A small group of us visited Hungry Howie's Pizza to try their seasoned crust pies, and had a pretty good experience. In terms of parking, this location has a small lot that's shared with a number of other eateries. The interior is small, but clean and well-maintained. The staff is kind, though a bit harried due to the volume of deliveries and orders they're managing. We ordered two medium pizzas, one cheese and one with meat, with a maximal blend of cheese and spices for our crusts. Needless to say the crust was fantastic, but the cheese and sauce ratio was a little too heavy on the latter. We ended up paying roughly $15 for both with a coupon we had, which is a good deal considering the quality and distinctiveness of the crust. Overall, I'd recommend visiting Hungry Howie's Pizza if you're looking for a new pizza chain to try out (and try to use a coupon if one's available!) read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never order from this place again. We placed our order online at 4pm in advance to have it delivered around 6:15pm. You think with over two hours notice they would be able to get to us relatively on time? Nope. We call the store at 6:40, after seeing a HH delivery driver pass our apartment. First, they hung up on us. We call back and are placed on hold for 7 minutes, for a woman to come back and say that our order will not get to us for another hour. We ask for a cancellation and a refund and were put on hold, again. 7 more minutes pass and a woman picks up and asks if we are someone else, to which we reply no, we have been on hold for so long and want to speak with a manager. Put on hold again. Cue being on hold for roughly 5 minutes. Manager did nothing to make things right. Just gave us our refund and sent us on our way. I get it that the weather is bad and I get that it is Super Bowl Sunday, but if you know you're that backed up that you can't even deliver an order placed hours prior, call the customer and give an update. For a fast pizza chain, this place is great. The deliveries have been quick, easy and friendly. The flavored crust is awesome, I love the rich, buttery one and the cajun one hits the spot when you want a little spice. Wife orders via app for curbside pickup. Great! Kids can come for a ride. Show up with two hungry kids in tow. Call and they say they will be out in 5 after pizza is done. No problem! At minute 5 watch person I talked to go with another employee to vape. At 15ish minutes watch said employees walk back in. Wife then also clicks in app to say we are there. Wait 5 additional minutes pulling right out front of door. Nobody comes out. Go park. Lug two hungry, one crying asking why they won't bring it to us, kids out of car and in to empty restaurant and a different employee gets food after we requested it. No sign of our vapers. I don't need curbside, but if you aren't going to do it, let me know so I can avoid this sort of experience. read more

This isn't your grandmas HHs. Haven't had HHs in twenty years+. Order last night a variety (stuffed crust round, original round and deep dish) and to say no bueno. Pizza Hut stuffed crust is way better. Dominoes original round is way better. And Jets and Buddys deep dish both far superior. Bread sticks are now spicy and covered in all kinds of seasoning that is too strong. Little Caesars crazy bread is far superior, especially for kids. Mine wouldn't eat these. And that says it all when kids won't eat breadsticks. So sadly dissapointed, especially for $45, which isn't low cost. read more

This place has become a local go-to for us. The pizza is not gourmet, but it's good in a pinch. This location has been solid. Delivery to our place, about 2 miles away, usually takes about a half hour and everything always arrives really hot. We have ordered pick-up too, and everything has been ready right on time. Their deep dish version is pretty solid, although Jets might edge it out head-to-head. If you sign-up for their emails or check the website there are usually good promotions to feed a lot of people. read more

Once i got there, the doors were locked bc they had closed like a minute b4. Some low class trashy kid comes up claiming to be in charge. His name is Chris he said. I have placed the order for delivery I had ordered the 2099 deal which is two large pizzas and a Howie bread. My order was placed and paid for I even upgraded to the deep dish cheese bread and I got another large pizza I also ordered two Pepsi's. The money came out of my account I surely received a call back from the manager stating that my car did not go through and it was declined. So I called my bank my bank told me that the money came out of my account. So then I proceeded to call back hungry Howies he told me which is the manager, that I had to pay for the pizza again either with another card or with cash. I told him I had already paid for the pizza. They would not deliver the pizza to me and they would not give me my money back. So now I have to dispute the transaction in my account. The manager was very nasty to me he would not give me any information to be able to contact corporate he told me I had to look online myself. I never had Hungry Howies before I moved to AA and after trying a few legendary spots up here and being less than impressed, I'm happy to say Hungry Howies has moved to the top of the list. Would NOT recommend this place. Placed order for VA hospital. Waited over an hour, called them to be told that our order would not be coming. They said they had called over 5 times, our phone never rang. We called the number given them and it was working fine. We had a very hungry family of a vet plus staff waiting for this food. My star is being kind because this location certainly has some strikes against it. I have ordered pizza from here on a number of occasions, all with new disappointments. First off and most importantly the pizza here is a poor excuse for Hungry Howies, the pizza is flat, perhaps it has to do with the overall design of the suite, as it is very open, usually cold and perhaps not conducive to dough rising, or the college guys working there that behave as if making pizza is the last thing on their mind!? We're wishing for a zero stars option! Hungry Howie's typically has great food. HOWEVER, they were doing a leap year special today (buy one pizza get one for $0.29), but they were completely unprepared for the amount of business this would bring in. We ordered our pizzas at NOON to be picked up at FIVE THIRTY, showed up and was told it would be another twenty minutes. Then at six fifteen, we were told it would be another forty five minutes for our pizza! The man working behind the counter had zero sympathy for the people waiting for the pizza's and was down right rude to everyone.
