I would say I've come to like Hungry Howies pizza from this location. They almost always have my order ready in 10 minutes or less (who else does that) and they run some great specials that I'm notified about via email. This location has screwed my pizza up once, but I checked it before I left and they made me a new pizza and allowed me to keep the screw up as well...so that was nice. One gripe, I have to say, is parking can be very sparse simply because of its location, especially at dinner time. read more

Always heard of this place so I decided to try it while on vacation. I ordered the 2 Howie's roll deal, one pepperoni and one steak. Halfway through I realized both rolls had raw dough on the bottom. The part that was cooked was nothing spectacular at all and lacked flavor. read more

We used to be big fans of this Howies. Regular customers that live 3 miles away that call in orders or more often used the app. We placed an order at 6:15 on a Monday night to have delivered. A med 2 topping pizza and an Italian sub. After all the extra fees and added tip bill was a little over $28. Not an issue. After seeing that the tracker was still in the first mode of making. This is where the tracker moves to immediately after ordered . 1 and 1/2 hrs after order was placed I called the store. A woman answered, checked on my order and said it had been cooked and ready to leave the store for a while. Just waiting on her driver to get back any minute. 20 minutes passed , so almost 2 hours after ordering, and I call again to be told by the same young lady that my order was still sitting there. Now they were waiting on a "Doordash " driver to pick it up but they hadn't showed up yet. At what point does any good restaurant, even pizza place , pick up the phone and call the customer to let them know it's not coming or they don't care when or how it gets there. How old, cold or bacteria ridden from sitting around for a couple of hours. They seemed fine telling me they intended on sending this old food at full price, no coupons or discounts, to me to eat. Regardless of what it might do to my health. On top of everything, it was a request of my son who had just gotten his first job that day at the age of 14 to order from Howies as a celebration. Needless to say, I called and canceled the order. By then it was almost 9pm. Which is when I finally get a text from Howies to say the order is canceled because the store just closed at 9pm. I don't know which to be more upset about. Also left a google review. Corporate was quick to respond that after looking into it, this was not how they train their employees and that they were sorry they failed in every way from service, food quality, lying, etc. To go to this link and the store owner would reach out to make things right. We'll its Thursday and the owner is slower than our order or perhaps just doesn't care about his customers, as he has made zero attempt to contact me as promised. It's clear the owners standards of customer service are as bad as the employees. I see where they get it and why they don't care. Go anywhere else if you feel you deserve the tiniest bit of respect and customer care from a place you frequently spend your hard earned money. You deserve it and they don't deserve a darn thing until they show some consideration for their clientele. Never again read more

For cheap pizza that I'd compare to like pizza hut, or dominos on the quality scale, I have to give it a 5 star. We have ordered twice now and it was fast, easy, and yummy! We used the online ordering process both times, and customized our pizzas and paid - it was very easy to use. Once you hit "place your order" it tells you it'll be ready for pick up in about 10 mins! That's so fast! The first time we used it we thought we had a few minutes before we had to leave to go pick it up, but in reality we had time to put our shoes on and walk out the door lol. When you get flavored crusts usually they're covered in some sort of grease-y flavor-y substance. Hungry Howies have mastered the art of non-messy, yummy flavored crusts!! Both times I have ordered the garlic flavored crust and it is so good without the greasy fingers. Definitely our go to cheap pizza place now! One minor detail I noticed yesterday I went to go pick up, they don't seem to have any sort of door charm, so I was up front for a good 3-5 minutes waiting for an employee to realize I was there to pick up. Not a huge deal. They do have delivery, we've just chosen to pick up both times. read more

I wish they would put one in the Upstate of SC. Had their pizza in Boone NC and was amazing! My son (@ App State) eats there at least once a week. We found them in Myrtle Beach last year and have been enjoying every time we come down. We have tried many pizza joints and this is one of the best! New to M.B., last night my boyfriend and I ordered a large Asian Chicken pizza with a regular SESAME crust and garlic breadsticks. The crust was very good! There was a really nice amount of sauce on the pizza (they weren't stingy) and the toppings were done well. The chicken on it were in strips instead of cubes which I liked. The garlic bread was tasty and had a perfect amount of garlic on top. We ordered online and used a coupon which worked well. The pizza was done in a short amount of time. The location is perfect!
