TERRIBLE experience with them installing a kitchen backsplash through Lowe's. The final product did not at all look like the sample in the store. They blamed the type of tile that was chosen and did not respond to Lowe's inquiries for long periods. Chris, a supervisor, came to look at it. He was unpleasant and kept making excuses that did not make sense. Steer clear of this company if you want good service and a quality installation. read more

i'd give a zero, but it wouldn't let me. Not only did they cut it at like two something in the afternoon and didn't leave almost 9 o'clock it's a brand new house, remodeled, freshly painted from the person that sold it and they're installers pulled the metal railing upstairs off and dropped it in my wall. across another wall and left scraped in the drywall and indentation into the wall, there was no paint left behind by the owner and I had a me an estimate stating he could try paint but couldn't guarantee it so I told him just to try to paint it throughout it as close as he could and I got a quote and submitted the quote with they finally admitted that admitted to the damage they offered me a measly $200 which didn't even cover the material stack or paint so there was no labor in the price. I got a quote the paint for from three companies I gave them the lowest quote only answer the cover part of it because I was having other stuff done the 1800 would cover painting the hallway and down where it would blend it In and then put the hallway coming through the front door area since it all goes together and flows the kitchen and dining room room we're gonna get painted a different color and my living room room at a different color so that wasn't in the price told me the 2 that's all they're so do not hire them. They will destroy your home and be stuck paying for the in the process of dealing it with a lawyer. read more

Purchased carpet through Lowes who contracted the installation to Hunter's Flooring. Installers left a huge hole in my wall and I was out $1800 to have repaired and have the area repainted as I didn't have any paint or know the color (just moved in). Hunters admitted to causing damage but refused to make it right. Lowe's didn't care either. read more

They came out to measure for a new carpet and said they'd get back to me with an estimate. Then, when they got back to me with what I thought would be the final estimate for the installation they said the measurements would have to be done again because the original measurements weren't uploaded into their system. Now mistakes happen and I understand that, but they didn't even apologize. They just asked when I could be there for them to redo the measurements. They acted as if I were the problem in asking why I had to redo what had already been done. I asked "so why can't you upload them now? I had to make arrangements to be there for the first measurements and they didn't seem to care about any of that. Had they simply said, 'we messed up. We're sorry," all would have been ok. Instead, they said "I don't know why, when can you reschedule?" Not good. This place does the flooring for Lowe's so be aware. read more

Hunter flooring works with Lowe's. I ordered carpet and I was told it would be installed by October 18 almost a month later. My carpets aren't complete. Hunters flooring sent out a Janky sub contractor who was rude and didn't want to do the carpet because it wasn't parking in front of the property for him to unload. Eventually he unloaded in the street and parked, the subcontractors cut the carpets wrong and ended up short on carpet. They did half the job never came back. Now I'm on the phone fighting to have Lowe's refund my money. read more

Kevin and his crew are very helpful and always available for a call when needed. I contracted through Lowe's for porcelain tile install, halfway through the crew realized there was a slight color mismatch and immediately stopped work to rectify so the correct color/tiles are installed. Lowe's finally found the correct match and Hunters crew will be picking up and finishing my floors. I am so happy that the crew had the presence of mind to recognize the slight variation and stop work immediately or I would have been one unhappy customer! I wouldn't recommend them . I had the worst experiences with them . There's a disconnect between management and the workers . They don't even know what job they come to do and that is not the workers fault it's management . First time , they were supposed to come and remove my tiles to apply planks . The worker came and said he wasn't informed of tile removal and he didn't have the equipment . I said to myself " bro , does management not go over with you the job that I paid for and agreed on " it's so stupid . So I had to waste a whole day because these morons don't respect the customer enough to make sure they are on point . Then the second time it was almost the same scenario . Mind you I paid for tile removal and plank installation . The guy comes and is bewildered as to what the hell is going on . Once again I said to myself " my guy , does management even go by the job with you " I finally had to just say f*** it just instal my planks . I don't need to hear the worker whine on how much work it is or how he doesn't have the equipment or how the floor might get jacked . Like I said I went through a consultation before I purchased their services so we agreed on everything ... they're also very expensive as well . I was scheduled on a Saturday for installation of a backsplash. The crew is supposed to be here between 8 and 11 AM. I get a call around 745 asking if I have the material I said no I thought you were supposed to bring it. He then tells me that he's going to Lowe's to check if it's there. I get a call from the office saying the truck has broken down and they won't be here today. I confronted the lady on the phone and said they already told me that the tile is not in, you are lying to me. She replied I'm just saying what my manager told me. I had an installation scheduled for 10-12pm on a Monday morning for my laundry room. I had the gas dryer disconnected and cleared out the room and took off work. Jeremy called and feft me a voicemail on Monday morning that the crew wasn't coming. Apparently he just found out the crew was sick. Now I'm out a days pay AND paying 2X for the dryer reconnect. I posted an earlier review of Hunter's Flooring installing carpet purchased at Lowe's. I wanted to upload a few photos of the work, but couldn't figure out how edit or add on to an existing post. We had an unusual feature on the side of our stairwell. The detailer who came out said that he was not sure that the installers would be able to reproduce that work... it apparently had been done when the house was built. Hunter Flooring was the contractor for Lowe's. Awful Experience that drug on for 2 months . I ordered a rug for my bedroom at my shore house . The floor needed to be patched before installation. Long story short , twice Hunter Flooring installation team came out and was not prepared. Not only were they not prepared. The installer was arguing with Kevin from Hunter. flooring on phone . The installers did not have supplies I paid extra for and was not communicated to from the office about the job we discussed in great detail in a contract. After several phone calls and 4 visits to shore house ( should have only been 2 visits ...150 miles trip each time , 2 extra days off work) job was completed incorrectly and it was a fight to get the credit for my supplies and extra labor in patch work never done!!!! I was very patient and no apologies or anyone from Hunter flooring taking accountability for all the problems I endured and money and time wasted on this very small job. There is no customer service or quality installation. I tried to talk to the owner about my problem just to be told the owner doesn't take those calls. Heed the warnings do not contract with this company or Lowes. The were paid to take out a toilet and reinstall. They didn't know what they were doing and the basement had all water in it. Guy left and never came back. Company told me to call a plumber and they would reimburse me. No reimbursement from company. Had to fight lowes for it. They give you the run around. Very disappointed in the team over at Hunters. I am working with lowes to have floors put in the new house and what a terrible experience it was. The first time they sent an associate out we were told 2 days and lowes would have the estimate done. 4 days later Lowes told us they were missing 2 of the rooms in the house. Now they have to send someone out again. So they have the genius idea to send the same person to my house that messed up the first time. Again I was told 2 days and lowes would have the estimate. 4 days later lowes tells me Hunters told them they lost my measurements. Not sure how this is possible I decide to call Hunters and after being on the phone for almost an hour they tell me it was a "computer glitch" its 2021. Grow up. Now another week will go buy before I can even order the materials, let alone get someone in to put them in. What a terrible experience and what a terrible team between Hunters and Lowes.
