I went to this location on Dec 5, 2024 and ordered the Cayenne Ranch Chicken Sandwich Meal , it was $11 and some change. The piece of chicken in the sandwich was not much bigger than a nugget. You can see in the attached photo how much smaller it was then the already small roll. This is not a value meal and I suggest you only go there if you've already eaten at Chick Filet, Zaxby's or BoJangles. This place is to be avoided. read more

When this was brought to the attention of the on-duty manager, the response was dismissive, with the comment that the customer "usually brings the card back," suggesting this is a routine problem. The situation was highly inconvenient and stressful, yet despite the store's mistake, my wife was still required to pay for the meal. Not impressed. The potato salad is not special and is clearly not made fresh in house. Lots of bacon flavor and a mushy texture. The chicken sandwich had a bit of an odd taste-I'm not sure if it was that the oil it was fried in tasted a bit old or the honey BBQ had an odd taste. Either way, I didn't love it or hate it-it was just ok. The BBQ was really hard to even find a flavor for. My chicken sandwich had a big hunk of fat or gristle or whatever it was in the second bite, which was a bit off putting. The brioche roll was nice and fresh. Probably won't be back, and I work in walking distance. Confusing how to pick up online orders-there is an arrow pointing to the side counter yet the orders are on the other side and basically it looks like you have to stand in line to skip the line. The employee was not very pleased that I asked her about the process for picking up online orders and handed me my order with no smile and without a word. read more

I've ordered through the drive through 5 or 6 times since they opened and the food is pretty good.. BUT don't expect to actually get what you ordered. Every time I have picked up Slim Chickens for my family, someone is upset because of order issues. Missing sauces, incorrect items, missing items are all par for the course. Service is also slower than a drive through needs to be. Waiting 15 minutes for the wrong food feels pretty bad. Issues with my order today: - gave me a regular chicken sandwich instead of a club sandwich - my sandwich was missing BBQ sauce I ordered. - my sister-in-law's wrap was missing BBQ sauce. - my nephew's kids meal was "shaken" in hot bbq instead of honey bbq. It was way too spicy for him so he ate a poptart instead of the food we bought for him. - the blue cheese sauce we paid extra for was missing entirely. I'll be checking each item in my order before pulling away from the window from now on. Hopefully they can figure out the service issues because the food is good when it's right. read more

The just opened yesterday (10/20/24) finally! Been waiting for weeks and it was worth the wait! The service was great! Greeted by the associates as I walked in. The Ambiance was very nice and clean. The trainer helped me with the app because I got a free sandwich bydownloading the app! The Cajun/ranch chicken and it was perfect. Had some of that sauce for my fries! The food was hot and fresh! I'm going to start this review off by saying that I usually never post any review for anything good or bad but this case it's different. My son was having a mouth procedure done down the street that they said would take roughly an hour and the procedure was fished before the food was ever done! The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 0 is because the lady at the window was nice. Also to add. They took the payment out in the line so they'd have no one drive out the line. Good idea, a little sneaky tho. just made me a little mad. read more

Horrible first experience here. Dull, soulless employees make their dining in sort of disheartening. I also had severe diarrhea shortly after eating the buffalo chicken mac and cheese (I also suffer from IBS but it rarely causes me diarrhea and it wasn't that spicy, so likey food poisoning). Got a 5 pc. chicken tender plate with 2 sauces, fries, toast and tea. They have a lot of sauces, I just got ranch and honey mustard. Several flavors of tea also, I had peach tea and refilled with regular sweet tea. The strips were large, had enough to take some home in a To Go box. I also got an extra side - potato salad. Shoutout to the team working tonight. I did end up waiting an additional 20 min from when my online order said it would be ready. The sandwich was slightly wrong, but everything else with the order was ok. They seemed understaffed, or everyone left the older woman in a black polo to do everything for them. She was multitasking, jumping in the kitchen to get food out, than running orders herself.. she also was visible swamped, with more online orders coming in, and the line getting longer in the drive through. All while the girl at the counter definitely could have been more efficient and customer focused. I don't know if it was just an off night, or the team is missing some help/organization. But I've been to this location before and tonight was the longest wait, and worst food quality I've had from here. And for context, I walked in a couple minutes early for my online order pickup. Great food, no complaints there. Only thing needing a serious change is staff. Wait times are extremely high. One kids meal is 2 tenders and fries- waited 20 minutes at the window?? Ridiculous. I tried this new establishment in Carolina Forest two times over a 3 week period. After my second attempt today, I can say that the meal is consistently TOO SALTY. I thought the first time was a fluke. I ordered the same chicken club today and could barely enjoy it. I am not sure if it is the sauce or if the chicken itself if over-seasoned. The best I can describe it as is you are eating a pickle in a bun. The fries are just okay. The best part of the meal was the Strawberry Milk Shake. Put some instructions and adjust the time to when you can actually deliver the food. I don't care that you're a new restaurant and I don't care that it's busy.
