First of all these guys had the lowest price on this specific door that I received anywhere ($2500) I thought about doing the install myself but the same door was $2300 at home depot WITHOUT the garage door opener and without install. The door was installed and I was happy with the install. The reason I did not rate a 5 was due to their communication. I had to call to verify the door had been ordered after my initial deposit cleared. Several weeks later, I called on a Monday to have them check the bucking to make sure when the installer came there would be no issues. They never came and then I called on Thursday to verify all was "go". Then they told me to get measurements before they would come out, if not they would rechedule the install for Wednesday. I had to step away from work to verify the dimensions with the bucking installer to avoid a reschedule. Once the door was installed, they followed up very reliably to collect the rest of the funds. Overall, I'm very happy. Wasn't ripped off (this is south florida and this is sometimes normal business practice) Got the best price after calling everybody. They were the few that even offered a door with an 18.4 R-value. You might need to micro-manage them a little but for me it was worth it. read more

I was told it will be 6mo wait due to Covid pandemic, I found out later it was 6mo wait because Clopay remove them as a dealer. In December 2022 is when they installed my door. OMG, this has to be the worse customer experience of my life. I ordered the garage door in Jan 2022. Just had the garage door installed Oct. 14th. I was told the garage door was in their warehouse in May. For months, I tried to get the garage door installed for months with no success. There was always some reason or another. I have 5 failed install attempts. Each time I asked for a manager or Eric (Owner's Brother- sales guy) to please call me back, I got this can response, "we don't call out customers back because we are so busy focusing on getting orders out. We have found that it is better when the customers call us." What the.....? In addition to that, when appointments would be set up and scheduled, no one would show up. I would call their customer service department and ask where their installer was after missing the appointment and I heard stories from the installer quit this week, to what appointment, to the garage door is not in the warehouse. On top of all that, I had a loan secured with the state of Florida to make payments on the door thru my taxes over so many years because of the 10K price tag. Because they failed to deliver my garage door within the timeline provided, the loan program closed my account and my credit line for non-use. Then on the day of installation, Hurricane Garage Doors (hurricanegaragedoorfl.com) wanted all of the money or else. I said that I wasn't expecting to pay out of pocket I would need to pay by credit card then. Who would have thought it would take 10 months to get a garage door? On the day of installation, I learned that my loan was closed. Guess what, they don't take care of cards anymore either. It's a cash business now. Wonder why. Then, they forced me to work with one of their lenders, GreenSky, thus taking another credit hit for a new credit account. Ordered 2 garage doors and paid 50% deposit on June 22nd, when I called for installation they claim the doors came in wrong size and color and that they would refund me my deposit for the screw up since new order would take too long, I purchased doors from another vendor and after 3 weeks I am still waiting for my refund for their mistake. The Sales process was quick and to the point. The installation was 100% quality, these guys know how to install these doors, very clean process. The part in the middle was terrible from the permitting process (Mercury Services LLC) to the customer service follow up, to the escalation to the Salesman John, they did not call me back or provide update on the status of my order. It wasn't until I contacted Brayan Toro (sales) is when things started to come together. So I giving them 3 star bc the product and the installation was 100%. They need to improve on there internal customer service dept, permitting process and set the expectation with the client, the process will take 2+ months. Start to finish 8 weeks. read more

I can't understand how these guys have over 4.5 rating (On Google). I called them up last week, my garage door was "out of service". They gave me an estimate of $350 for "Service and Rollers". I thought they were actually going to service and repair the door. The only thing the tech did was replace the rollers. Then has the audacity to tell me as he's leaving. "By the way, you have a few hinges bent and may need replacing, give me a call if you want to do it. I thought that's what I was paying $350 for 20 minutes of work, if he was even here that long. Needless to say, two days later the door was no in worse shape than when they first got here. The second time was a Saturday (I'll give them that). I called them up, all I wanted to hear was if someone was passing by or not. At one time the guy who always picks up mentioned "ok ok, we'll have someone out there today". I think he just got tired of hearing me complain. I called back about an hour to verify and get an estimate of the time when someone would pass by. Then he mention, "No "[tech name]" said he told you he'll be there tomorrow. Which is an absolute lie, eventually they stopped answering the phone. At this point, my door is at an angle half way open, can't really leave that way. I found another company, that passed by and I'm now buying a new door from them. They took the time to help me "not charge" and get my door closed again so I can at least leave my house. It's too late for me and I was ripped off, $350 down the drain, live and learn. I called to confirm we were moving forward with a contract and he requested a deposit over the phone. I told him I felt more comfortable giving him a check in person and signing a contract face to face. We agreed to meeting at 9:00 next day. I can only reiterate what others have said here about the worst customer service I have ever experienced in 40 years! Would give them minus 10 stars if I could. Gave a deposit in March 2022. Brought wrong doors in May. Finally got door installed after 10 months. However, there is no identification on the doors as to the manufacturer, door model, serial number or anything. I have no idea if I got the door I was supposed to get. Declined to pay them the balance due until permit cleared and I received documents regarding the door which are required by the building permit department. They then proceeded to make threatening calls and texts. I told them many times I would pay them as soon as the permit cleared and I had proper documents so something is fishy here as to why they refused to provide paperwork. Well now I know by reading the other reviews! When we first had contacted this company Alex came out to give us an estimate for a new door, opener and keypad and a MyQ app so we could control it on our phone. That was May 2020 and we said we would go ahead with the installation. We had the whole system installed on our Anniversary 7-20-20 while we hung around. August 2021 the screen on the opener was backwards and only 1/2 showing the info. I called the company on August 8, 2021 and spoke to Eric- he told me to send him a picture through email of the keypad and then as soon as he could get a tech here he would schedule and also it would be covered! After 2 months and not hearing from the company, I called back and also emailed them again on October 4th, 2021 to ask when someone would be out to replace the pad. I was told it would be Tuesday, October 19th between 9-12. At 12:40pm, still no communication so I called them- I was told they had me as the first appt. but went to the wrong place and so they went to their install job! I received info on an app that said they would arrive at my house at 4:30, they rolled in at 5:10! One of the guys said to me, "What's the issue?" I said don't you know why you're here? I showed him the pad that was to be replaced and he walked to the truck and comes back with a slightly squashed box with a different model than what was to be replaced! At this point I'm getting quite aggravated as they are 5 1/2 hours later than the late time of appt. I told the guy it was wrong, he walks away to the truck and gets on the phone- at which time my phone starts to ring and its the company calling! Paula tells me the basic pad is $95.00 and the one I have is $175.00 and they have to order it! I said that it was very bad customer service as I waited ALL DAY and was expecting the same model and it to be covered! Now I'm hopping mad!! Brian gets on the phone and tells me there is nothing they can do and it is not covered under the warranty at which point I said there should be something that can be done as this is VERY BAD customer service! Nope, he basically told me to take it or leave it at which point I hung up and told the guys they could leave!! This was by far the WORST customer experience I have ever had and believe me, I will be spreading my review all around!! read more

Besides the quality of the door, there is nothing good to say about this company. Like many others before me, I wish I had done some research on this company before hiring them. Please do yourself a favor and stay away! After waiting on my door for 6 weeks I finally called them to see what was going on. They said they" found my door" and scheduled me for installation about 3 weeks out. They then proceeded to reschedule my installation appointment window 3 times in the day proceeding my appointment. I took off of work to be there when we had planned(which was adjusted that many times to fit their schedule, not mine) and they didn't show up. I find out from my tile installers, when I showed up for our actual scheduled appointment time, that they had come 3 hours before our appointment and left without calling, texting or emailing me. I called the office to find out why and they told me that they showed up at that early time and the garage wasn't cleaned out so they couldn't do the job. I'm like duh... it wasn't cleaned out because you guys weren't supposed to be there for another 3 hours and I cant leave all my belongings sitting in my driveway unattended all day. We then reschedule the appointment again( took another day off of work) and they missed it. They had a 4 hour appointment window and missed it lol!!! They called me and said they would be there an hour late, so we waited. Not terrible, if that's where it ended. An hour later I call to find out what's going on. I explain to them for the 20th time that the house is vacant and under construction, with no AC and I'm 9 months pregnant waiting in the south Florida heat for them. They didn't show up for another 2 hours. So by this time im fuming because now ive taken two days of work off and it was pointless. It was supposed to be a 2-3 hour install but they installed my door until midnight that night. No exaggeration, midnight! My poor husband sat there all night with them because he had all of our stuff in the driveway to reload into the garage when they were done. He had to work a 24 hour shift at the fire station the next day and was stuck waiting on a garage door install at midnight. So unacceptable. Then they had the audacity to ask for final payment immediately,when I couldn't even see the work they had done because it was pitch black out. I explained to them I would call the office as soon as I got there at 5 ish tomorrow after work and could see the door to make the final payment. I received 5 phone calls from them before 5 pm the next day about final payment. I had called and written them multiple emails previously expressing my concerns, with no response. I wish they ran their company with the gusto they put into their "bill collection". Not only did all of my concerns fall on deaf ears there( they actually blamed me multiple times for not being able to do the install the first time when they showed up 3 hours early, but they then tried charging me for having to cut the concrete when they didn't include that in my quote. It was just a disaster and so not worth it. Hopefully this helps someone make better decisions than me. read more
