We stumbled here after golfing around 8am looking for a place to drink some cocktails(don't judge) and some grub and this place hit the exact spot I didn't know I needed. Everything was amazing!!!!!! We got the southwest sandwich which had egg, cheddar cheese, ham, on a jalapeño cheddar bagel--absolutely phenomenal!! Not even kidding, my new favorite breakfast item of all time! It was a new menu item that Angel (the chef) had suggested as soon as we walked up. We loved it so much we wanted to try more of what they had to offer after we had demolished the bagel. We got the sweet & savory burrito next. It's veggie oriented with egg, cheese, sweet potato, hatch chile, and soyrizo( yes you read it right, and it amazingggg!!!). And the salsa that came with it was delicious and also freshly made!!!(I could eat a bucket of it) Hit the spot for sure! And everything was light and not heavy at all. Angel had came up to us and told us how he just made these new items and we were the first to try them! He made the experience being here go through the roof. Great guy and super talented. We got a few cocktails to try, the strawberry Margarita and the espresso martini, both looked amazing and tasted great! The place itself was super cute in a good location with lots of seating that accommodates everyone who is here to grub or even just working on the computer. Love love love. Just an okay experience. I ordered a hot banana latte and received an iced latte. They did offer to remake, but I was already late for my plans so I had to decline. I took a short Sunday walk from home to Sip to get a coffee to go. I stayed for a little bit to experience the ambiance of the place. The menu is not too big and easy to order. My drink Coconut Cold Brew was taken and made pretty quickly. I sat outside for some sun with the other guests who were all on their laptops. This place screams "third place" YAY During the AM on weekdays this place is basically a "we work" everyone is on their laptops working and sipping delish coffee, the music is vibey but not too loud so I can still take a meeting on my laptop. So I went to the other Sip location in Old Town. Similar vibes in it being very clean and open (the windows were all open because it was nice out, although I think I tad cold in the morning). Plants everywhere, love it. Some outlets but I would have liked more since it's a coffee shop and a lot of people come to stay and work. I had to sit at the bar top which is fine but a little louder up here. The bar top chairs are quite comfy though, leather! The music is nice and happy. If you need silence, probably not the place for you. Some outside noise too with the windows all open. Everyone here is very nice. I got the banana foster again because I loved it last time - with no whipped cream. It was perfect. Tasted just as good as the other location. This drink seemed to be a very popular one from what I was hearing from other orders. read more

Great coffee and fast service! It was extremely busy in the coffee shop with people working, socializing & studying. After placing an order at the counter, my cold brew with cream was out within 5 minutes or so. I was given a table number and my avocado toast was brought out to me shortly thereafter. Both the coffee and the food were super tasty! For the price of the toast, I was disappointed that it was only a single piece of bread but it was nicely made. The pesto and pine nuts in addition to the avocado, tomatoes, and arugula were a really nice touch to enhance the flavors. A white Tesla (with no handicap tag) was parked in the handicap access grid, which blocked me from being able to park safely and exit my van. That space is to provide room for wheelchair ramps and safe access, they should never be blocked. Although staff was friendly and the design/location is nice, the drinks we got were disappointing. The promotional signs made the drinks look interesting and tasty but the actual drinks looked nothing like them. My friend got the strawberry matcha latte which had very defined layers. The picture attached to this review is how it came to her! No defined layers, not very green. She said it tasted like lightly strawberry flavored oat milk, and very little like matcha. She threw it out as soon as we got to the hotel with very few sips. I had high hopes for the horchata cold brew. It was cinnamon-y but not at all like how it was pictured, and over time it sort of started... separating? I dunno, I ended up getting about halfway and tossing the rest. 2/5 because of how different the drinks were compared to how they were advertised. Perhaps it was someone new but it was shortly after 7am when there should technically be a lot of people rolling in for their morning brew. read more

Food used to be amazing, and the coffee was really good. They since have changed a lot and was not worth it anymore. Coffee was only filled 3/4ths of the way, and food was frozen and reheated, but are still charging us the same price as when it was made fresh for order. Not worth it at all. There is a fair amount of seats, but it appears to get busy during popular hours so plan ahead if you're wanting to get a good seat next to an outlet to get work done. I've been to Sip many times over the years and it's a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. Coffee and food have been good and they have a nice little beer selection as well. Ambiance is great. Lots of tables inside and outside on the patio. Haven't had any issues with WiFi and getting some things done. Overall it's just a great spot. They need to open one down in Tempe for me to hit up more regularly. read more

Sip in Scottsdale has the best vibe! It's part artist and strangely almost like a high end beach cafe! It was 7am and of course I needed an expresso martini (or two) and it was none other that the wonderful Gabby who made these for me! Ok so this place used to be hit and miss and in the last series of changes it went to ONLY HIT! The coffee is still good but the addition of craft cocktails.... What an ingenious idea... We've moved from coffee shop to absolute brunch destination with only light or moderate food. For food we tried the avocado toast and I always like to breakfast burrito .. but if you're coming here for just the food, I would highly recommend expanding your horizons into a well-established drink menu. There's plenty of options on tap, but the true gems are the specialty cocktails that they have created - specifically when they combine the fruit fusion or a cold brew coffee in otherwise traditional cocktail. Cold brew old fashion anyone???? The staff was amazing, friendly, and was willing to offer suggestions when I didn't know what to try for my next drink. They steered me in the direction I might not have gone, but was very pleased with the results.!!! Located a little on the edge of old town, it's nice to have somewhere a little quieter. They have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Service is pretty slow but the food is good. I got the Mediterranean wrap and asked for an alternative to the chips it comes with and they were happy to swap it out with fresh fruit for free which was awesome. The wrap was a good size and everything tasted really fresh. The peppers were crispy and the feta plentiful. They didn't drown the wrap in Greek dressing either which I appreciated. I also got their normal black coffee and it was... Pretty bad. Really sour. I couldn't finish. Another time I got a cappuccino which was really good. Regardless, it was a very cute coffee shop with an outdoor area if it wasn't extremely hot. The service was very friendly, and I ordered my avocado toast with an egg on top, which was no problem. I very much enjoyed my food and drink, however, there wasn't a lot of tables available so I ended up eating whilst balancing the basket on my lap on a couch. My friends and I came in after a night out, and this was seriously a great spot for us. We loved the menu options and ended up getting a bit of everything. The girls who were working were really helpful and joked around with us as we ordered. We ordered a bunch of food options (breakfast burrito, bagel, avocado toast, and a salad); and for drinks some of us got beer and smoothies, and I got the kevlar coffee. Everyone loved what they got! The burrito was big, bagel came with a lot of cream cheese, avocado toast and salad were fresh. All of our drinks were refreshing, and the kevlar coffee was interesting with the buttery taste.
