The salesman was great. After that it went all down hill. The initial installation started off with them cutting the carpet incorrectly. The seam would've been in the middle of my living room. They were reading the drawing wrong. They've been back twice to fix the seam because your can see it ( in been had this problem before). The bedroom doorways are sloppily done. And the seams on the stairs, don't get me started. It took 2 phone calls to get someone to come out. They're going to redo the stairs but we had to wait for more carpet to be ordered. They finally call to set up an appointment and I tell them they have to be done by 3PM. At 2 PM, no one has shown up or called. My husband finally called them and they are coming Saturday. I hope they don't send the same installers that we're there the first 2 times. read more

They did my entire second floor, even though they costed me an arm and a leg, Jeff at their Bensalem location made me believe that they will do a good job with the labor. I was wrong!!!! They did a poor job including missing items with installation. I called the sales rep about it three times, he said he will take care of it, finally he said its not his responsibility he only set up orders and charges you and installation is handled by the owner named Ernie. I called Ernie twice, every time I called he said they will do it next Thursday... After I paid them, they were always in a rush to get me off the phone. Lacks customer service and poor managed business. Such a rip off, they just wants your money. Never again!!!!! Be aware of these scammers!!! read more

If you chose Avalon or Lowes over a family owned business like this one, you're an idiot. Go to Adams carpet if you need new carpet. We received a quote from Avalon that was $1200.00. The quote from Adams Carpet was $200.00 less, better carpet, better padding and it felt good that the money was not going to a corporation. AND we received a follow up call after it was installed asking if we were happy with the product..BAM! read more

I had a few problems with a installation with a set of steps . One was the mills fault. One was the installation . But in the end they stuck by there name and product and made sure i was happy in the end .The guys were very polite , but they did leave a mess all 3 times. This should be address in the future,my wife and i were tired of cleaning up everytime they left . Still better than the big box stores , they have great prices. read more

We've all seen the Empire Carpet commercials on TV, happy jingle, happy cartoon installers. We put in carpet last year. Went to all the local firms from south Philly to Broomall and King of Prussia, about 10. Had the Empire guy come out. We settled on Adams. No pressure, patiently attentive and very helpful and knowledgeable. His installers were pros, fast, neat and precise. Came in lower than the locals for the same rug and guarantee. Empire? Exactly double the price of Adams. NOTE: Don't let carpet companies throw their guarantee policy at you. Completely unreliable and not at all accommodating. Had a measurement scheduled which no one ever showed up for. When called for an update, was told the measurement guys could not be reached. Had to reschedule after waiting for 3 hours. When called to reschedule because needed evenings due to work, was told they don't do evenings. Asked for the following Saturday after 2pm and was told that's too late. After being stood up, would think they would try to accommodate a potential client. Didn't even suggest another possibility. I will take my business elsewhere. read more
