Joey at Timmy Tattoo was great! We walked in the day of and they fit two of us in for small tattoos. Joey was kind, patient and explained everything to us. Adjusted the size, placed the stencil multiple times, made his recommendations and listened to everything we wanted. He was funny and friendly and made it a great day! The pricing was very well priced too. We got a small, 2-inch tattoo, numbers and a small crescent moon and it was $100 which is the shop minimum. The tattooer, Andrea, was cold and very unfriendly. She was rude when I asked her to cover my finished tattoo and said "I guess so" when I asked if she was going to put a dressing on it. My tattoo is now infected and I am on antibiotics. I have over 10 tattoos and never had a problem. Come to find out that Andrea is an apprentice. I am fine with an apprentice but I would have liked to have been told which is common courtesy since it's a permanent mark on my body. Not to mention it was 80 dollars from an apprentice tattooer. Overpriced, rude, and an infection. Do not come here! read more

After my tattoo artist (Gin Hicks) came over to this shop, I just had to follow her. She had started a rather large tattoo on my foot, traveling up my leg, two years ago and I decided to go ahead and extend it some more. So a friend of mine and I headed over to Timmy Tattoo and found Gin and got new ink. Gin is an amazing artist. She's friendly and very upfront and honest about what looks good and what doesn't look so good. The shop is larger than it seems when you look in from the window. There are two tattoo stations in the front that are kept very clean and very organized. In the back there are piercing stations and old-school tattoo chairs you can sit on. The shop is very welcoming and again, very clean. I'll definitely be back to get some more work done. read more

I had gotten a finger tattoo that wraps around my finger at this place & while doing my tattoo my tattoo artist insisted various times that she would touch it up when it was healed but told me she would not redo the part of my tattoo that was on the palm of my hand. So I thought okay maybe if I tell her I'll pay her double since she specified 3 times she wouldn't redo the inside she'll consider doing it. Then 2 1/2 months later I message her and ask her if she can redo the tattoo & that I was even willing to pay her double for it, & she just replies with a crazy attitude. Like excuse me u caught an attitude with me over saying u said??? She specified literally 3 times she wouldn't do the part on my inner hand & then when I offered her more money she caught an attitude.. honestly... immature, unprofessional, and unmotivated. I went in as a walk in and asked Luke Loporto to do a simple three triangle tattoo on my tricep. It was only after I got home and looked up his Instagram that I felt like a total noob for asking him for my simple geometric tattoo given the amazing work and large size portraits he does. But at the time, Luke made no fuss or judgement over me wanting to get something so simple, and my tattoo turned out great. I've never been disappointed with the work or the artists there. Their styles differ from one another so if you're looking for something specific you're bound to find someone you like. Each artist is nothing but professional in dealing with clients & artwork. From my parents wedding portrait to the moth on my throat, he always amazes me with his prodigious artistry! The shop has such a good vibe, everyone always makes me feel welcome! And most importantly the shop is ALWAYS clean, everyone is ALWAYS professional, and the work is ALWAYS quality regardless of which talented artist you choose! The guy I met with wouldn't listen to anything I said. He was rude, belittling, aggressive, unprofessional and insulting. Obviously I left without getting my tattoo since he essentially refused to give me a tattoo that he deemed "unworthy" of his brilliant artistry. Any tattoo artist that can't figure out how to fit 6 letters on someone's wrist where and how they want it CERTAINLY isn't an "artist". This was supposed to be my first tattoo. A very meaningful and important thing that I've wanted for many years. I'm really discouraged and distressed by this awful experience. read more

I had a tattoo done at Timmy Tattoo whilst on holiday, and I would thoroughly recommend it. I walked in and met Sara, who was confident that she could do the design that I had printed out and brought in, but it took several attempts and a couple of hours for her to sketch something close to what I had intended. However, once we finally agreed on the tattoo she went above and beyond my expectations - keeping the shop open late and working beyond the agreed time to get it finished. It's more or less healed up now and I love it! The atmosphere in there is relaxed and not intimidating at all like many other tattoo parlours I've been in. I have especially high praise for Luke LoPorto, who has been the artist for 90% of my existing tattoos, 100% of my boyfriend's tattoos and most likely 100% of my future tattoos. You clearly know nothing about tattoos, since you mentioned it being your first time. It is part of his job as an artist to tell you it won't always work out how you want it. Often people don't realize that it isn't possible to make tattoos as small as they like. He gives input because this is what he does every god damn day, he knows what he talking about. I love all my tattoos by Luke. He's one of the best artist I have ever come across. I wanted a tattoo of my recently deceased dog which was a black lab. It's very easy for it to just look like any dog, but he took the time and the effort (by pulling different photos and Photoshopping different aspects of my dogs face to get the best characteristics). The day of my appointment I said if it doesn't look like my Hershey, I'm not getting it. I was completely blown away, and even my dad who does not like tattoos can't believe how well Luke brought the image of Hershey to life for me. It's YOUR fault for getting a tattoo you didn't like, I'm pretty sure you sound like a pain in the butt, and he'd probably rather be working on things for people that know how amazingly talented he is. Luke is hands down one of the best tattoo artist that has ever done work on me. You just know nothing of the tattoo culture and sound like a brat. read more
