It was the worst disaster you could have. A year and a half after install I still have 10 drastically leaking windows. They refuse to honor their warrantee and I have a $60,000 multi-slide that was installed incorrectly resulting in 1/2 inch gaps between panels and no panels that can actually move. It is a fire hazard because you cannot open the multi-slide. I will be filing a large claims lawsuit for $160,000 that was paid for the windows and doors and will be sharing this review and filing a complaint with the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) (I am a member) and the SCHBA (I am a member locally as well). Weathershield was sold to Pella...and they too do not return my 10 calls and dozens of emails. DO NOT BUY PELLA OR WEATHERSHIELD YOU WILL REGRET IT. They will never get anymore business in my area nor from anyone I speak to.

Worst company to deal with especially when they made their own mistakes…read more I had ordered 20 windows from Weather Shield because their authorized dealer was knowledgeable. I placed the order in January 2025. Three months into production, I was told that Weather Shield engineering team made a mistake and undercharged me. I had to pay the extra fees in order for production to continue. April comes around and I am notified that the windows were ready for pickup and installation only to find out that 2 of my windows were missing grids. After installation, 2 windows wouldn't close properly, and 4 arch windows were manufactured properly that 3 different installers said they can't do it. After a lot of back and forth from me, to the dealer, to the manufacturer (I had called Weather shield personally, and I was turned away because they only "deal" with resellers not the customers), Weather finally installed the missing grid in June and fixed the 2 windows. The 4 poorly manufactured windows have yet to be fixed. I was forced to keep my scaffolding for longer than needed because of Weather shield poor quality control. My home renovation completion date is pushed back because of their carelessness. At least own up to your mistakes and make it right for the customers Weather Shield.

The overwhelming response was "That's the way it is...we just live with it." Hogwash! After some detective work I found Kolbe Service Pros and their great support team. Jeremiah came for an onsite visit to inspect the less than accurate handiwork of the previous installer and prescribed a remedy that was much less costly than a new sliding glass door. A short while passed before the parts arrived and Jeremiah was back to solve the problem. As he removed the legacy materials he observed that some of them were installed BACKWARD and one was missing from the original installation. Who knew? Jeremiah even took the time to educate me on the proper locking mechanism positions of the door and made some adjustments to ensure a proper seal. The door closed into position sealing out the din from the street below and the new neighbor's dog YIP whose namesake reflects his general state of engagement in the neighborhood. They liked us a lot when I paid in cash for the doors before they were installed. Their service is horrible after they have your money. They replaced door panels and told us that it was covered by the truck owners insurance and today I received a notice in the mail from a collection agency for it??? The truck owner is the one who ordered the panels to start with to replace the ones he had damaged. It seems like their doors don't work at all. Definitely not worth what we paid for them. Nor do they seem to care to provide customer service.
