Previously The Root, my husband took me here a few years ago. We were sad to see The Root leave but happy to try Stella's Table. My family and I sat on the patio. Nice day for outside seating! We started off with the Parmesan bread. They don't offer complimentary bread but the Parmesan loaf is sooo worth it! It was incredible. I ordered a salad with salmon. My husband and mom got the seafood pasta. My mother in law enjoyed the chicken and my father in the enjoyed a steak. I didn't think we had room for dessert, but we found some. My mom got the pistachio cheese cake. I got the gelato sampler. My in laws got the gelato sampler too. So good. Everything was incredible. So fresh and delicious. Our server was great! I have been dying to try this place since they opened. The stars Aligned on Sunday and Frieda and I went for a late lunch. The atmosphere was very nice, upscale casual. The staff were so friendly, open and attentive. Our server Jeff had great suggestions and was spot on with his advice. We split a Cesar salad and ordered the bread for the table. I agree with a previous review that bread should be complimentary. We than split a pasta dish Something Scotty. It had grilled chicken breast, farfalle pasta, spinach,artichoke hearts and mushrooms. Note: They were under the chicken. It came with an Asiago cheese sauce. It was delicious, but needed more color I.e. Red peppers or sundried tomatos. Wow... where do I begin? What an interesting experience I had last night at Stella's Table. To begin we were seated in the middle section of the restaurant, close enough to hear the kitchen (which will come in handy later). We were pleasantly met by what I can only assume was the manager or owner, though I am unsure due to her failure to properly introduce herself. Then we were greeted by our server, Devin, who forewarned us that he is quite new and still learning. While I am understanding of the position, and kindly offered grace for the novice, it set a tone that the night would be rocky at best. My first complaint arises due to Devin's (perhaps unintentional) condescension toward my grandparents who I was dining with. While interacting with them, Devin spoke in a child like manner, often leaning his body down toward them as one does with young children, and treated them as if they were helpless. I assure you, they are far from helpless. This culminated in Devin loudly stating that either I or my sister needed to assist my grandmother with payment and leaving a tip on the electronic system, when in fact, my grandmother is more than capable of completing on her own. Next, I would like to address the ambience of Stella's which can be summed up in one word: loud! This is not the type of restaurant for a conversation over your meal, as hearing one another is a difficult task if at all doable. Especially dining with hearing devices, I would not consider this environment accommodating or accessible for the hearing impaired. This is when the proximity to the kitchen comes into the story as it added to the noise and I frequently overheard frustration and arguments from the visible galley. Lastly, I would like to write about the food. The only good thing that came out of this visit was the pizza. Regardless of the service or ambiance, the Bianco pizza was one of the best things I have eaten in the last few weeks. The pasta on the other hand was downright foul. Horrible ratio of pasta, to meat, to sauce. It lacked any redeeming qualities and frankly left me wishing I had ordered something else. If you like loud environments, condescending employees, lack luster pasta, and have the desire to pay inflated prices this is the place for you! If not, order the pizza to go and dine in the comfort of your own home and enjoy some quality carb-loaded cuisine. read more

The place was busy when we arrived with both indoor and outdoor seating. We got our table immediately, and our waitress introduced herself. She did a good job of explaining the menial and special. The servers worked well as a team, clearing plates quickly and making sure that we had what we needed. The drinks were good. The arancini was good, though maybe a little too cheesy. ( I think it was the salad. ) The men had the steak sandwich. We both were fine. We left a message to have them call back after we explained what happened. They never got back with us . Our server, Nick, made an excellent first impression that continued throughout the meal. I went here for dinner last night ordered the Reggino with chicken they must cut one chicken breast into four pieces. They were probably a quarter inch thick they give you like 2 1/4 inch thick chicken breast but I'm telling you they must take one chicken breast and cut it into four pieces the sauce was like water consistency with a lemony taste the risotto was terrible more like mashed potatoes with lemon flavor I really do wish they would give you like a soup or salad with your meal as we spent $70 and left hungry. I mean at least give people some bread. My Son got steak Alfredo, which she said isn't on the menu but they can make any Alfredo it was spaghetti noodles. And maybe 2 ounces of steak he was so hungry after his tiny portion I would say 0 stars if it was an option. The the servers were very friendly and so was the front staff. I've gotten Stella's a number of times now and they don't disappoint. The first time I tried their food was on my birthday during lockdown. I had the seafood pasta and even as a takeout dish, it was phenomenal. After getting to try out more of their menu since then, I've continued to be impressed. Despite all the culturally diverse food around, I feel like good Italian food is really lacking in the area. Stella's had filled that void for me. It's a great spot for date night. They have great cocktails and apps, service is warm and attentive, and I personally enjoy the atmosphere. It's a bit of a hike but it's always been worth the drive. read more

What a great dinner we had! Stellas was a little hard to find ... but it was dark and a new place for us. Once we got there, easy parking, no wait, lots of other diners. It felt festive here, clean, busy, happy. A birthday party was going full swing, a good time place. We were in a quiet corner, and it was a wine carafe 50% off special (certain house wines on Wednesdays). How convenient and perfect for our group of three. We started with wine and bruschetta - ahh, great happy hour. Then we each picked a different meal. Lots of choices:, we picked Sliders, Chicken Marsala, Steak sandwich. Our server was nice, welcoming and fast. We didn't realize we were hungry- glad to have more food appear quickly. I enjoyed my meal at Stella's. We had not dined here since it was the Root and saw a new restaurant replaced it. I had heard some good things so we stopped by over the weekend. We started with the baguette stuffed with spinach and cheese with oil and balsamic. It was very tasty. I liked the pull apart bite sized pieces, but since there were only two of us, I helped myself to a larger slice, but the small portions are good for a family or larger party. I had the strawberry basil French 75. It was very basil forward, not as sweet as I would have thought, but pretty good. I also tried the season Sangria, which was cranberry, that was excellent. Not too citrusy or dry. I had the parm burger and parm fries with ranch. The ranch could have been thicker, it was a bit watery, but still good. I subbed the ciabatta roll for a brioche bun. The portions were a nice size. The turkey burger was also good and well cooked. We had the gelato sampler. That honestly for the price was way too small or portions, they could have had bigger scoops but it tasted nice with the biscotti. We also tried the tiramisu which was good. Then I had their dark chocolate mocha with a biscotti, that was really nice. Not too sweet but very chocolatey with some good cream on top. Now that we have been here I would gladly come back, especially with the kids, they also have not been to this spot in ages. A very good up-scale place. I had the pork chop special which had an exceptional sauce that complemented the meal. The server was very informative, prompt and listened to my review of my meal to pass on to the cook. My side was a coconut risotto. I enjoyed it but I thought the two ingredients were fighting each other on the textures. The risotto was cooked perfectly but the chewiness of the coconut took away from the experience. Upon entering its very clean with professional staff with great positive attitudes to work with the general public. To be in a service industry you must love the public and it showed in everyone we encountered. The menu was designed by executive chef Michael Olday. It's interesting and has his unique twist in it. I can tell he is using all high quality ingredients and care in purchasing ingredients. The spaghetti and meatballs are very good. The meatballs are homemade. Maybe a little more sauce and spice in the sauce. The baguette was garlic and Parmesan with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. It's $4 extra and that seems odd for a $16 spaghetti not to come with bread but it was absolutely incredible and one of the best breads I have ever had in quality and flavor. The Arancini superb and beautifully plated and served. With Parmesan risotto breaded and fried with a Pomodoro sauce it not only looked beautiful it tasted beautiful. This is a excellent restaurant and we will definitely come back and try different menu items. read more

Been meaning to try this place for awhile, and I'm glad I finally was able to. The inside is cute and there's a small outdoor patio offering a stunning view of the parking lot. The service was exquisite, which is painfully rare. The food was amazing. We got the garlic and herb baguette, goat cheese fritters, mushroom ravioli, and the vineyard salad w salmon. The baguette was delicious, but a bit ridiculous and small. Truthfully, I find any place that charges for regular bread to be a bit ridiculous. 99% of restaurants offer a complimentary bread basket, and while their bread was good, it was not any different than the delicious and free varieties of other places. The goat cheese fritters were scrumptious, but again priced ridiculously. $14 for two small fritters, a handful of crackers, and a tablespoon of jam. The mushroom ravioli was delicious; the sauce was a highlight. The salmon on my salad was amazingly crispy. I ended up requesting a different dressing, the white vinaigrette, because the cider dressing was not to my taste. After switching that out, it was great. To finish off, we got the chef's dessert special: lemon blueberry cake. The cake itself was divine, but the frosting on top was too thick and the dusting of coffee or chocolate (or maybe it was both, I couldn't tell) on top didn't gel w the rest of the dessert. Overall, great food and service w some room for improvement. And maybe a bit of a reality check on the prices. read more

I was not a fan of the previous restaurant in this location which for some irrational reason made me hesitant to try Stella's. Now I could kick myself for not going sooner! Where do I even start with what I love? The service. It was incredible. Everyone was so nice, helpful and awesome. The drinks. All you really need to know is adult Italian sodas are life. I personally recommend them with gin! We had a few different appetizers which were fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. For entrees, our party had tortellini, chicken Parmesan, chicken piccata and the whitefish. All were hefty portions and delicious! I can't wait to try just about everything else on the menu!
