Loved checking out this place. Outside patio is dog friendly and they have a dog menu too. Nice for the dog lovers. I went for their happy hour which was from 4-7. I had their Paloma which tasted more like tequila than anything haha but good nonetheless. To eat we shared the quesadilla, potato skins, and fried pickles. I liked them all but you can skip the fried pickles! The service was great and our server was nice and attentive. Overall, liked my experience and will check out their other food deals throughout the week.

9 of us showed up just before 4 pm and were seated promptly. (Got lucky). It does get very busy here. Happy Hour menu was extensive. James was our server and he was awesome. Two girls from Wild Turkey were handing out samples of 101 and swag. All in all, a fantastic meal.

We were looking for a local restraunt with a dog-friendly patio to bring our young puppy to for lunch. We were very excited about the dog menu, large covered patio, and great service. This place is amazing for dog owners or those looking for American bar foods. Below are some pros and cons. Pros: * The Sneaky Beagle is dog-friendly and has a large covered patio with tables and leash hooks on the beams. We were given a cup of water for our dog as soon as we were seated! * The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our puppy who is not well acclimated to lots of people, yet. We asked for a corner table and our waitress was very polite about the situation. * Overall, great service from our waitress, the hostess, and other servers. Everyone was very polite and welcoming! * A full dog menu is available with items ranging from grilled chicken, beef, and cupcakes. We got the chicken platter and pupcake-- and both seemed to be great choices for our four-legged friend. * Both the inside and outside are very clean and stylish. The bathrooms are spotless. The decor is eclectic. It's very modern and has a brewery vibe. * The dinner menu is very large and has items you would expect at a standard American bar. Bar foods include tacos, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Cons: * The tables were a little close together. We asked to sit in the corner due to our inexperienced puppy. A table full of little kids were seated right behind us. There were two parties that were seated near each other on the other side of the patio. I noticed their dogs were having a hard time staying at their tables since they were so close. * The food overall was mediocre. I can't speak for the dog menu, because our pup LOVED her dishes. However, my tacos were good, but nothing crazy. The fries had a good taste, though. Overall, this place has great options for people and pups. The outdoor dog-friendly patio is an amazing addition as well as the server that treated our pup just like she was any other customer. Great find!

We came here because of being dog friendly. Great outdoor patio spot and lovely ambience with live music. The portion sizes are huge!!! The salad could feed a family of four. The fish was a huge slab and you bet I ate every bit of it! They even have some treats for your dog, so please ask! O, the beer selections are great! Hefeweizen for me! Cheers!

Huge rustic bar/restaurant with nice dog friendly outdoor dining area. I love the tree slice picnic tables. Came during Happy Hour. Also love that Happy Hour is 7 days a week. Server seemed impatient even though they weren't at all busy. Ordered Hot-yaki & Dry Jerk Rub Wings, the CBR Quesadilla, a Smashburger, and the Cheese Bombs. The Cheese Bombs with the garlic sauce was FANTASTIC!! My friend enjoyed her Quesadilla. My wings were just meh. I asked for them to be well done and they weren't and the sauces just didnt impress me. I was expecting BOLD Jerk flavor and there wasn't any flavor at all. The Hot-Yaki was ok. Sweet with a hint of spice. The prices were reasonable. My only complaint was that there were flies everywhere! Granted, I know we sat outside but when we first sat, there were none. When the food came, forget it. They were everywhere! So to no fault of the restaurant, I was annoyed. So that's my tip: sit inside!

Went here a few years back and the food is still delicious! We got to sit outside and it's so nice out. We tried the new bbq cajun mac and cheese and we tried the OG chicken pesto panini! Obviously good since we keep coming back everytime we're here!

My family came here on our way from Carolina Beach to Charleston. My wife found this place with good Yelp ratings so we gave it a shot. We all liked it much! We were traveling with our dog and the covered outdoor seating was perfect. They even brought us a doggie water cup with her own drinking cup. My son ordered the pepperoni flatbread, my daughter the mac & cheese, my wife had the black bean burger and I had the cuban. We all shared the sneaky ravioli. Loved it! Would come here again and again if we had the opportunity. Also I checked out the outdoor bar - it wasn't open, but looks super fun!

We stopped at Captain George's Seafood Restaurant and it ended up being a great experience…read more It's about $50 for an all-you-can-eat buffet, which I'm usually hesitant about because I don't always eat enough to make it worth it--but this is a seafood buffet with crab legs (my favorite), so we decided to go for it. And it did not disappoint. The crab legs were the highlight--always stocked, served warm, and cooked really well. I tried a few other items that were just okay, nothing super standout, but for a buffet the quality of the crab legs alone made it worth it. We waited about 20 minutes in line to be seated, which wasn't bad, but just a heads up--there wasn't really anywhere to sit while waiting, so that could be a bit tough for anyone who needs accommodations. The desserts were also pretty good, and the place itself is huge. I loved the design details--everything has a nautical/boat theme, even the buffet stations and tables, which made it feel unique compared to other buffets. Service was great. We just had water, but staff constantly came around refilling drinks, clearing plates, and taking away crab leg shells, which made the whole experience smooth. Overall, we left full and very happy--definitely worth it if you're a crab leg fan!

We decided to sit at the bar. The server greeted us promptly, took our drink order, and gave us time to look over the menu. When she returned with our drinks, she explained the specials. My wife ordered the boneless rib roast (I believe that's what it was called) along with the asparagus soup. I ordered the deconstructed Wellington, cooked medium rare. When we arrived, there was only one other table, though a few more couples came in shortly after. I will say up front -- don't be in a hurry. They appear to cook one table at a time. Many of the entrées are served under a smoked dome, which I assume is for presentation. While it looked nice, it didn't add any flavor. My filet and the mushroom-stuffed puff pastry with demi-glace were served with the smoke, but the mashed potatoes and asparagus came on a separate plate. I didn't really understand this, as there was plenty of room to plate everything together. My wife's beef was served on top of her mashed potatoes in a bowl. The asparagus soup was ok needed some more seasoning for sure kind of bland wouldn't get it again. Once we started eating, my wife noticed her mashed potatoes weren't very hot. I checked mine and found that even in the center they were only warm. I asked the server for additional demi-glace since what I had was cold. While waiting, I cut into my steak. I first tried using the butter knife, which didn't work, and had to switch to the steak knife. The meat was cooked great and was tender, but slightly tougher than expected. When the demi-glace arrived, it was still not warm, so I asked for it to be heated again. The second time it came back steaming, which helped warm up both the potatoes. Overall, the food was good, but temperature was the main issue. I could understand this if multiple tables were being served at once, but we were sitting at the bar watching the kitchen, and only one table's food was being prepared at a time. There were two people cooking -- one handling apps and salads, and the other working on the main courses. Perhaps if they worked together, food could come out faster and hotter. That said, we will be back. The food itself was good, and several other dishes we saw going out to other tables looked very good as well. And the desserts sounded good. One star taken away because of the food temp. otherwise 5.

They have a full gluten free menu. The kids menu also includes seafood which I appreciate for my seafood loving crew. I ordered the Fry Basket with Shrimp and Oysters. I honestly didn't take great pictures because we were too busy eating! It was a very busy day the day we were there bc of the Kentucky derby party but we were still seated quickly and our food came out fairly quickly. They take a lot of precautions when dealing with allergies and it was appreciated. They even identify that it is gluten free when they deliver the food as well. I can't wait to return and try the short rib macaroni and cheese. The ambiance is booths and tables around a bar. They also have a great outdoor space due kids to run around and play.

Despite having a reservation, we were abruptly told to wait in line. The hostess then made an unnecessary, snarky comment to the trainee about our party, which felt unprofessional. Service did not improve once seated. Our waitress, Mae, forgot the glass of wine I ordered. When I followed up about 15 minutes later while placing our food order, she responded curtly that she had already heard me. Food service was equally frustrating. A runner delivered my meal along with the wrong dish for my 10-year-old daughter. I clarified the mistake, and both plates were taken back. About 10 minutes later, the same incorrect meals were returned. At that point, my entrée--a $38 Chilean sea bass portion that was already quite small--was likely cold, and I wasn't comfortable eating while my child still didn't have her correct meal. For a restaurant operating in March, well before peak tourist season, this level of disorganization and lack of service is concerning. Overall, not a good experience. I won't be returning or recommending.
