Made sure we had everything we needed & were extremely kind and helpful. Megan, our hostess for the event, was so so friendly and it was like we had known her forever. She was such a gift to work with. We already loved Harvey Bakery, but now, with deeper context, we know that the company is run by individuals who actually care about their influence on your engagements. It was like she was rooting for our gathering the same as we were. Like she'd been along for the ride the entire time. We will definitely use the space again & recommend it to anyone who wants a flawless gathering with a homey feel.

Our server was nice but a little discombobulated. I think she may have been overwhelmed by all the people and was very forgetful. We got our food rather quickly. Our server kept forgetting items in our order and had to make multiple trips to get them. The dinner rolls were big and good according to my table who enjoyed all of them. I got a 1/2 lb mushroom Swiss burger without the bun and a side salad. My burger was dry and unremarkable for the price. One of my people got the catfish and said that it was delicious. He really enjoyed it with the green beans. Another got the chicken fried steak and had a similar reaction as my burger. It was dry and the gravy didn't really help save it. I did try a café au lait yesterday that tasted a bit watered down, but everything else has been on point. What really keeps me coming back is the experience. The customer service is always warm and welcoming, and the book selection is impressive--no matter what genre you're into, you'll find something here. I also love that it feels community-oriented. They also host book and craft clubs. We've been here a few times now, and it somehow gets better with each visit--always a slightly different experience. I picked up a few books for my upcoming trip, so I'm excited to finally slow down and get back into reading.
