings: gelato, affogato, and tiramisu were all so good! She didn't smile at all throughout the whole time like she didn't want to be there at all. Honestly, probably need to get a new hostess cause everyone else was so nice and smiling and just a great vibe. Our server Kelly made up for how terrible the hostess was. Kelly walked through the menu with us and the favorite entrees as well as the martini cart which was such a fun experience. My husband got the veal cutlets and it was the best he's ever had. I had the branzino which was good but quite dry. I think if it had an actual light lemon type sauce it would make it easier to eat. We also got the Mac and cheese which almost didn't make it but our server made it happen! We got the chocolate torte to go and holy moly that was so good. Also, can't forget the calamari, it's a must have. That dip was divine! We also loved the antipasto that came while we were looking at the menu and it was such a great twist from the usual bread service cause it was light. All in all, we loved it and we will be back and we hope the hostess is a different person when we do come back!

The salad was crisp, well dressed and delicious with the fried / curled plantain chips. The shrimp cerviche with fried plantains, blue corn tortilla chips, lime, cilantro and cucumber pico de gallo was ok but not remarkable. Our final selection was the Gaucho spiced skirt steak with chimichurri, and masa potato cakes. The steak was overcooked, not medium rare, bland taste and tough. The potato cake was tasteless. Overall, the ambience and service was good, however, the food lacks any hint of Cuban flare except for the fried plantains. When I think of Cuban food, I salivate for the unique taste profiles with a hint of sweetness from the fruits. At The canal Club, I found it non-existing. The name, setting, and environment is good but the kitchen needs to let in on the theme being Cuban.

Lowlights: It's definitely a spendier meal than usual - I would come for celebrations and not just a casual dinner. I think the least worth it items are the patatas bravas because you only get six, the chicken schnitzel because it's a very small portion, the shashuka was overwhelmingly salty. Sadly, our oysters did have sand and some shell pieces in them.
