Haven't had this in years and it was lunch time. Why not? Sadly, the cashier was about the rudest young lady I've encountered. No smile. Not friendly in the least and absolutely no help. I apologized and explained it had been a couple years. Just wanted to familiarize myself with the menu. That was met with the heavy sigh of impatience. If there was a line, I'd understand. We were the only ones there. No orders coming in online, either. I understand why no one else is eating here at lunchtime. My fault for not checking the pizza before leaving the building. I know better. We got home and the Italian sausage and the hamburger were left off. They'd given us the Howie Special instead of the Howie Works that we paid for. I ordered food here at least a good 20 minutes before they closed and repeated multiple times I did not want cheddar cheese on my food, and then I got the pizza, opened it, and it was only cheddar cheese, tried to go back inside and they had locked me out. First time here, Last time ever read more

They stopped having their own drivers sending out doordash instead the doordash guy decided to take a $17.00 tip and hand my kid back a $5.00 bill at the door. Always get a good pie at this place. This time the toppings were sparse and unevenly applied. Crust was very good, light and chewy.

I love Hungry Howies but this location has let me down several times... last night we ordered a deep dish Howie Special with garlic crust along with some other things (can't skip the stuffed Howie Bread) when my husband got home I opened the pizza it was burnt... the edges were black most of the veggies were black... I went in to this Hungry Howie's At 7:30 and ordered 1 medium pepperoni and 1 large pepperoni. They told me it would take 15 minutes. After waiting 55 minutes we decided to talk to the person behind the counter. Apparently no one made our pizzas. I ordered a pick-up medium pepperoni pizza and a large greek salad from there today. When i arrived i had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get my order and they had forgotten about my salad and had to run in the back to make it. When i got home i found there was barely any sauce or cheese on the pizza, it was extremely over cooked, and the salad wasn't any better. The whole order was a complete mess. I called to talk to a manager about my bad experience and I was hung up on. Overall it was horrible customer service with no apology from anyone (not even the manager), and terrible food. I order delivery from White Lake Hungry Howies frequently. They are amazing. The food is always good and everything I order is always there. The delivery guy I have had a couple of times "bows" after I pay him. Another one knocks like the police! Lol. Of all the times I have ordered today was the ONLY TIME something wasn't right. I ordered a veggie pizza no onions with my order. After the driver bowed and left I set my entire order in the kitchen. 20 mins later when everyone was going to eat realized their were onions in the veggie pizza. I hesitated because I HATE to complain. Called them, offered to trade this untouched pizza. They brought me a new one for free. A larger size even. Didn't even want the one my friend couldn't eat with onions back. Same delivery guy. He Bowed again and I tipped again because even tho I needed a new pizza without onions and it was their fault I realize EVERYONE makes mistakes and this Hungry Howies location has never faultered on great customer service and great food!!!! 9/24/16 at 7:00 we ordered hungry Howie's like we do every now and than and paid 36 dollars for 2 large pizzas. Both pizzas tasted like fish. Had a overwhelming fish taste. And no there were no anchovies on either pizza. It made my whole family sick. My mother actually puked up this nasty pizza. I had a slice and a half before I couldn't handle it anymore without gagging. We called to get a refund and yes we did get a refund. But the manager Randy had to make it clear "nobody else is calling with this complaint, but I will refund you money we will just void it." Now saying nobody else called is almost saying we were not telling the truth and all we wanted was free food. and a quick thank you goodbye was really on the edge of rude. I am just going to order from Jets from now on. At least the pizza doesn't taste like fish. read more
