Welp, I've done the Christmas tree thing here and the pumpkin thing, and I can tell ya they are both spendy. Like, crazy spendy. I got a tree here a couple years ago and paid over $80... I thought I was going to die at the cash register. I'm still here, obviously, and didn't learn from that experience. Fast forward to pumpkin patch 2018 with friends. First, they're supposed to open at 9:00... it was 9:15 when the gate opened. Went to the office and bought our tickets for the different rides and such. $1 per ticket and you can get money back at the end for any not used. There were some adorable baby goats that my kiddo couldn't get enough of. They were for sale, too. I'd love a goat! We left the barn and went out to the ATV ride. Where we waited, and waited, and waited. 9:30 and someone tells us it'll be ready in another 15 minutes. Okay. So much for being open and ready to go at 9am. So, we moved onto the giant slide. It was wet and being wiped down. Not ready. Giant jumping thing... wet and not ready. Corn maze! Yes! 6 tickets for the corn maze. Stupid me gives the attendant both sides of the tickets equaling 12 tickets. It took me a hot minute to realize what I'd done. I asked the person for the six tickets back and she said she couldn't help me. I had to go to the cashier. Okay. Annoying but I got the tickets back. Off to the pumpkin picking. They have plenty of carts for you to haul away the goods. We spent a long time finding the right ones. Once you're done they'll "measure" them by looking at them and then hand you a slip of paper with some gibberish on it. You then take that piece of paper to the cashier where they tell you your three pumpkins and a carving kit are $49. What?!?!? I wish I had the nerve to say no thank you. Thankfully, my other pumpkins came from a store for $5.99. The pumpkin patch is great for some family fun but is hard on the pocketbook. It'll be a hard decision to make in the future.

My wife and I got our beautiful 6 1/2 grand fir Christmas tree for a really reasonable price. Everyone there was super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Just make sure you get there before dark if you want to cut your own tree down.

This place is great! Not only do they do Christmas trees but they also do a huge pumpkin patch. This place is more of a holiday destination. They have many animals to see and pet, as well as a huge goat petting area with the goats walking on planks to the higher part of trees. We love coming here as a family and making an event out of getting a tree or pumpkin. They have convenient tractor rides that go all over their acreage in order to pick out exactly what you want. They have rides for the kids as well as other events for the family. Be sure to go early as possible to pick up the best pick of the crop. We have been going here for years and look forward to it every year.

Went here for the pumpkin patch, was much more than just a pumpkin patch, grandkids had a great time seeing the animals, riding rides, and running through the corn maze. Great place for a family outing for a few hours.

Got our pumpkins from here this year the second week of October. We set them on our covered front porch until we were ready to carve. The weekend before Halloween and we were going to carve the pumpkins we bought and lo and behold they are ALL rotten now. Just a disgusting liquid mess on the inside and the bottom practically falls out picking them up. Very unhappy after spending $40 on pumpkins to find I can't carve them with my Wife and Son.

Finally got to check out Hunter's for their pumpkin patch even though they have been open since the end of September and I live fairly close. They sure pack a lot of things on their farm. If it had been better weather we would have done the corn maze, they had one for adults and one for kids plus a hay maze with a pretty cool slide. They have thee cutest baby goats that you can feed. I probably spent too much time hanging out there, but wait there's more, they have a very plump pig with a sweet disposition, we became friends NBD. Despite the rain the patch was not muddy at all and my family enjoyed searching for the perfect pumpkin! They have some really cute places to take pictures too. Every single person who helped us was incredibly nice and i felt like they were genuinely happy to have us stop by. We will definitely be back around Christmas time!

Fun spot for pumpkins and Christmas trees. The staff was friendly and the animals look fat and happy :) we really enjoyed our visit here.

I was very disappointed. I came here in the past for a Christmas tree and this place was amazing but as a pumpkin patch it sucks. There was no one and no excitement there. I have week days off so I took my almost three year old here to have some fun and she didn't want to stay. I should have chosen a different pumpkin patch to go to.

This is a fun farm for a family visit. (Pumpkin patch pickin' for Halloween) and reasonably priced trees for Christmas. They have a friendly Santa Claus the kids can visit and you can snap a photo with for free, as well as free hot chocolate. You can take a tractor pulled wagon / sleigh ride out to cut down your own tree - or pick one in the barn - that has been pre-cut for you. A boy scout troop is on hand on the weekends to shake the loose needles and wrap the tree with twine for easier transport. Plus there is a small area to pet goats, pigs, etc. All-n-all not bad for being just on the outskirts of Lacey.

This is a nice pumpkin patch with plenty of activities. Went there yesterday with my kids and 6 Grandchildren, unfortunately the weekend prices break the bank. It's really hard for the kids to see what all is there, but they could only choose a few activities due to the prices. $8 for a camel or pony ride? $3 for a slide, $7 for 3 slides. $3 for the pillow jump. When you have 6 little ones it adds up quickly. Having to say no and limit the activities, spoils what should have been a great time. Plus the cost of pumpkins. We will find a different pumpkin patch next year.

Our annual Christmas tree hunt goes not farther than Schilter Family Farm…read more The Thanksgiving week end usually slams this tree farm. However, we always find a quality Noble fir if even we have to hunt a bit. This year was REALLY unusual. The Monday after T Day we went with the idea we'd have to spend time searching. The most helpful young man pointed us to a new field of Nobles. And there, no more than 10 feet in from the path was IT (visions of Clark Griswold!). There were countless more even after that Turkey Day rush. The same man came by in his tractor and asked if he could cut it down for us. He had a chain saw. I had a hand saw. No brainer!! The service and selection are first class. Topping this off is the gift shop, where you pay, has all sorts of Christmas related things, including fresh wreaths (which we bought)

Being a homeowner I've been to a lot of hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, etc. And because…read moreLowes is the closest to our pos, it's usually our go to. Now from my experience past and present, it seems that most of the folks that work there (and other hardware stores) seem kinda "habut" (pidgin Hawaiian for grumpy), not very proactive when it comes to customer service. Almost seem kinda annoyed at customers. I don't know how many times I've walked by an employee w/o being acknowledged or asked if I needed help with anything. When I do need help I always end up, 1. trying to find someone in that department and 2. asking for help. It's not to say they don't help, you just have to ask. Years of this I've kinda grown accustomed to hardware store customer service being this way. Never rude, more ignored and not engaging. This also taught me to be somewhat independent and resourceful, pretty much knowing the layout and aisles to find what I need. Then one post Thanksgiving day I stop by the Lowes in Lacey while visiting family to pick up some stuff to fix stuff around my mom's house. Through out my entire visit to that store I swear I didn't walk past one employee w/o a greeting or being asked if I need any help finding anything or what not. In all my years I don't think I've ever had this kinda customer service from a hardware store EVER! Normally they don't say anything as I walk by, in some instances they kinda walk the other way or avoid eye contact. Not this Lowes, I was greeted, smiled at, talked to. I almost didn't know what was going on. Now I don't know if it's like that all the time at this particular Lowes , but I say this with the utmost sincerity, this was the most nicest, helpful, pleasant experience in a hardware store I have ever had! Goodness, if they are like this all the time it would almost be worth that two hour commute just to shop there from my house...almost. And to top it off, I found everything I needed. As for customer service from this particular visit, 5-star!
