We were very happy with each phase of our first day with this company. They set us up with their 1st available appointment that was over a month out, but put us on a call earlier list if there is a cancellation. This was great for us, because as retirees we could be available at a days notice. Both of us got calls to come in earlier than our scheduled appointments. Front desk staff were very efficient at processing Maggie & I as 1st time patients. The dental team makes the 1st appointment 2hrs long to do a very thorough exam. They want your input to get your level of involvement in the dental care process. The equipment they have is top of the industry standard. It gives the patient a good view of dental issues, allowing a more knowledgeable choice by patient & Dentist. We never felt pressured to additional care that wasn't truly required at the present time. We were given a break down priority list of items needed & told they would work with us on payment steps based on the priority list. Even given discounts on how payments can be made. Burned bad! I needed a new dentist, or so I thought…read more went to Tijeras location. Had X-rays and cleaning. Knew I needed a crown my last dentist had said. Yep, Gaylina Reachi found it did, then added two other back teeth needing crowns. She did not show me the X-rays which every dentist had always done. Very unprofessional I felt. I went back to my old dentist who had taken X-rays recently. He did the one crown he'd noticed. I ask about the other two crowns Gaylina Reachi said I needed. No crowns needed on those teeth he said. For dentists to prescribe unneeded dental work is a practice that is wrong, fraud dentistry and harms patients oral health and essentially steals their money. It is morally wrong in every way. Office policy is that it is the patients responsibilty to know their dental coverge, not the dentist. I feel All parties must work together to reach a satisfactory outcome. I will never cross the threshold of their doorway and happily spread my experience.

If you are a new patient and your in pain I would not recommend going there as you will not even be acknowledged even when they are overstaffed in the office there was over 4 ladies sitting upfront and not 1 had the decency to inform us . Usually you would thing around the 15 minute mark you would be acknowledged For sure by the 20 minute mark after a past due appt time then to go into the 45 minute mark and finally asking about how much longer it will be to have another lady with 0 care for patients time and 0 empathy about the fact you schedule us in at 10 :40 and then don't even say anything is incredible rude and totally unacceptable as a place that is suppose to care about a patient and thier health and feelings ! Last time I was here I had a tooth ache but they couldn't tell me why. They did explain my bill in great detail and offered me an appointment a month away with a specialist, which I laughed at. I came back the following Monday to see the specialist, still in pain and I still wasn't given a direct answer. I was given another bill and they told me they didn't know what was causing the pain but I may need another crown for $1200. Weeks later and the pain has resolved and I save $1200. This seemed like a scam and I won't be back. No answers but sure provided me with bills and billed my insurance.

I had very friendly interaction with both Tristan (dental assistant) and Christopher (office manager I believe), as well as Dr Taylor. They were very forthcoming about care options going forward and set up expectations for costs. I now have some professional input to inform my choices on what to do next. As I was being escorted out, I asked about payment for this visit (single x-ray, brief exam & consult with dentist) and was informed there was no charge for initial visit. That struck me as very generous of them. So I had only positive interaction with the staff & leave with a good taste in my mouth for the way they run their practice.
