Love stopping by here when I know I'll be planted at the computer for a few hours. Staff are friendly, lovely, and welcoming. I've missed seeing Meg! Hopefully she'll be back soon! Always a delight! I tried a modified iced Mushroom Mocha, less sweet, extra espresso shot today. It's good! For lunch, I ordered the turkey panini though asked that only the bread and cheese be heated. They prepared it just as requested. Next time I might order it with pesto on the side, but that's just personal preference. It was prepared exactly as described. Not to mention, the cook is very sweet and accommodating :) Definitely loyal to this spot on a regular basis. Especially love all the seating options - the community table, the couches, and the indoor/outdoor options! Keep up the great work!

Just an okay experience. I ordered a hot banana latte and received an iced latte. They did offer to remake, but I was already late for my plans so I had to decline. The burrito was hot, but not good in my opinion. The potatoes had a weird texture. The iced latte did taste pretty good, so I wasn't upset about the mistake.

I took a short Sunday walk from home to Sip to get a coffee to go. I stayed for a little bit to experience the ambiance of the place. The menu is not too big and easy to order. My drink Coconut Cold Brew was taken and made pretty quickly. I sat outside for some sun with the other guests who were all on their laptops. It was nice to see three chessboard tables (all being used). I will definitely e back to try more of the coffee drinks perhaps a beer and the treats they offer.

Such a cute coffee shop! Came here for a quick lunch and coffee during the lunch time on a weekday, I was surprised there were so many people. I guess this place is really good work/study spot with coffee and food :) I got to try strawberry and cream coffee and sandwich and potatoes, both sandwich and potatoes were so good, I didn't expect it! I'd def come back for food, especially for the potatoes. Also the coffee was so yummy!

This is the berry licious protein smoothie. It has ~25g of protein if you're protein conscious. It does have a little protein taste to and I wish it had more fruit to mask this flavor. It is also a bit too watery for my liking and not cold enough. Maybe not the best spot for smoothies

This place screams "third place" YAY During the AM on weekdays this place is basically a "we work" everyone is on their laptops working and sipping delish coffee, the music is vibey but not too loud so I can still take a meeting on my laptop. All the baristas are super friendly and so is everyone else around! Sad they don't have gf food menu options anymore but they do have one gf bakery item although I haven't tried it yet. I'll definitely make this place a part of my weekly WFH routine

Banana foster latte, oat milk. No whipped cream doesn't need it. So yummy

So I went to the other Sip location in Old Town. Similar vibes in it being very clean and open (the windows were all open because it was nice out, although I think I tad cold in the morning). Plants everywhere, love it. Some outlets but I would have liked more since it's a coffee shop and a lot of people come to stay and work. I had to sit at the bar top which is fine but a little louder up here. The bar top chairs are quite comfy though, leather! The music is nice and happy. If you need silence, probably not the place for you. Some outside noise too with the windows all open. Everyone here is very nice. I got the banana foster again because I loved it last time - with no whipped cream. It was perfect. Tasted just as good as the other location. This drink seemed to be a very popular one from what I was hearing from other orders.

Great coffee and fast service! It was extremely busy in the coffee shop with people working, socializing & studying. After placing an order at the counter, my cold brew with cream was out within 5 minutes or so. I was given a table number and my avocado toast was brought out to me shortly thereafter. Both the coffee and the food were super tasty! For the price of the toast, I was disappointed that it was only a single piece of bread but it was nicely made. The pesto and pine nuts in addition to the avocado, tomatoes, and arugula were a really nice touch to enhance the flavors. I'd love to come back and try more of their menu items and coffees!

    Horchata Cold Brew

Although staff was friendly and the design/location is nice, the drinks we got were disappointing. The promotional signs made the drinks look interesting and tasty but the actual drinks looked nothing like them. My friend got the strawberry matcha latte which had very defined layers. The picture attached to this review is how it came to her! No defined layers, not very green. She said it tasted like lightly strawberry flavored oat milk, and very little like matcha. She threw it out as soon as we got to the hotel with very few sips. I had high hopes for the horchata cold brew. It was cinnamon-y but not at all like how it was pictured, and over time it sort of started... separating? I dunno, I ended up getting about halfway and tossing the rest. 2/5 because of how different the drinks were compared to how they were advertised. Perhaps it was someone new but it was shortly after 7am when there should technically be a lot of people rolling in for their morning brew.

Such a cute spot to come get work day and enjoy a beverage! There is a fair amount of seats, but it appears to get busy during popular hours so plan ahead if you're wanting to get a good seat next to an outlet to get work done. Coffee was good, but I'd come here more to hang out a rather than to come just for the coffee. :)

Fabulous coffee, light bites, beer and booze in old town Scottsdale. Opens at 7am for coffee and beer alike. Nice patio, with doggie water bowls as well. Good selection of flavored coffees, and beers on tap are awesome. Of particular note is that coffee refills are free! I just think I found my favorite early morning hangout place in Sco

What we didn't realize at the time was that we had stumbled upon one of those dishes that would stick with us! So when Liquor Pig closed, we were genuinely sad to see it go, but then delighted to learn that the same chef was spearheading Wayward and, most importantly, that the legendary bone marrow poutine made its way onto the new menu. And thankfully, it's still just as memorable! The bone marrow is incredibly luscious, rich, and decadent, and the whole dish is the perfect indulgent pairing for Wayward's creative cocktails. The portion is also a great size for two people to share, especially since it's definitely a rich dish. We also tried the Jaew Chicken which was tasty and definitely a little different from what I'd normally order. It was a nice addition to the meal, but honestly, the poutine is the reason we'll keep coming back to this place! While walking through the restaurant, I noticed quite a few tables enjoying the bone in short rib taco board and those portions are serious. That platter could easily feed four people, so it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're dining with a group. All in all, I'm happy that Wayward has kept one of my favorite dishes from the Liquor Pig days alive. If you're looking for creative cocktails with something rich and indulgent to snack on, do yourself a favor and order the bone marrow poutine!

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. I also didn't like that there was a random bone in the chicken parm, my friend and I both found that weird and it was nowhere in the description. Let me start off by saying my first 2 visits were not the best. In fact, This place was sitting on a 3 star rating for a while, but my last visit picked up and made up a little. I waited to wrote this review in hopes that they would redeem themselves from my first 2 visits. The first time I came, I had Lemon Pepper Wings which came to me after a very long wait. When I finally got them, they were basically naked wings, like without any seasoning. I asked for the seasoning and one of the bussers came and brought me a cup of it. I sprinkled the wings with it but when I took a bite, they were SALTY AF!!!!! I then had to shake off all the seasoning to be able to finish them. SMH. I also ordered some Sweet Potato Fries which oddly came to me within about 3 minutes. I almost finished them before I finally got the wings. I was seated at the bar and since it was packed, I sat in the only open seat which happened to be between 2 gentlemen. The guy to my left was ready to go and when he asked for his bill, they had charged him for my stuff. Super weird because we clearly weren't together and I wasn't even talking to him the entire time. He kindly alerted them and they adjusted his bill. My second visit the next day wasn't any better. Went in with 2 coworkers for $1 oysters and Happy Hour. We ordered some cocktails which took forever again, and when we asked about them, we were told they didn't have the blended margaritas ready, so she offered us on the rocks instead. We said okay since we were thirsty on a Thursday. We tasted each other's drink and they tasted exactly the same, even though we ordered different ones. I also ordered a 2nd round of 6 oysters for myself which I never got. I had to let our server know that I never got them, so she took them off the bill. Our server wasn't very friendly and she just looked like she wanted to leave. My 3rd and latest visit is when I had the Tomahawk. My friend and I started off with oysters, then ordered their huge Tomahawk, which came with a variety of sauces and a side of French Fries. This time, we came in a little later, around 730 pm or so. It wasn't as busy, so maybe that's the perfect time to go. Service was great that last time, and our drinks were perfect. Overall, it's a cool place and the decor is pretty gnarly, but I feel like they do need to work out some kinks. Prices are average but Happy Hour is where it's at. The Tomahawk special is $99 on Mondays and Tuesdays I believe, and they come with 2 large sides (we went on a Thursday so we didn't get that special). The last visit brought up my 3 stars to a 4. I'll come again, but I hope they stay consistent!
