We went all over the island looking for help fixing it and everyone suggested laser removal with the promise of redoing it after the laser removed the tattoo. We went to Kings Avenue tattoo and words can't even describe how great this place is. It's upscale, clean, and professional. We met with a tall thin man with a shaved head (his name escapes me) and he immediately validated us and asked what he can do. My fiancee cried and he was extremely empathetic and sat with us for a long time talking about options. He was the only place who said he could do ANYTHING besides laser. We told him he could have complete artistic freedom as long as it didn't look so obviously botched. He told us to come back for an appointment and he would see what would be possible. No exaggeration, the artist worked complete magic. He actually took zero artistic freedom and somehow fixed it to how it was originally supposed to be. The tattoo is almost perfect and when we showed people afterwards they could not believe the difference. I am extremely detail oriented and I stared at the tattoo for a long time and it was literally perfect. If the original had come out like that, we would've been thrilled. If the owner reading this remembers this travesty we brought in and can remind me of the artists name, he and the original man we spoke to were saints. This is the only place we and our family would ever go for more tattoos, this place deserves to stay open forever. Thank you so so much for saving something as permanent and emotionally based as a tattoo, it means more than we can say.

They chat you up a bit and then you meet your artist. In my case I had Chris Raft who was an expert in eastern and Japanese traditional tattoos. He draws up an example, prints it out and brings you back into the room. This place has separate rooms for each artist. Super clean and upscale looking. He laid down the stencil making sure it's positioned in the exact way wanted. He laid down the finest outline I ever had, filled it in with color that was flawless in every way. Talking the whole time making me feel comfortable. Super cool guy, when it's all done give you the opportunity to review it, take your photos for the gram, and gives you two different ways of protecting it. They have a second skin and the old school way of protecting your investment. The prices here are on the higher end but the services justified the price. You have to remember this is a permanent investment and you shouldn't go by price alone. I will be coming back here to get more work done with Chis in the very near future.

Their online booking system is great and allowed me to communicate with Nicole regarding my tattoo. When the time came to head over to the shop, I received a text with the waiver and a place to upload an image of my license. Much better than handling all that paperwork in the shop! Nicole was great and personable and made sure I was more than happy with the stencil placement prior to actually tattooing me. There were only two others in the shop so it was a rather quiet experience except for Nicole and I chatting (which I appreciated). The aftercare balm they suggest is only $5 which is a nice touch! They also give you an aftercare bag full of goodies, including a lollipop.
