This shopping center continues to be a neighborhood gem. They literally have everything. Discount retailers, market, specialty shops, restaurants, gym, and a movie theater. I work in Hunt Valley and visit Towne Centre all the time for grocery shopping, lunch, and general shopping. I've probably visited it dozens of times but never thought to review it until recently. The shopping center offers a ton of shops, restaurants, a great Wegman's grocery store, a movie theater, and more. I frequent CAVA, Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Wegman's, Izakaya 68, and several of the shops (J.Crew Factory, DSW, Michael's). It's convenient and has a great variety of businesses, but the traffic in and out can be a little crazy. Other than the occasionally crazy parking or traffic to get in and out, it's a really convenient shopping center. read more

It makes such a difference when customers are greeted with easy access to parking right by an entrance. It feels like a small thing, but it sets the tone for the entire shopping experience. When vendor employees take those prime spots, it can definitely feel like they're taking away that initial "wow" factor, especially for guests who are looking to get in and out quickly. It would be great if businesses could implement better internal policies around this--like designating employee parking further away or offering incentives for those who park in spots further from the store. That way, they create a better first impression for customers, which could definitely have an impact on overall sales and satisfaction. read more

Verizon store Shawan Rd I was denied service because I was picking up equipment at this store. I waited for over an hour for a process that took only a minute to complete! The employees conversed and helped everyone else that entered the store. Was this discrimination, poor employee training, or lack of respect for the elderly? I am a long time Verizon customer and extremely disappointed! read more

Hunt Valley Towne Centre - Only some are welcome at Verizon Hunt Valley store - Shopping Centers Near Me - Cockeyville, Maryland

I remember long ago when this was the site of a large mall. I enjoyed going there with my grandmother, and hold some sweet memories of shopping there. I was happy when it was resurrected as the Hunt Valley Towne Center, keeping a few stores after remodeling, and adding many more. After years, this outdoor shopping center is still thriving. I enjoy shopping at Marshall's, DSW, Ulta, Land's End, Homegoods and Wegmans. I also like that you have your pick of eateries scattered throughout including chains like Panera, Peet's Coffee, Chipotle, CPK, Iron Rooster, Chick-Fil-A and Sakura, as well as local places like Barrett's Grill,and Echo Frezsco. These are just a taste of what they offer here. And they seemed to have curbed their problem with teens loitering a bit. I'll update when the weather gets hot, as that's the true test of how well they control the loitering. The Center is at the end of the Baltimore Light Rail- it's the last stop. So it can be convenient for those using mass transit, though the overwhelming majority of patrons are drivers. Hunt Valley continues to be a staple for me. read more

I love this outdoor shopping center. It reminds me of The Avenue but quieter. There's normally not a lot of people at this location. A majority of the attendees are 21+ years unlike some other malls that attracts a younger crowd. There are a variety of stores to choose from. I prefer the Italian Bakery on the top level - the gelato's are authentically delicious. There is a pet store, plenty of restaurants and a cinema. It's great to walk around outside and go into the various stores. Not a bad way to spend your day. read more

Great place to park, shop and eat. During the cooler months (fall and winter) there's a large, double sided, gas fireplace that burns in the center of the shopping area. Parking can be a challenge, but there is more parking on the top level where the theater is. It's all outdoor shopping so dress warm if going here during the Christmas season. There's a good choice of restaurants to choose from including CPK. read more

This place is always insanely busy, but I can totally see why. It actually has a bunch of places that draw people to the area. Calvert Wines and Spirits is usually our draw for their large selection of, well, everything. There are also a number of restaurants (including Carrabba's which for some reason is not in Western PA yet so my husband on occasion may want to go there), a ginormous Wegman's (which I would prefer over Giant Eagle if we had that option here in Pittsburgh too). A great shopping area, with great amounts of traffic so be prepared to navigate a crazy parking lot (and they seem to always be adding new additions so this adds to the crazieness!). read more

At times I order my groceries for delivery to my home but this trip I picked up my groceries. When I called the customer service line the lady who answered was very rude. The pick up experience is not something I recommend. The lady did not even ask if I was in the overflow lot. I received a receipt in my email saying the order was completed. I never received my groceries and I called the customer service line back I spoke to the same lady and she said "I never ask if you are in the over flow lot" well maybe you should as people some people never pick up groceries. Staying at a nearby hotel we were delighted to find a fun and very inviting town center to enjoy. We strolled around, shopped and stopped for a light dinner. It was a few days before Xmas and the place was beautifully decorated. We almost missed the fire place in the middle which we thought was a nice touch. We felt very safe, in fact people seemed friendly as we opened and held doors for one another. Oh, and Security was visible as we saw a few guys walking as well as driving around the mall and parking lot. Luckily it was one of the unseasonably warm days so walking outside was perfect. The restaurants seemed to all be chains and not overly exciting but we still welcomed the convenience. It is not a large Town Center but it seemed to have a nice selection of stores. I think most people would enjoy. We certainly did. read more

I like the place, and I used to go here a lot more often when I lived closer. There is a large selection of places to eat.. Greene Turtle, Sakura, Chipotle, Noodle & Co, Panera, and more. Oh, and a Wegmans, which is probably what draws most people to the area. I like that they have a policy where kids under 16 (I think) have to be with an adult after a certain hour. It really cuts down on annoying kids for the most part. I'm not sure why they are building more shops, when half of the center is vacant. Filene's basement was shut down a few years ago and has stayed empty. Walmart moved, and the Best Buy that replaced part of it just closed down. The bowling alley/Ray Lewis wonderland project that was supposed to take up the remaining space never came to fruition, so now all that the extra buildings will do is take away parking space. Tell me the new Joe's Crab Shack (supposedly) couldn't have used part of the existing structure, instead of being built literally right outside of Panera? You already have to plan on parking far away and walking, now it will be even worse, and for no point. read more

We came here because my husband planned for all of us to see the "Concert in the Park" here which is no "park" at all.. My 4 stars is coming from the fact that there are so many options in this shopping center for both retail and food. The real prize is on Fridays during the summer where they have a live band and hand out free chairs to use (you give them your drivers license for 2 chairs) while you enjoy upbeat music as watch all the children dance together in a group and the occasional cute couple with dancey feet. All this is happening at the middle of the town center where the st goes through it all but they block it off with cones for the duration of the concert. I don't think I will travel an hr to get here again but I would if I was already in the area. Beautiful towns center, well kept. read more

On a nice day, I love to walk around and shop at Hunt Valley Towne Centre. It's designed to be a more upscale outdoor shopping center. There's a lot of variety here: movie theater, restaurants, DSW, Carvel, Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory, Dick's, Wegmans, Greetings and Readings, and a lot more. And I hear they're working on adding a bowling alley as well. This place is also very convenient to get to because its right on the light rail. On summer nights, they have Friday night concerts and its a great place for the whole family. read more

This place used to be called Death Valley Mall. Dick's and Sears were the only reason to go there. Then Wegman's moved in and the place went stratospheric. Nice, safe, clean indoor/outdoor mall. If you are in the area, stop by, there is something for everyone. read more

Fun place...a lot of great stores and parking isn't too bad. I particularly love their Friday night concerts in the summer. I've been a few times this year, most recently this past Friday where I saw a group called "the Legends" play. They were great. Greetings and Readings offers chairs to anyone with a drivers license they can hold (which makes it even easier because you don't have to schlep chairs). And when the weather is nice, it's really fun! Lots of little kids up dancing and some older couples really enjoying themselves. A really fun and pleasant evening on a Friday...and then we went to California Pizza Kitchen for a bite to eat which rounded out the evening quite nicely. read more

Too small, although I may be spoiled by the St Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL which is about 6 of these combined.

Very nice lay out and clean. Parking space is well and lots of restaurants around the area. The location is safe and typical suburban.

My husband and I really enjoy going on dates here - shopping, movies, dinner, groceries, love the pet store and cafes! Reminds me of some of the more relaxed but still really nice shopping centers from down south. Love it! read more
